As a SEA expert, I'd say Thailand is safe, I've totalled more than 6 months living there and never had any issue.

As a comparison I stayed 2 months in Vietnam, got 2 weird diseases including moluscum contagiosum, as well as a girl who gave me tonsilitis just before she got the symptoms herself. And finally a 4th disease just as I left to Indonesia that catched up on me when I arrived and lasted 1 week.

Not sure why you guys are talking about AIDs. That's just a few pills a day and the medicine has minimal side effects.

Normally you can tell within the first 3 minutes of chat whether a dude is getting laid (with any decent quality) or not. You don't even need to see him in action, you just know. I met one of these big talking dick heads a few months ago in Medellin, what a fucking idiot, we first met for a coffee and he was bragging about all the hookers he was banging in Colombia and the Ukraine.
