An interesting point
- if you're in town for the weekend, chick is not trying to get pumped and dumped
- if you live there, you lose points for a different set of reasons - like the novelty wears off.

I'm wondering if the sweet spot is, I just moved here?

WIA

The sweet spot is to say you've been there a relatively short amount of time but are established there (so you can appease her pump and dump fears) So I tend to say 1 -2 years. (I am still testing this).

This gives the girl enough confidence to think that you are staying for a while but not quite long enough to have fully grasped the language and customs and once again force her to speak English.

The pump and dump fears are real and need to be addressed.. I met a VERY interested girl on Tinder the other day and she unmatched me super fucking quick when i told her I only lived a hour or so away. WTF!

This ain't the main board where you can't ask the same question over and over again. We've been beating the dead horse of money vs game for years now. (Game obliterates all, period, end of discussion...until it starts again, *laughing*)

How a good date should go, depends on what you want
1) For yourself as a man
2) From the chick (to get to know her, to make out, bj, one-on-one sex, orgy, sleep with other guys to make you money..)

If we're talking vanilla sex -

It's easier to pull a Kirdiesel than it is to meet a girl during the night

Than

1) Get her # and
2) Contact her and start a conversation and
3) Get her to agree to the date and
4) Get her to actually show up and
5) Finally work your magic.

Goes to back to the beginning.

When you get the #, she's IN LOVE.
When you text the next day, "Who's this mf'er blowing up my phone?"

So how well the DATE goes, starts way back with the # pull.

WIA

Is there any way to make a # pull effective given the realities of women changing their emotions from day to day?

The ways I go around that:
-Always go for the pull that night. Don't settle for the number. Assume you will never see her again.
-If you have to get the number, text her when she gives you the number with something like "sexy guy from the bar" so that she laughs and more importantly has your number.
-Most important thing is to setup the data when you first meet her. Setup the date, then get the number
-Text her within 1-2 days. I don't believe in the 3 day rule anymore. By day 3, she has forgotten about you.

@Iso, yes and for $49.97...

I don't know if this is deeper game, but in general a player is trying to make a deep mental/emotional impression from the very beginning.

The story you want her to tell is "I just met this guy"

So in practice, it's trying to do and say things that are not typical.

For me, if it's the middle of the day, and in dressed to impress,

"You ever wonder what this is all about?
I love this suit, but do I really love it or am I just brainwashed?"

A chick is 98% unsure of what I just said, but the tone and the topic are more than enough for her to jump in on. She has to think a smidge not a whole lot.

Her even thinking is investment.
Her wanting to answer is investment.
Her responding is falling into my frame, if even for just a second.

And what I'm saying, basically advertises the type of dude I am.

So I'll just start a convo like that with a random.

What is going on at a deeper level is that the mind likes puzzles, it likes the pleasure of solving them. Just like the mind finds patterns, prefers narratives, you can get a chick not only into the conversation, but her wondering what you're going to say next.

Let's take that concept
- she wants to solve a puzzle
- she wants to be mentally engaged

And go non verbal.

There's a viral clip with a guy walking down a sidewalk in the city dribbling a basketball. I think he's wearing full basketball regalia,, like in costume.

Other people are walking in the other direction. So street Jordan challenges them to take the ball from him, just my doing some quick dribbles in front of them. Most avoid him, some engage. They try to steal the ball from him.

So the moral of the story is black guys need to carry basketballs!

The really sharp guy sees the parallels between the impromptu deep discussion or the street basketball versus what the tried and true that you've relayed to us.

Seriously, two things
1) truly engage the chick
2) think deeper about what you're doing

Most guys have these mechanical rules that work fine, until they don't. It's like dating app of the week is great until it's not. A step above addition and subtraction, say fractions, but you could be doing symbolic math.

I didn't even bother reading past the first couple of posts. Are you really surprised? YT doods are victims now. It's why you're seeing mass populusim around the world. All of sudden, being a YT man isn't enough anymore. You have to actually have substance associated with what you were born with. Oh the humanity!

Just wanted to give you guys another reason not to let online gaming stress you out...

I went out a couple of weekends ago and rolled with this hoe I knew from years ago. My friends bailed on me so I just felt awkward going by myself. I used to like going out solo but not so much anymore. Anyway, so I figured she'd be desperate to get out since she never does anything anyway and she was down...well fast forward we go back to my place and I smash and then I talk to her for a lil bit and we start discussing Tinder. She opens the app up and she has 247 matches just sitting there and I'm thinking to myself what's the point lol. Not only that, I end up waking up in the middle of the night to do some work and her phone is blowing up. Crazy. And she doesn't even look all that.

Also, when you guys go out are you approaching girls that look like they're having a good time or ones just standing there? I went to this new spot and I approached two girls that were kind of just standing there not doing much and didn't get good results at all. I'm wondering if that was my mistake.
DimeBait 路 2017-03-07 16:21:00 路 #4835
Yea, man the Internet has given ordinarily simpish men the courage and ability to spit at bishes they couldn't muster up the strength to spit at IRL. I see straight-up Wolfs on FB and IG posting selfies and simp-ass dudes are in the comment sections dropping adjectives like "gorgeous" "queen," and "beautiful." It's to the point where extra-ordinary bishes really thinking they extraordinary!

Interacting with folks with negative vibes and/or body language is hit or miss. Sometimes they turn out to be cool, sometimes they have a shitty personalty to match their shitty attitude.
WestIndianArchie 路 2017-03-07 16:40:00 路 #4836
@Jayesco

You did the right thing by approaching.
If you keep your step up *straight social*, you can come back when the alcohol kicks in.

This used to be a full on style, talk to everyone at 11, halfway befriend, then assume friendship @12:30 then go hard. Vague memory + better mood, easier pull

The real danger of the dead set is that it makes the player self conscious.

But even Dave Chappelle bombs.

You have to get used to neutral to negative reactions but still keep your outlook. The emotional downward spiral is ever present.

Two things happen when you only approach the happy groups.

You could turn them negative
Sometimes the finest chick in the spot is not "socially" available. That could be your baby mama though.

Funny as hell. Barely happens where I am at.

Interesting Sweden was mentioned as one of the places this is happening. I gotta see it with my own two eyes to believe it. However, I have noticed that changing my style to something more "street" has got the chicks a little bit more interested/curious from the jump.

I know alot of guys debate clothes as having little effect on your game but I feel like the dynamic shifts as opposed to when I am wearing a suit.

Online game sucks to all hell but its a necessary evil nowadays. Either get good at it or lose opportunities. Cause these girls are meeting up with the guys and sleeping with them and if you aren't in the game you can't win.

If the Viet girls in the states love American dudes then I think it's all still good out there. Problem is making sure to get the hot ones. There's an easy 50/50 divide on really hot vs really ugly with Viet chicks. Rarely meet one in the middle.

@thehigh - my definition of street might be a bit different to the next guy.

I mean an edgier look.

Converse not Js

Black dickies with a chain on the pocket.

Beads bracelet or leather one.

Fitted tees, usually a v-neck or might be a deep v.

Chunky scarf in winter with a fake shearling bomber.

Clothes are always fitted, never baggy.

@WalkingMan,

Man, if I got a dollar for every time I have been asked that while outside North America. I get asked about my roots so often that I have started to think that I am a fucking tree, it's as if people don't know that black people have been in the US longer than most whites (we actually outnumbered white people at one point in the 17th century), but I digress...

Like you I have some Haitian lineage as well but I was born and raised in America, and besides my love for Haitian food, I don't really have a connection with Haiti. The same goes for my other Caribbean roots. The American identity can really be all-consuming but it seems to be a point of interest for people outside of North America, especially other black people.

As part of my final semester at uni I am part of a consultant group that is advising a global supply chain management company on how to modernize their business through data/tech innovations. During my research I have realized that big data/IT is the way of the future, not only for individuals but also for Multinational enterprises. I don't have much tech expertise but I would be interested in gaining any knowledge or certifications that might help me to profit from this upcoming paradigm shift.

I do. Let me know what questions you have.

@Joga
If you don't mind disclosing it here, what is your area of expertise?

What's been the most prevalent trend that you have already noticed, or most predicted for the nearby future?

Also, I would like to gain some certification/education on IT/big data, something I can leverage for a paycheck. Any suggestions for which path I should choose? The MBA I want to pursue has a minor focus in technology and innovation management, so I would like to complement that with tech certifications.

I'm on the operations side of things, with a bit of implementation of various storage platforms thrown in. From a cloud computing perspective the biggest trend(s) will be companies being comfortable moving a good chunk of their critical workloads from traditional data storage platforms to different cloud platforms like AWS, Azure and Openstack. They were doing this before, but it will accelerate to an all time high this year. It's finally being seen as a stable and more secure solution(although still very vulnerable) and even the government is starting to adopt usage of the cloud. As a result, you'll see more cloud providers trying to standardize and automate their security measures and integrate them into their offerings.

There's a ton of certifications that you could take, but since cloud is basically a convergence of many moving parts you should first spend time learning about the fundamentals. These aspects include networking, storage, virtualization, automation and scripting/container technology, and operating systems. Theoretically you could hop right in with the cert, but without the underlying knowledge you wont be as effective as you could be, if you want a technical gig. Which leads me to this, what capacity do you want to work in? Cloud developer, Cloud administrator, cloud architect? For Big Data, are you a math/stats whiz and love programming? This will largely determine what you will need to learn. Since you are getting an MBA do you even want to be technical? Another route you could take is getting a PMP, and trying to latch on with a cloud provider or managed services provider who deploys cloud solutions. Whats your technical background and aspiration career wise? This will help me tell you the best cert and career path to go after. Generally speaking though, AWS is the largest and most pervasive cloud platform and you can see their certifications here:

Both. You just have to pull them into your world with your body language, touch, and eye contact.
I was in San Antonio this last weekend and I was getting blown out left and right. I eventually made my way out of the cover bars onto the riverwalk and ran into these sexy ass latinas. One was totally into me and practically gave me a lap dance at one of the bars while people watched.

In my experience, looking more prep works.

In China, dressing like a thug is a great way to be alone. They watch the videos and think black men are thugs, so you don't wanna play up that stereotype if you wanna get laid with anything other than a nigger chaser who has been through all of the african population in Guangzhou.

Nah, I mostly wear athletic wear. H&M V-neck, chinos and sneakers or boots. I own some shoes and nicer apparel but I rarely feel like busting that shit out since I'm just going to sweat through it all.

It gets way too fucking hot for me to even consider being suited up. Some dudes can rock it, but I literally sweat through everything. I'm bald, so sweating all day makes my head look like a bowling ball and it isn't pretty.

You can (and should) go suited up in a place like HK, but you will still sweat like hell in my opinion. I might just be a sweaty guy though, ha.

If you rock the suited look, your best bet is to stay put until night time when it's a bit cooler and then take a taxi to your hunting ground of choice.
