RE: Colorado Police Bodyslam Sorority Girl
I saw this video posted on the "Police The Police" Facebook group.
Force is arguably excessive and like other posters pointed out, is probably the result of inadequate training system wide.
But the US is a police state and you should know better than to get in a cop's face or reach for something, or do anything other than keep your hands in plain sight and speak politely and clearly.
I've had some really interesting discussion with Thais about how the perception of the police is different for Thais than for Westerners.
For Westerners the cops are largely a nuisance because they are always trying to snare you doing something 'illegal' so they can get their quick bribe.
They set up traffic traps en route to the beach and just bang out 500 baht fines all morning and they're good for the month.
For the the average Thai that's a lot of money and the police harass their own equal to foreigners.
So naturally they complain about this corrupt system.
But what they don't realize is that back in the US, just because most cops won't take a bribe of petty cash that doesn't mean they aren't corrupt.
What corrupts more than money?
Power.
The police back home can and do harass you, pull you over just to fuck with you, give you bullshit tickets for going 10 miles over the speed limit, and justify their existence with a war on drugs (which, if drugs were legalized, would arguably liquidate most of the prison population and make much of law enforcement moot).
Well to be fair drugs will get you in a world of shit in Asia.
Don't even think about fucking with drugs in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia or Singapore.
But back to the cops:
If you argue with them they can beat your ass, tase you and even kill you and they get the benefit of the doubt.
I used to live in Florida and at any given time on the road every 10th car would be a cop car.
The amount of funding some police departments get is insane to me.
That's why they don't need your stupid cash bribes, their corruption is of a more clever and institutional nature.
I'm not a cop, I don't know a lot of cops, so I'm sure I don't know the whole picture (any law enforcement care to weigh in?) but I do know that I feel safer and freer on the streets here in Thailand which is a corrupt ass country through and through then I do in the US.

Ok. Don't complain when the cops think you're being resistant to their actions and do much worse because you are as big, or bigger than them.
I can't remember a time when the police ever thought I was resisting arrest. I also can't remember a time they threw me to the ground. There may be a correlation there somewhere.
The time to make your case for unlawful arrest is not during the arrest. Is there ever a time you're going to say, "No way, I'm not going with you!" and then the officers say, "Okay, you're right" and then they leave?
And let's not forget this part: "Michaella Surat was thrown to the ground outside Bondi Beach Bar in Fort Collins on Thursday night after allegedly hitting one of the officers."
That's a short video. We can't see what happened beforehand to make the officer arrest her.
Arresting does not equal taste concrete by means of a throw into it if the officer had any semblance of control over the situation or the perp.
That girl was not a threat. No one around him was a threat. he had back up. What is the justification and rationale behind face planting a woman based on the events we saw in the clip.
Nowhere in that clip did she warrant the action. She could be the biggest cunt in the world but right there and then there was no justification. If a cop does that under those circumstances I want to see him react to lethal violence or stressful situations and come out clean.
It is reported that she had already hit him and looks to be trying it again. What do you want him to do? Stand there and take it. Cops need to be rough with people when they cross the line into physical violence because otherwise they will become a target.
If people start seeing police do nothing when someone tries to hit them, dont you think they will lose authority and that it will encourage more dangerous people to attack them.
You think a police man wants you to think "Hey man, it's ok, come punch me in face, you have rights and I cant touch you"
This post made me laugh with its absurdness.
People are going to hit the polcie regardless. Do you even watch youtube videos, go out in the world and see it yourself?
People do things either through emotion or malice. She did it out of emotion and that makes it ok to do what he did?
Ok. Don't complain about police hurting someone else time and time again with overreactions because the police need to show them whose boss.
Lose authority to people who are private citizens, be they criminal or not? That works out so well when looking at murders of police worldwide!
Maybe the authority of the police is undermined by criminals because...ya know, they're criminals? its their job to do bad shit.
Private citizens fear the law if they do wrong. It costs them money, time and a rep. Criminals don't give a fuck.
But maybe this girl is a Mexican cartel sicario who cuts heads off for laughs for all I know. If she is seen to be slapping a police officer it might undermine the whole system!!!

Bosch said it a while ago, and I reluctantly agree. I just don't care about strangers so much anymore, and especially women I don't know.
Watching this video, I am hard wired to see it as wrong, as a man who instinctively wants to protect women, and as a basic moral person who doesn't like it when a large person throws around a small person. It doesn't seem fair.
Unfortunately, I am training myself not to care.
As men, our basic decency and noble instincts are being used against us, essentially turned into weaknesses.
All the identity groups that hate us count on us sticking to our values, women and feminists most of all. They are certain that no matter how much shit we get, if we get thrown into jail, or beat down in the street, we will endure it with dignity and patience, and we will take it on the chin when some crazy bitch on the street or in a supermarket abuses us verbally or even physically, and then, afterwards, we will patiently listen as some pansy tells us we should have handled it differently.
It pains me to feel this way, and I don't like it at all. I want to protect and respect women, and I want them to be grateful for it, and they are not. I once watched a video interview with a woman who was abusing her husband, and she said something like, "It just seemed like you could keep hitting and hitting and no one would ever hit back."
Doesn't that sum it up?
Women are out of control, and their white knights, and it is everywhere. They know they will be protected, and believed even when they lie, and they don't have the character to pull themselves together and do what is right.
So I watch videos like this and make myself not care. At this point, I am automatically trusting the man's judgement in a situation like this. I am believing him the same way that women say, "Believe the victim." I am assuming he had a good reason for what he did, and not second guessing him.
Sucks, but there it is.
I remember the exact moment this change in mentality happened. I was watching the Trump supporters during the run up to the election get chased down and beat like animals, and the cops standing by and doing nothing. (Different situation, they were under orders by their SJW chief of police to stand down.)
And I just thought, the rot is so deep, that the law only applies to people who have been culturally vetted, approved by the cultural gate keepers, that guess what. I am voting for Trump. I am not automatically following age old habits of giving strangers the benefit of the doubt, and protecting or helping women.
Let them learn from their mistakes. No free pass. No grace period. Nothing. I am a blank wall. You got yourself into it, get yourself out, and good luck.
It's like that.

Sort of funny. Some guys on the united thread say the dude should have just listened and the force was justifiable. Here girl didn't listen and some say the force was excessive. The circumstances do not match perfectly. But I find the reactions interesting. I am more sympathetic to the man in the united situation, who I am guessing, really did care about his patients and needed to see them the next day than a woman whose only value to society is she is young and not fat.
Edit: I think at least 90 percent of cops actually want to do good and try go help society. I do think we expect them to be perfect or else they will get sued. While people can be human, police cannot be.

Can't blame him. Women are equal nowadays right?
But seriously - cops deal with so much shit on a daily basis. I'm surprised cops didn't just give up and say "fuck it" in Chicago sooner. I find myself thinking at times why they even bother going into the bad neighborhoods around where I live since it's just a never-ending game of whack-a-mole. Because it's what they get paid to do I suppose, but you couldn't pay me enough to do what they do.
Just imagine dealing with drunk, dangerous, stupid, or uncooperative people all day everyday. And yet people all over the country sit back in the comfort of their homes and critique a slow motion video of your actions. Add to that the potential for a trial, having your face plastered on the news, death threats, BLM ambush, etc etc.
This is why cops are saying "fuck it." And this is why the very fabric of law and order in this country is threatened.

But that's what they signed up for. I don't understand why we give cops a pass. If a guy knowingly enters into a relationship with a crazy tatted-up slut, are you also going to say "it's crazy how much he puts up with"? No, you would hold him at least partially responsible.
But that's how deep cop and military worship runs here. A lot of people see them as saints.

RE: Colorado Police Bodyslam Sorority Girl
The wankers at McDonalds fuck up my order at least ten percent of the time. I don't care much and neither does anyone else because not much is on the line.
For cops, people care when they fuck up because often a lot is on the line but they are still human, just like the dickheads at McDonalds.
The trouble is that in the age of the internet people have developed a judge-jury-and-executioner mentality. A cop fucks up in one ten second video during his 20 years of service.
"Fucking gestapo!! Fire that prick!! This is why nobody trusts cops!! Raaaaah!!"
Give me a fucking break. There's a reason this cop's boss has a file with his name on it. Because it allows him to establish what sane people refer to as "a track record". That means if a judge is called to determine if the use of force was justified and finds out that inspector Roughstuff has been before the dock five times in the last two years that, yes, there's cause for concern. If officer Roughstuff only got that name because of his predilections in the bedroom and has a clean track record then then the judge can better make a determination that the drunk bitch just took a nasty spill and the officer was unlikely to be acting in an unreasonable manner.
But internet gurus hate little things like "track records" because they like to believe that a ten second video provides them with the infinite wisdom they need to mete out cosmic justice on the guilty party. Fuck knows why we have courts and evidence when apparently it's all a big waste of time. We could just show Rislander the clip and he can give the verdict before handing down a sentence for the evildoer and a settlement for the victim. All in fifteen seconds flat.
Judge Judy eat your heart out.

I look at it this way: There's good and bad in pretty much every group/profession/walk of life/etc.
Good doctors, bad doctors.
Good mechanics, bad mechanics.
Good priests, bad priests.
Good "x", bad "x".
Good or bad depends on your point of view.
As far as this one cop goes: Is he good or bad?
I'll end this post with this pearl of wisdom that one of my uncles (retired fireman) likes to say: "It takes 50 'attaboys' to make up for 1 'oh shit'!"
“….and we will win, and you will win, and we will keep on winning, and eventually you will say… we can’t take all of this winning, …please Mr. Trump …and I will say, NO, we will win, and we will keep on winning”.

There's some truth to the cop/military worship. I don't agree with it since we should always maintain some skepticism to authority.
However, what happens when no one, or not enough people, want to sign up anymore?
Sure, pay may go up. But with the way things are going less and less people are going to be willing to do it. Your career ending as a result of a 20 second video, going to trial and getting your face plastered on the news resulting in death threats just because you killed some retard that was trying to kill you, the BLM ambushes I mentioned earlier....
50-60 years ago, back when America was Great, cops jobs weren't nearly as difficult as they are now. There weren't nearly as many fucked up/dysfunctional/rude people, neighborhoods weren't as crime-ridden. But thanks to globalization, mass immigration, feminism, single motherhood, loosening of morals, etc here we are today. So what's the alternative? Probably some sort of consolidation of the police to the national level, and maybe later on the international level, along with some mandatory service in a far away place. Personally I prefer the current system over that, so I'll do what I can to prevent things from going in that direction.

Police careers don't end because of the twenty second video. They end because someone on the other side was seriously hurt or killed.
I want police that are held to higher standards then "some retard."
In the last three years, how many police shootings were actually because "some retard" was trying to kill a cop? How many of those killings could have been avoided with some better judgment on the police side of things?
White knighting for cops, and opposition to them are so far apart that there is no common ground anymore.
Its either "hey he was just doing his job, that's why he shot sixteen times" or its BLM supporters shooting cops with sniper rifles.
Something has to give with this shit.

The Michael Brown incident comes to mind.
Are there times that cops kill or hurt people that they shouldn't? Absolutely. There was an incident not too long ago where cops killed a man with Downs Syndrome. There was another where a guy was just standing there, cops told him to get on the ground, he didn't listen, so they shot him up. Neither of those received much media coverage (wonder why? ). One that did however was where a kid with a toy gun got shot.
But the fact of the matter is that "muh police brutality" is not some new phenomenon that has developed all of the sudden over the past few years. If the media didn't focus on it and politicize it we would not be having this discussion unless something happened personally to someone on here.
A logical explanation for what's going on is that as crime has increased over the past 50 years due to the causes I have listed in my previous post, the job for cops simply got harder. They don't know if the next guy that they pull over will try to kill them or not. When someone does something quick and/or aggressive they don't know what it's gonna be. In the end we have a survival instinct, and I don't care who you are but it's gonna kick in. As a result, these "police brutality" incidents are more common, and with camera phones they are more likely to be documented. Brutality that is the result of a power-hungry/racist/bad individual still happens and is unacceptable, but it is a very small percentage of the total and will always exist because we are human. To reiterate - something like that is unacceptable and should be punished, but is dwarfed by the larger issue at hand.
I absolutely agree that cops should not be "some retard." But guess what, the people who are intelligent enough to be good cops that make good judgement calls are smart enough to go into other career fields. If people and society keep telling you that you're "bad" and "oppressive" and openly threaten you, yet you're smart enough to go into a different career field, well, you're gonna do something else. How then will you attract smart, qualified people into this field?
To wrap it up: "police brutality" is not a cause, it's a symptom of our society. In reality it's not widespread and epidemic, the media just makes it look that way to push an agenda. There are much bigger problems that need to be fixed before we should start focusing on police brutality in of itself. Going after cops alone will lead us down a far worse path than what we have right now.
