I don't understand how a meetup with Kona could be a disaster.

There was a hilarious post, which unfortunately I can't find now, where some loser tried to meet with Kona and Kona just tore the guy apart. Accused him of being a weirdo who knew nothing about Polynesian culture and who treated the girls as whores, a shiftless layabout with no money in the bank account who tried to crash on his couch because he was too poor to afford a hostel. Absolutely shredded the guy. Sounded like the guy deserved it, too.

I can't remember where I saw it, and Kona has ten billion posts so I doubt I'll ever find it, but if somebody else has it, it's an amazing read.

Problem is, not everybody here does that.

Lots of people are on the forum for different reasons. The members who do smash pussy and are stacking their paper are complaining about the loser WN types who don't do that and are spreading their hateful nonsense.

Rainbow RE: Two black men arrested in Philadelphia Starbucks
Back on the actual topic of this post.

Starbucks paying these guys off and the media giving them airtime was a bad idea. Cause now your gonna have all kind of riffraff acting up in places and then refusing to leave hoping they are gonna be the next to collect a big paycheck and get there 15 mins of fame.

Prally not super relevant but earlier this week I was riding my bicycle around and passed this house with a really impressive garden. I' pass it all time however on this day there were cars parked everywhere and people dressed up like its Easter Sunday all walking around and little booths set up with people painting, taking photos, little food vendors. So I parked my bike an walked in to see what all they had going on. I noticed in the middle of the garden was a table of older ladies mean mugging me (except one old lady with a fancy hat on, she was raping me with her eyes) so I walk by to see what they have set up at the table an the leader of the pack ask me "Do you have your ticket?" I reply I don't I was just passing through an wanted to see what was going on (super friendly and courteously) she tells me something about gardens and the weekend an $40 a ticket... she was pretty rude. It was obvious to me she didn't want me there. Everyone at the garden was pretty much older and well dressed and I'm a bearded man in jeans an a tee shirt. I expressed that I wasn't interested in purchasing a ticket I just wanted to see what was happening. She pretty rudely told me "Well you see, now if you dont have a ticket you have to go" So I smiled and said "The garden looks lovely, enjoy the rest of your day" An I left.... it bothered me a little bit all week... However I was asked to leave and I simply left. I think a lot of these "national headline" stories kind of follow a similar path. There was always a easy way to avoid the whole situation yet that aspect of it is looked over and only the end result is the focus. Prally a bit of a rant on my part however I typed it all out an now I'm going to post it.

RE: Two black men arrested in Philadelphia Starbucks
This is the perfect media event because no one who knows has told us what really happened.

After all the videos and all the comments in this thread, I have no idea whether the takeaway is 'racist barista' or 'trespassing.'

Probably, the truth of the incident doesn't even lie in what was said to who.

It more likely was a sigh, rolled eyes, a sneer, or a peremptory tone of voice.

Someone said something to someone else in a way they didn't like.

And suddenly, some barista got more stubborn about company policy than normal, or a couple of guys felt they had to take a stand to combat disrespect.

And that is why it is the perfect media event, because no one knows what really happened, and there is just enough gray area to allow anyone of any opinion to piggyback on top of this incident and use it as a perfect example of what I have always been telling you.

At the end of the day, this was some weird personal thing between a fat girl and a couple of guys that they should have worked out between themselves in an adult way, but they didn't, and it never helps to get the police involved, and it certainly doesn't help to get social media involved.

This is such a big nothing, it is the kind of thing that people should be able to resolve or take in their stride on their own, and the idea that we have had this big, emotional thread over it, well, that is just more proof that it is the very ambiguity of what happened is its greatest attraction to everyone everywhere.

It can mean whatever anyone wants it to mean.

This is literally more like a circus than any sort of life lesson for the common man. There are at least three rings, and there are lights, and thrills, and high emotion, and there is always something going on somewhere to distract and absorb as each pundit and online joker gives his or her take on it.

I feel like we all just took the bait.

Aloha!

It is far far too late to do damage control now.

I went back and read those threads and I have to say that had I realized what a beast you were capable of being on the internet, I would have held my tongue about your lawn, that is for damn sure.

I am sorry, and I am sure you have a great lawn, and I promise to treat you with the respect you deserve in the future.

(Not that I haven't treated you with perfect respect up until this point, it is just that only now am I realizing the kind of carnage you are capable of and I am also realizing that I am capable of looking deep inside myself and finding even more respect than I have heretofore found it within me to proffer.)

Do you know that when you told that dude that you could choke him out with the collar of his coat, it actually made me look down to check out the collar of my coat to see if I had put myself similarly at risk?

I don't think you will have to worry about disaster meetups in the future, as there will be more men than me who are suddenly aware of the danger they are in, and will, with prudence and wisdom, avoid Oahu at all costs, and thus spare themselves the humiliation and shame of having you size them up.

I hope you will accept my apologies on behalf of all of us who now, suddenly, are aware of the danger our casual comments have put us in, and are showing a willingness, in good faith, to shape up or ship out.

Warm Regards,

d.

Is this the reason for the lackluster response to my fishing tournament offer?

Remember, I was referred to a lifestyle coach. The lifestyle coach and I have worked for several years to fix my issues. I lay on the therapy couch and talk, but I don't sleep on it for a week.

And how do you really know I have a lawn at all? Maybe the lifestyle coach programmed me to push Lawn Boy's evil manifesto?

I have my reasons but much of it is personal.

Here's a proposition. Nominate a trusted member who's neutral on my politics and on who's word I can be sure will not breach trust.

I will explain my situation to him on the proviso that if he says it makes sense you will drop the issue.

This is an offer I'm willing to make because it actually is a legitimate question, but I'm not laying my life bare on the demand of a bunch of hostile strangers.

Ok fine, we can play this clandestine game if you so choose. I would say though that some explanation beyond a "yes he's legit" is required here if you want to quell any doubts and be taken seriously. Respect is earned, not demanded.

I'll give you 3 names, all white Aussies since that's what you're most comfortable with: Dream Machine, Parcelus, or Anonymous Bosch. AB already chimed in here, admonishing your thin skin so you may not want him. The other two are solid in my mind. More than one member would be better to see if the stories corroborate since no one has ever met you.

I missed this post in the churn. AB is not suitable as he's already made his mind up on me as of months ago.

Are you referring to Dream Medicine?

Anyhow, there's no point in private messaging another member for him to just paraphrase to everyone else everything I've told him. What exactly would be the point of that?

As for whether I regain this so-called credibility among the thin skinned forum members, I really don't give a shit. This drama has nothing to do with whether I'm really real. That's just the vector of attack the self-appointed forum censors have taken to deligitimise me. They're not going to come around regardless of what I do or don't reveal about myself, and frankly half of them would dox me as reliably as any antifa.

You nominate a trusted and neutral member who agrees to participate. I deal with them. They give the thumbs up or down. Nothing more. The end.

So you take the compromise or you suck eggs. Your choice.

I've met around 40 people combined (not that much but not that little), both on here and off.

I volunteer!

RE: Two black men arrested in Philadelphia Starbucks
Let's slow down for a second with the accusations toward Leo being some kind of undercover op, lying about his real life, etc.

I can easily find 3 hours to spend on the forum in a day posting plenty of times if I really desire to put all of my free time and attention toward it. Hell, when my boys are napping, that's 2+ hours right there to easily crank of 30 posts if I wanted to. Yea, I get that his posts are longer, but I know people who have families are able to spend a lot of time online.

Are they neglecting their families? Well that depends on how much time is being invested in the matters and concerns of family life and that of the area's of life that you care about spending your time toward. For Leo, this is hobby. You'd be surprised how many men with families can spend fishing, hobbies, sports fandom, ect.

Look at what he says is his life. It's not some crazy NTP bragging. It's a rather simple life with family if you think about it. OF course this could make him the perfect "operative", but you could say that about most of us.

Now would meeting some people on the forum put this at rest? Maybe. Or the suspicion would continue because some of you have taken personal offense to him and vice versa. If you want to believe someone isn't who they say they are - and you already dislike them - you are going to find reasons and evidence to confirm that view. Confirmation bias comes easily to us all.

Some of us may be irritated with him because of his attention to race. However, there was a time when plenty of us were talking about it in depth. It was the next stage in our "Red Pilling" moments to some extent. Just like the anger stage, we moved past. Maybe Leo isn't at that point.

At some point, I firmly believe there is only so much vitriol and hate that you can stomach - even if you are an actual Nazi, BLM, La Raza type etc. You notice the toxicity of these people and just how miserable they are. Once you come to the point where you want to build a family and a legacy with what you've learned, building a positive identity rather then a negative one, (For instance blaming jews, minorities, whites, ect for all problems being the source of your primary identity and focus) you stop paying as much time and investment toward the activists, baiters, etc and start putting it toward the rebuilding.

If we really want to move away from some of the race-baiting or just the obsession with racial conversations in general, we are going to have show these folks a better path so they dont end up like Cristopher Cantwell or Ta Nehsi Coates. If there's one thing clear on this forum, its that we are trying to build an identity based off mutually held views with other men with similar goals. However, we will need much more than just that.

I tried to come up with some ideas for this matter in a looooong post I wrote "Lost Cogs In A Global Machine: Toward Building An Identity In The Dissident Right"

I'm not one to plug my own stuff, but in this case I think it's pertinent to so much of the disagreements and hostility I'm seeing between forum members. For far too long, most of us have been united as a forum/group based on what we were opposed to. When we've already said everything we can on those subjects, we appear to start turning on each other to further cement our "reputations".

We risk a negative identity being what unites us.

Now there are plenty on here like Aurini, Quintus, and others trying to forge ideas, foundations, solutions, and resources to build for the future, but the temptation to squabble seems to be attract the drama we appear to enjoy so much.

All this rambling set aside, I'll talk to Leo in a heartbeat over skype or whatever. I'm not anonymous. I'm not at risk of being "exposed" anymore then I already am. I just want to see all this put behind all of us. If you guys are wondering, I've met people in the Chicago tribe including Forney who can vouch for me.

"Be a leader and never ever follow" That's what my father, that's what he always told me. So with those words boldly spoken, he sent me down a long and hard road.

Wow we have a ton of volunteers who have stepped up, all excellent choices. This is starting to become like American Idol. Who will be the winner? Who will Crocodile Dundee choose to verify his existence? Any other volunteers? Suits, what about you? You know you want to.

I think this LDN stuff is distracting us from the real issue here: How do we know that Kona's stories about his boats, his couch, and his lawn are all real? What if he's actually a 4 foot tall eskimo woman named Snorj who's never seen a beach in her life? How can we be sure Kona really is who says he is?

I think that the only way to REALLY get to the bottom of the KQ (Kona Question) is for the entire forum to chip in to send somebody to Hawaii to check up on him. Ideally you'd want that person to spend at least two weeks there, so that they can really get to the bottom of this matter. And to make sure they can remain neutral if Kona tempts them an offer to sleep on his comfortable couch, I think we should put that person up in a 5 star hotel for those two weeks, along with a generous food stipend so they can try out the local surf and turf.

I bravely volunteer myself for this task. It's a big sacrifice, but I'm willing to make it for the sake of the forum.

Kona has generously offered invitations to forum members to his place numerous times over the years on RVF. I feel bad no one has ever taken the time to actually go see him, cause he deserves some good meetup experiences to cancel out the 1 negative one he had so many years ago. Next time I pass by Hawaii, I will pay him a visit.

However, if you are waiting for Leonard to invite to anything (even a simple video call via smartphone) without a list of contractual terms and conditions attached, you can wait a long, long time.

Oh this story it all feels a bit set up to me. Speaks to how crazy this country is that these guys getting kicked out caused such an outrage. But it also reeks of the liberal tolerant white woman type who is totally tolerant except she see's a "Scary looking hoodlum" walking around in her gated community.

Normally i'd say that race has NOTHING to do with it but in this case it's hard to say that cause other people are saying that they go to Starbucks and sit there and don't order anything, yet don't get treated the same way these two guys got treated. All in all a shitty situation.

On the LDN situation well frankly it's obvious the guy doesn't like American blacks too much. Literally, every race thread he's in there talking about how the Oppressed white man will is getting angry and will FINALLY rise up and cast off the leeching negros. It's such a common post of his that i've become numb to it.

TK is right too about him staying in his lane. It's not about posting in a thread of a country you don't live in. It's how you post in that thread. He gives the impression that he lives there and has some sort of skin in the game and you'd think that from how much vitriol and hate is in his posts. I've even seen him talk to a non white american and insinuated that he's more american than them despite living in Australialand despite that non white member being american. All in all there are definitely questions to be asked.

I think you should hire a lawyer and contact the ACLU about this. We need to take action and once and for all change the way young, jeans wearing men with full beards are treated in this country.

This is America damn it!

Normally i'd say that race has NOTHING to do with it but in this case it's hard to say that cause other people are saying that they go to Starbucks and sit there and don't order anything, yet don't get treated the same way these two guys got treated. All in all a shitty situation.

How in the hell were they treated badly?

If you go to a cafe to use the bathroom and don't order anything you should be kicked out.

If you refuse to leave, either the police should be called or you should be physically removed by the staff.

Just because Starcucks and a lot of other large franchises are usually run by people who don't give a shit what you do there, doesn't make it right. It's not a free public space to enjoy wifi and bathrooms, regardless of their politics.

A minimum wage employee who is watched by some other minimum wage employees who don't own Starbucks are unlikely to give a shit about freeloaders, it's probably not his job to clean bathrooms anyway.

Do you guys get out into the real world and actually visit independent businesses? Do you think they would accept that behaviour from anyone regardless of race? No, because the employees there might own the place and they sure as fuck don't want to clean up after you.

I was in a family owned cafe in Mexico the other day, when some huge fat dude came in and asked to use the bathroom. They said no, he argued with them for a while, but the woman politely told him no. He decided to walk past her and go for the door.

I'm not a violent or big guy but I was the only man there and when he did that my adrenaline started pumping and I started to get ready to go for the fat guys legs. I can't stand that attitude and this is a local cafe I go to a lot. It was also probably the home and personal bathroom of many of the employees there. You have to watch out for poor and homeless pieces of shit who refuse act in a civilised manner. You never know what they might do.

Luckily the manager came out, locked the door and this guy was not going to fight with him over it so he left. I am sure that fat guy would get knocked down if he took it any further, I doubt they'd bother getting the police involved here. I don't see anything wrong with that at all. It's protecting your business from freeloading scumbags.

Whether these guys in philadelphia did this stunt on purpose or not, they were acting disrespectfully and rudely on someone else's property. Think about that, would you let a stranger use your bathroom? and would you call the police or physically remove him yourself if he decided to stay on your property?

In the real world, in a real business, with real owners and managers, you would be lucky if all that happens is the men physically remove you with only a minor beating.

In fucking crazy cuckoo first world america land they become BLM heroes, and all sorts of people, even on RVF, consider it an act of racism that these brave men who didn't do nothing were removed from the property by police.

Because if you have a rule that you selectively enforce then it really brings into question in this situation if there is a racial component to it. I am not sure there is but it reflects poorly on the manager. You're totally right that the manager is totally within her right to call the cops but the question a lot of people including me are asking is.. would they say a thing if it were two white chicks in juicy sweatpants and ugg boots? I don't think she'd say anything to them. If it was some hipster guy with his laptop "Working" all day then I doubt they'd ask him to leave or call the cops either.

That's why we are here IMO... The fact that there are a lot of other people who have just sat there and not ordered a thing and yet didn't run into this problem yet these two guys did. And before you say it yes those guys are in the wrong too cause they should of immediately left when asked. However the fact that they were asked while a lot of others weren't is the $1 million dollar question. All in all this situation reflects poorly on these guys as does it on the manager.

OK you don't like that their rules are selectively enforced. I'm saying that's because Starbucks and other similiar big franchises are staffed by a bunch of minimum wage people who will only put in extra effort if they might get a tip out of it.

Independent businesses in most parts of the world would not selectively enforce their rules. This selective enforcement is because there are millions of starbucks in different places with different people and many of them simply don't care.

Yes, you can take advantage of the lack of authority in most of these places and freeload. Especially if you are polite and don't draw attention to yourself. That's not what these guys did at all.

One Starbucks was different and decided to say no to freeloaders. It's in a more dangerous part of the US. It's not in hipsterville, two guys walk in, ask to use the bathroom and then refuse to leave, they've already acted like complete cunts, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that they then proceed to act violently. Then you may have a real problem.

That's pretty different than staying an hour after you finish your food or quietly and sneakily freeloading.

I would definitely be calling the police, whether they were black/white/hipster or not. Letting people get away with rude and aggressive behaviour will only lead to more aggressive and rude behaviour. I'm not suprised someone there did.

Do you see why they might selectively enforce their rules? A harmless looking guy who hasn't bought anything and is sitting on his laptop using the wifi is a lot less threatening to your business and your personal safety than two grown men acting rudely, defiantly and aggressively in your business.

Also it looks like the bathroom rule is not selectively enforced, you need the code from the reciept to get in, so you would have to order something. Or they would have to make an exception for you. They probably don't want to make exceptions that would be work and would risk getting you into trouble. They don't want to work too hard remember, it's not their business after all.

RE: Two black men arrested in Philadelphia Starbucks
I don't see why a story about two bums, that happened to be black, and could have probably been any other colour since most homeless are men either way, has devolved into such a shitstorm. It would seem people are generally more worried with identity politics than the possibility of a nuclear holocaust or something of the sort. It's like a very widespread but yet somehow unknown stage of collective insanity.

The Internet is an extremely useful microphone, but while the laundry gossip of big countries is more important than the striking issues of small, less relevant ones, there is a lot of work to be done.

"Christian love bears evil, but it does not tolerate it. It does penance for the sins of others, but it is not broadminded about sin. Real love involves real hatred: whoever has lost the power of moral indignation and the urge to drive the sellers from temples has also lost a living, fervent love of Truth."

We're not talking about businesses around the world though. We're talking about this starbucks in this specific location. Every business is different but in this instance the focus is on this Starbucks in this location.

No doubt that these guys are entitled shitheads who i would of kicked out as well. However, if this starbucks is getting certain people a pass and not giving others a pass then obviously this is gonna be a problem. Everything i've seen so far indicates that these guys were not violent and sat politely but i could be wrong. From what is saw they started acting "rude" after the cops were called but i could be wrong about that too.

Them being "Threatening" then is what we eventually get to which is why we're asking these questions about race.. Two big tall black guys and one of them as a Muslim looking beard. A middle class white lady who spends her life in a gated community could easily feel threatened by them.. that's why we're asking these questions. In a perfect world this whole situation wouldn't happen but.. this isn't a perfect world.
