I am trying to ask out a girl. At first, she accepted but then "something came up" and we can't meet. However, I saw two differences from the usual scenario:

1. She tells me in detail what exactly came up;
2. Doing some background check on her reasons, they are all valid.

Life isn't real life; more accurately, life is absurd.

I've mentioned my 2nd to last ex which ended really poorly due to a bunch of reasons some beyond our control but I was a huge emotional beta at that time.

4 months ago, after not running into her for 1.5 years, we stopped at the same stop light which I detailed in the No Contact Thread

At that point, I was sexless for 13 months (12 of those months self imposed) and became extremely frustrated over the next 4 months putting in dozens of day game approaches mostly getting no where. As some of you may have read, things have changed quite a bit and I've improved (still a long way to go) and I've fucked 6 new chicks in 6 weeks.

So just as all this is happening, the ex mentioned above texted me this evening apologizing for how things ended and that she misses me and my family. She said she doesn't know if I'll get the message because she thinks I blocked her but she wanted to say sorry.

How the fuck does this actually happen. It's pretty humorous actually. Just as I start to get some momentum and can feel that I'm on the verge of breaking through, these girls know exactly when to come around.

I'm not sure if I'll reply. I'm not sure what to do really. So much damage has been done BUT I was never closer to someone than I was her and although she might have hid the crazy or our circumstances made her crack, she is closer to wife material than most of the girls out there.

Don't do it, from experience it will never be as good as the first time around and there will be additional problems that will surface as your feelings grow again, like jealousy over what she's been up to since.

Just because she's reaching out to you now and apologising, doesn't mean she truely thinks that and has realised her mistake.
She would have realised that before now.

I'm going to write this down to help me understand my own situation.

Currently have 2 FWBs who I meet every two to three weeks:
- #1 has been going on for almost a year. Cool, very cute, thick, naive 22 year old.

Two other girls are MIA:

Had some good results this weekend. Almost pulled a 7 from the bar on Friday and on Saturday I got a notch.

My game on Friday was good but something went wrong and I'm not sure. Here's a story I'm a little pissed about. I went to an Ab Soul show here with some buddies on friday night. The show is supposed to start at 8pm and it's 9 and nothing has started yet. I'm not sure I understand the bolded part. Some girls have liberal parents that don't care if they fuck. She wanted you to take her back to her place, and i'm positive she knew what was going to happen.

What would I have done? Get her to stay at the party with you and try for the bang there, and bring her back to her place when you were finished.

I definitely wouldn't lie and say we were getting an uber to her house when you actually are heading back to yours. That would scare the cat away really really fast.

Been on a tear the last week. 4 different girls
