Pretty much most of my super likes turned into matches, many into numbers and 1 into a bang/FB... so no harm in using it!
I've meet girls that said they don't get the point of super like and think it's thirst. I only use it every now and then when I see a girl that is 100% my type (doesn't have to be the best looking girl) or foreigners/out of province girls since I hate Montreal girls
@Heart Break Kid: I don't like thinking of it in terms of arbitrary scales, but here's a rough explanation.
If you are much higher than the woman in terms of SMV (e.g. she's a 6, you're a 10) a super like won't hurt you.
If you are on the same level or just a little bit higher (she's a 6, you're a 6 or a 7) a super like will give you a lower chance as opposed to a regular like.
If you are lower, the chance is close to 0.
Keep in mind that women rate the vast majority of men as "below average," so your personal assessment of your SMV might be different from hers.
While I wouldn't think of myself as an authority, I'd guess that super-likes indicate thirst for pretty much every woman using Tinder. That thirst can only be offset by you being much higher in terms of SMV (which can vary from place to place, one might be a 9 in their small town but a 4 in NYC; in the latter case, super likes are almost never worth it).
To put things in perspective: Right now, I'm pretty much "below average" in NYC, where I live. My set of pictures is pretty mediocre - two consisting of me standing on a nighttime street, 1 sitting next to this sort of cute Norwegian girl at a bar, 1 close-up in the daytime on a college campus. On top of that, while I'm not repulsive, I'm a Filipino guy with a proportionally large head whose facial features don't translate well to the camera (I think I should have been more careful in how I angled my face when they were taken, I look pretty good in the mirror but a lot worse on camera).
I've had my current Tinder account since last week. Since then, I have given out around 20 super likes so far, some on girls I wouldn't even care to approach in-person (to see if they would match back). I haven't had any match from a super like yet. My ROI from regular likes has only been 2 legit matches, and a dozen bots, out of hundreds of swipes. My ELO rating probably plummeted in the meantime, so I'm going to have to wait and see how well I do over the next few weeks. I did a Tinder Boost today (a Sunday, at 8pm), and received absolutely 0 matches back. My ELO rating is probably so low that Boost isn't helping whatsoever, but I might receive more matches if I just wait it out for a few weeks.
Side-note: Earlier, I posted about the idea that setting your profile to look for men can help boost your ELO rating. In my previous Tinder profile, it had negligible effect within the timespan of two days, and I got impatient, so I just went ahead with creating a new account. Honestly, I think it's better to just create a new profile once a month or so, using throwaway emails to create new Facebook profiles (I've never found any use in seeing that I'm mutual FB friends with girls I want to bang). If anyone wants to know how to go about doing this, pm me.
Edit: Here's another side-note. Months ago, I made a Tinder profile for a tall-ish (5'11, listed as 6'0), somewhat fit, well-dressed white friend with decent pics (a couple of which featured cute Yorkies). That profile got some return on investment when it came to super likes. IIRC, around 10%, using up 5 each day for a couple months. None of them were incredibly hot, to my memory, but definitely decent.
He had a pretty nice amount of matches. I helped him lose his virginity by messaging the girls for him to set things up, though he often fucked up in person.

I know some woman think super likes show thirst, though it's probably a crap shoot in terms of figuring out which woman thinks that and doesn't.
Yes, they are worth using. They aren't supposed to be used for the purpose of showing that you think the girl is super hot. Instead they are a way for you to get to the head of the line with a specific girl so she does in fact see your profile. Most girls don't swipe all day or very much at all, so the purpose of the super like is to put you in front of her so she can decide.
Girls that think super likes are signs of thirst are just retards.
I would say about half of my super likes turn into matches, and from there they respond at a rate similar to a regular match.
My strategy for using super likes is usually to use them on foreign girls so I can get a new flag. I rarely use them because I think the girl is really hot.
Tinder Boost success varies. I don't think it has anything to do with ELO. For example, I have nearly 4k matches but sometimes I'll run a boost in NYC and only get 5 matches. Other times I get 20-25.
When boost first came out last fall, I was getting 50-75 matches per boost. I'd be impressed if people are still getting those results now.
I don't think it's ELO hurting us; it's simply tinder using the algorithm to its financial advantage.
To anyone who who views Tinder as possibly being dead these days
While you may be correct in that it is no longer as popular and easy-to-use in comparison to its heyday, I highly recommend deleting your current profile, and making a new account. You might have swiped so much that your ELO rating is equal to that of a bot, which means you aren't even shown to the girls nearby.
Also, you get second chances with girls who left-swiped you on your original account, and benefit from the greater visibility given to new accounts.
Here are the steps I've taken:
1. Go to your current FB profile for the Tinder profile you use.
2. Click "Settings" (it's right above the 'Log out' option)
3. Go to the Apps section
4. Remove Tinder
5. Go to your Tinder account, and delete it.
6. Use this website to create a new fake FB account: http://www.throwawaymail.com/
7. Fill out College and Workplace details if you wish. Consider liking a bunch of pages that attractive girls like (pages pertaining to makeup, fancy clothing stores, etc), as well as any interests you might want matches to share. Also, if you're over 30, consider setting your age to be in the 20s.
8. Use this FB profile to create a new Tinder profile.
9. Add the same pics you had in the previous profile, or use this as an opportunity to start fresh with even better pics
10. Swipe conservatively. I recommend right swiping 5 profiles, waiting a day, then do what I describe below.
11. A technique you can use to optimize swiping is to set your profile to be within the range of only 1 mile. If any profiles get displayed that somehow are farther away than a mile, that is a definitely a girl who has already right-swiped you. This is a bit harder to implement in NYC where I live, but once you get to the point where it says that "There is no one near you" this is a good way to swipe without letting your ELO rating suffer.
Unfortunately the universally beloved Chrome extension Flamite for chrome was shutdown by the lawyers at Tinder.
Really sad as it showed things like when a chick was last online (that tinder got rid of) and you could see all 5 photos at once. Not to mention its so much easier to type on a keyboard, when you type fast and a lot its so much easier to manage a lot of matches.
Anyways, Many knockoffs have already shown up, i'm recommending Tind3r works almost the same, though Tinder will probably shut that down too and eventually remove the ability for chrome extensions to communicate with Tinder but for now lets continue to enjoy.

HORRIBLE damn fucking news
Thanks for the replacement. I couldn't do Tinder without Flamite or something familiar though.
EDIT: It actually looks even better than Flamite was. Thanks dude
I was kind of just shocked to be honest. I asked her if it was good and we exchanged a little banter but in the end I failed to get the number.
I probably don't want to be around someone lacking that much tact anyway, and I feel like I definitely failed a shit test. Pretty big wtf moment for me, felt a little disrespected but decided to play it cool anyway. For some reason I feel bad about it; like I should've been offended and not have bothered. It's not often i feel like I compromise my integrity - for anything or anyone. I wasn't that thirsty I just fucked a girl 3 hours prior. These are things I'm going to have to ponder on alone later. Not in my wildest dreams would I ever think a tinder girl would be the catalyst to some soul searching and a source of humbling. Live and learn I guesd
But from a game standpoint, was there a right way to respond?
Always ignore the bf/fianc茅/husband/etc. If she still brings him up, reframe, "I'm not a bf material" or a version of that and proceed as normal. If she still keeps mentioning him, either go caveman if you can to find out if she walks the talk or next and save time.
@ Eugenics- She looks like a SIF anyway; So the winning response to that is not to respond at all.
Also- you might want to blurt out her face and name for anonymity in the future. It's part of the rules here and for good measure (I was called out recently by a girl about posting here, my own fault though).
Derived from chess- it's a rating system for calculating the relative skill level of participants (in reference to Tinder's algorithm). The more swipes you carry out per day (where a match isn't made) the lower your score drops, moving you closer to bot status. Was curious if your ELO is impacted when left swiping a girl or if she blocks/unmatches you.

Well it depends. As you said, play it cool if you still want to see the chick. The DONT'S: Talk about the BF, ask why is she in Tinder, or say you just banged another girl, that shows you are trying hard to demostrate your value.
Options are a) Ignore that and continue flirting as if nothing happened and get the date, b) Agree and amplify: "Sweet, did you record any video?" , "Damn, I am now having 3some fantasies with you" , o something like that, you guys have better ideas.
I've noticed that deleting matches where the convo went dead usually leads to several new matches.
It seems to me Tinder is putting an effective cap on matches at around 10-15 if you're conversing with 4-5 of them. Which, to be honest, is more than I can handle. I have to turn off my phone or I just end up procastinating by going for more matches (dopamine hit).

The Tinder auto swiper is done now since Tinder was going to sue him.

What would you consider going caveman in this scenario?

My bad I didn't even think about it, I usually do.

I should've used the "sweet did you record any video?" line. Shows that you don't care and you're attracted still. I think I fucked up and got a little salty - not through words but in tone.
This isn't the first time women that I'm trying to bang or am banging openly talked about fucking other dudes in front of me. I don't like it, I know it happens - but I don't like it. It gives me a shitty feeling of being disrespected and I always feel like it's a test; which I seem to fail every time. I'll work on it.

This is awesome. Does anybody know an easy way to stalk your Facebook friends of Tinder? This guy made it possible to bring up your Facebook friends on a whim and swipe them and see their last online, but it requires some serious computer knowledge that I don't have.
