I'm out on a date tonight with a hot redhead. Solid 8. We go to a fancy dinner, and after we head to a bar for a nightcap. We're sitting at a table next to a window and everything is going good for your buddy Hank. Good company, good convo, and she's dressed smokin' hot.

However, there is a group of really, really really drunk college girls, all of whom are fat, disgusting, and have dyed purple hair right next to us, in the middle of the aisle (where they're not supposed to be, but the bar is doing nothing about it, even though they're blocking the servers egress to the kitchen). One has a nose ring like a bull. In contrast, my date is beautiful, wearing a black dress, red lipstick and looking very feminine. The pigs are getting louder and louder, bumping into my table, and being extremely annoying. I can't hear myself over their "LET'S DO A SHOT!" "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" "FUCK TRUMP" blah blah blah.

Things cross the line when the one male in the group, who looks like a male feminist, literally puts his hand over my table (between me and my date) and starts tapping the window. I finally decide to say something.

"Dude, I've been patient with you all tonight, but you just crossed the line. Please get away from my table. Please do not put your hand over my table."
"I was just..."
"I'm not going to ask you again. Please take you and your friends away from my table, otherwise you're going to have a problem with me."
"I'm sorry, we're just trying to have fun and celebrate."
"That's fine, and I'm not trying to be a dick, but you and your friends are interrupting our conversation. Putting your hand in our faces crossed the line. If you want to talk about it outside, I'd be pleased to."
"I'm sorry about that. We'll move over there..."

He's actually very cool about it, and backs down. Date is impressed that I actually said something. I figure it's over.

Then, a giant fat chick from the group walks up to our table. She is absolutely disgusting and looks like Shrek.

"You're a dick!"
"Go away."
"Maybe you should have your little Tinder date somewhere else..."
[In Hank's mind: "You're pretty funny for a fat chick."]

The feminist dude pulls her off and apologizes to us. I'm impressed that he handled the situation, and let him know. She backs off.

Unfortunately, he then leaves the bar and now all that's left are the fat drunk pigs. They move back to my space and begin to intentionally bang into our table, pushing their bags against us, and just acting like the entitled disgusting fat cunts they are, while making loud comments about us. (Not to sound conceded, but we're a pretty good looking couple and dressed to the nines.) They're so loud that I can't even have a conversation. Apparently this is really funny to them.

My date is ready to brawl with these bitches. I tell her this is a waste of our time, and that we're calling an Uber and going back to my place. She acquiesces, we go back to my place, and Hank scores another notch.

However, here is my question: how does a male deal with a group of girls who are trying to start violence? If there were any guys in the crowd, I would have simply called them out and started shit with them. Candidly, I was caught a bit off guard having to fend off a group of angry females. When it's girls, I can't fight them, and calling them names would probably provoke them to throw a drink in my face without any ramifications whatsoever (hell, I'd probably get arrested for "hate speech" because she was just "defending herself"). At the same time, I don't want to look like a supplicating beta in front of my date, especially over some fat loud disgusting filthy pigs.

What would you guys have done? How should men deal with angry violent women? Should I have called them fat, disgusting pigs? Or did I make the right move by simply leaving?

In my gut, I feel like a coward getting run out of a bar by a bunch of fat drunk college students. I'm actually surprised that my date didn't see it that way.

When your server comes back ask them to get the manager for you.
Then speak with the manager directly about how they are disturbing your time there.
If the manager is worth their salt they will deal with the hogs.
IF they don't...

Tell the manager you want you bill so you can find another place to eat that treats their customers well.
Just cancel your order.
Pay for your drinks or whatever has come to the table.
Then leave.

No need to put up with bratty obnoxious hogs.
Being 6'3 220, those types of girls are always trying to test me (sexual attention is my best guess). Sometimes they've tried to get physical with me.
I usually just side step them and dodge their attacks on me. If they go for my date or a female friend then i get aggressive.
Legally speaking if you're defending your friend/date/gf you have a lot more leeway in what you can do and not be arrested.

I cant count how many times Ive slipped a bartender, server, or even manager a word and $20 to re seat me or remove an annoyance (drunks, loud talkers, crying kids).

Remaining calm, cool, and collected can certainly be seen in the right behavior.

Most quality girls know that violence has a time and a place, and this one certainly wasn't it. Standing up to the dude in a straightforward way (you "handled it" in her eyes) was enough to get you kudos for the whole night.

The only thing you could have MAYBE done (and it would have been purely for ego) would be to have a shell-shocking quip to say and then leave. Leave them in absolute stunned silence and just walk out with your date. If you're going to say this, your coat should be on and you should be ready to leave. Must be said with 100% cool confidence - because you know the last laugh is yours.

You know, like:

"Enjoy the rest of your night! Maybe if you cut down to just 5 beers a night, someday you could fit in a dress like her's" (while motioning to your date)

"Hope you enjoy the rest of the NFL draft party - don't worry, I'm sure you'll get picked soon."

With that being said...saying that kind of shit makes you feel better but can still have ramifications and wouldn't have done much in the scheme of things. You got the lay, that's what matters.

In the future you could also use it as an excuse to bounce out, "It's so loud in here, let's down our drinks and then I'll whip us some even better cocktails at home."

Undoubtedly they would say something to her that could totally kill the vibe.

Different areas have different laws, punishments, and cultural norms. If you live in an area where fighting over a confrontation like that would get you into a lot of trouble, anyone living there is going to be aware of that, including your date. Restraining yourself shows good awareness of what you can and can't get away with, not cowardice.

I'd pull up the side of my shirt and jacket, show them the butt of my gun, and rest my hand on it while giving them a death stare, but I live in a place where you can get away with that.

Adapt to your location, and assume your date is smart enough to do the same thing.

I'd probably lean in toward my girl with my best happy-psychopath look and ask "what do you think I should do about these ham-beasts?"

Most girls don't want to make a scene, but they want to know that you [I]would[I] make a scene if it were necessary. Let them "call off the dog", then change location.

Just a quick question. What does a stylish man and a stylish lady, dressed head to heels, do in a place that has that kind of clientele? Quite sure there are plenty of good restaurants, rooftop lounges or cozy bars in your town, where certainly these kind of people dont feel confortable going into, and even if they do go, the staff will be much less tolerant. If you dont want to get burned, just dont go jumping the fire pit.

As regards dealing with the situation you actually found yourself in, leaving was the best move, especially for a highly qualified man such as yourself, who has a reputation to maintain, and professional bodies to deal with.

The better move would have been not to go in to start with. On a night out, I'm always looking for trouble, so that I can avoid it, and the presence of a pod of purple haired terrestrial cetaceans would have been enough for me to hit the red button and go elsewhere.

This was my thinking, pick a better bar next time. You said this was a night cap, so the rowdiness was a perfect opportunity to get her to a more quiet and private place *wink*.

Most things in life are out of your control - roll with it or better tweak the script.

Horrible advice, imo. SJWs will no doubt call the police and you'll get picked up for "brandishing," and that's true in nearly any major city.

FWIW, I don't think Hank could have handled it any better than he did, other than calling out the manager and either forcing his/her hand or leaving with his date.

Agreed about involving management. The guy was just being clueless and still deserved a shot at being treated with respect, but the mooing bison, you shouldn't even have to acknowledge their presence.

This is the benefit of frequenting an establishment where you have management on lock. My favorite bar, if I need somebody removed or if a server is playing a game trying to hold a table for her friends, I just have to make eye contact with the manager and it's fixed without asking.

My style would have been to apologize to them and that I will get them all a round of shots to smooth it over. I would have talked to the bartender, explained the situation, gave them a decent cash tip, and ordered up the shots. I would have then started to make the way to the exit while their shots were being placed in front of them, because I want a quick exit, but enough time to see their reaction to putting those water shots down.

It's a fuck you, but it's a funny fuck you.
