Gentlemen, the things you enjoy in life should not feel laborious. Start with what makes you happy, what brings your joy, then expand from there. The "game" is just a means to an end. Networking, meeting new folks and expanding your social/professional circle.
For example, next time you take a bish out, don't think "what would this bish like" instead think, "what do I want to do that would be fun for me with her."
I used to be placator, but now I generally don't give af. You can put tons of effort into a bish only to have her go radio silent anyway fuk that! Just do you.
This American Dream I keep hearing about is nothing more than a facade. It's the reason our divorce rate has surpassed 60%. You're number one goal in life should be personal fulfillment. Everything else comes secondary.
The "is it even worth it" dilemma is will get you know where fast.
We are all on our own paths, yes, but when you get all existential about game, you'll always ultimately tell yourself it's not worth it.
But if you've never experienced high level game, how do you know it's not worth it?
if you haven't smashed that ten, how do you know that you wouldn't want more?
I've gone thru the same feelings, and it helps to know that there are people like rudebwoy and WIA and others out there. Let them be your model.
The very fact that you have to put in work to learn game makes the struggle worth it.
Just go at your own pace. Yes you can super accelerate thru game by going to the club every weekend, but maybe that's not the best learning environment for you.
Take a dance class or an acting class. The fundamentals are still the same. WIA has a post full of recommendations on how you can spend your money if you're not feeling the clubs for now.
Surely there are some activities that you enjoy that womend tend to frequent.
That's not to say it'll be enjoyable to try game in a dance class. you'll still go through approch anxiety, blowouts, etc...
But if going to a "class" makes the process more fun for you, then why not do it that way? we all rationalize the choices we make.
Basically if you don't want to go to the club, theb don't...but if you wanna learn game, you definitely have to socialize!

So with the general consensus still being get out asap, is it even worth it for those of us without the US passport to stay here and slug it out for 5-7 yrs and become naturalized? I got a Caribbean passport that gives me access to most of EE and the important areas of SEA, excluding Thailand. Would still be nice to have access to Japan and a few other good spots that the US Passport offers. Been working in the US for a while but said fuck it, went abroad and got caught up with how much better it is pretty much any where else other than the US. Now I'm about to break the 'continuous residency' requirement to accept a nice job offer in Asia, which will burn that bridge to US naturalization. I do keep my green card though. As long as I make a trip back to the US every year or so. What y'all think?
definitely still worth it to "go out", imo. if you can game in the states, then you can game anywhere
also, a trip to kenya would be dope. go on a safari, look at some lions and shit. sun bathe in the savanna!
edit: then again you have dudes that hve never been to the states that know game so....idk maybe i'm not the best person to listen to.
@Advent Persona - the decision is yours to make, I say go where the money is.
What do you lose from not getting a US passport?
What is the quality of life in Asia? We did a show with VP and he spoke about people clearing their throats and spitting inside restaurants in China, I am sorry but that would gross me out to no end.
As BasketBounce stated, if you can game in the States(Canada) then the rest of the world is easy mode.
To answer some of the questions:

For those of us in STEM/TECH fields with sought-after skill sets, the money would always be in the US/Canada. This is strictly speaking of the kind of salary you can demand.

I would say the only thing lost is your ability to spend an indefinite time abroad without having to worry about losing permanent residency in the US. And the only benefit of having the passport being having direct access to that much more countries.

I guess that would be certain areas in mainland china but those of us who has been around them regions know that Hong Kong, Japan and China are completely different. Hong Kong locals even generally look down on mainlanders, so quality of life is still highly dependent on where you decide to set up shop in Asia.

I'm sure you guys would know what's the real deal and what's pretend.
Rude, you've been to Jamaica. How is the country of Jamaica?
NewDayNewFace - yeah I am ashamed to say I have only been once and that was a decade ago. I am suppose to go this year to check my roots, but I don't see that happening.
Jamaica is a beautiful country. Nice beaches, affordable and the people are generally chilled.
Out of the 30 plus countries I have been too, I still say it has the best food I have tasted.
The only question mark is the safety, I mean most tourists don't incur problems when they go. Then again I am sure you wont venture too far from the resort.
I tend to hit up Barbados more, not that great for women though. I am sure Moma would beg to differ. lol
Nothing can touch DR or Cuba in terms of women, quantity and quality.
Maybe we need to arrange a meet-up in DR for this year!
I was in Iceland in December, that I recommend but it is costly.
I have been invited to Hong Kong next month for business, but I am hearing it is a racist place. I also don't fancy that 15 hour flight in economy.
Good looks on the info Rude.
If you guys have a meetup anywhere in the western world I'm definitely down for that. I've been to DR twice last year and it was shorties all day every day. Loved it!
Gotta do some research on Cuba but if it's popping then I definitely need to go.
^No research needed on Cuba, just go.
Can you Americans fly direct now?
If I ever went back I would hit up Santiago, seems like there are more darkies there and not too many tourists hit that side.
I'd definitely be down for a quick DR getaway. Been hearing some nice things about the place from friends who've visited and bought property there.

Rude, I just got back from HK and I can't recommend it. You'll experience lots of racially-driven resistance there with the local Hong Kong girls them. Interestingly enough, while on the prowl most of my positive feedback came from mainland girls, especially from Shenzhen. There is a niche there that brothas can take advantage of, with the large quantity of filipina domestic workers working there if that's your kinda thing but differently though, can't be recommended for hunting. Good for business though, and very good infrastructure.

Americans can now fly direct to Cuba. Tourist visa costs 50 bucks. I like lizards from BIM, my track record is very pleasing to me with that region. Jamaica is very nice too, people were very chill. They might even be nicer to you being a foreigner, you really have no safety issues unless you are some shotta.

I went to Santiago and was severely disappointed. The average is darker there but the talent was seriously lacking. Most of the tourists in Santiago were older European couples. I'm not a huge fan of Salvador in Brazil but I would highly recommend it over Santiago de Cuba if you are looking for a city with Afro Latin culture. Cuba is a headache in and of itself, even more so for Americans that have issue withdrawing money, entry, etc.
@azulsombra - Thanks for that, I guess that is off my list.
Bahia has always been very high on my list and will be crossed of my list one of these days.
I am a bit hot and cold on Brazil, there seems to be a type of racism there I don't like. I don't want to beat that R word to death, I usually ignore that type of thing.
Does the poverty in some of these places bother any of you guys?
I was in DR and one of the resort workers took me to his "house". The usual barrio deal with zinc roof, I was like fcuk me mate.

In my travels to Mexico, I was always slightly taken aback traveling two & from our multi-million dollar resorts through some of the worst looking slums i've seen. Seemed like everyone else in our groups didn't blink an eye, but unfortunately, it makes me feel some sorta way.
I've always wondered how that plays out with a majority of international travelers who find it difficult to ignore extreme poverty.
What about Cancun? You guys ever hit that up in a a march?
I went last year in April but I believe I missed spring break. The Airbnb was a little bit further from the clubs (25 min) so logistics wasn't the greatest but I sure did club a lot and got a Asian chick that was staying next door.

Some game benefits everybody. Anyone can be aided by learning the fundamentals and trying to improve on them. What's at issue is the extent to which that investment goes. I'm saying that a very high investment (which, for some, is a very arduous and not especially enjoyable endeavour to make) to reach a very high level isn't worth it for every individual, especially if that individual is not especially dead-set on the kind of women (mostly American) for which reaching that level is advantageous.
Doggedly insisting that the investmet is worth it for everybody, I think, just misses the point.
Quote:But if you've never experienced high level game, how do you know it's not worth it?
Because I know what investment I have to make in order to engage in that level of game, and I personally don't like that price. I also know the reward for that investment, and I don't think it is worth it. The cost-benefit analysis doesn't work for me.
Quote:if you haven't smashed that ten, how do you know that you wouldn't want more?
I don't need "high level game" to have sex with very attractive women. I don't need high level game to find far more consistent success in appealing to attractive women than I have had so far here in the United States. That's the point.
Quote:I've gone thru the same feelings, and it helps to know that there are people like rudebwoy and WIA and others out there. Let them be your model.
In some sense, they are. That's doesn't mean we're the same. Paths can and will differ from those whose advice and wisdom you value.
Quote:The very fact that you have to put in work to learn game makes the struggle worth it.
No, it does not. Something is not automatically worthwhile merely because one must put work in for it. High cost does not necessarily equal worthwhile benefit.

Been there, done that.
C'mon, man. This almost sounds like you're talking to some dude who just registered and literally just discovered all of this.
I've been here for 7 years and I've been reading relevant material for close to 8. My opinion has been made on the basis of trial and error - this is experience talking, and that experience is not liking the cost-benefit analysis so far
for me.
Maybe the equation is different for you, and that's fine, but we're not all the same. And maybe we should start recognizing that.
What are we doing? What do we want? What are we getting? Is it worth it?
(02-08-2017 10:17 AM)rudebwoy Wrote: @Excelsior - I want to say thank you for such a great post and keeping it real.
I get the sense most guys on here don't enjoy the game to the extent of Archie. I certainly don't but I realize like any other game, you have to stay sharp and keep practising.
Like you rightly said, it is no coincidence that game is heavily discussed with guys living in America and Canada. We never see travel threads about how guys slayed 7 girls in 7 nights in ANY city in North America.
I hope you are not defeated, you are much too young to be thinking that way. After all, you have some yard man blood in you and those guys never quit.
As for girls in this part of the world, they aren't even worth the squeeze. I could go on and on about the sweet girls I have met on my travels, the biggest cockblock was the lack of time I had in certain places.
Keep grinding my friend, as WE both know you aren't alone and the majority of guys on this forum probably feel the same way you do.
I'm not defeated. There's a lot of life ahead of me, far too much to just give up now.
But that's the point. It's not about giving up, it's about maximizing the value of that life I have left. It's about recognizing that maybe the strenuous investment in "high level game" I've been struggling to make all this time (despite no real proclivity for it) isn't the best fit for me and my goals. Its about the fact that maybe the reward I've been chasing all of this time isn't worth it, maybe there's better elsewhere, maybe I can obtain that "better elsewhere" using methods that are more enjoyable to me, and maybe I should change my behavior accordingly to increase my odds of contentment. And maybe life's too short for me not to start doing this now.
As you said, you could go on and on about the girls you met from abroad and their quality. Time was your limitation.
Maybe I'm better off investing in ways and means with which to remove that time limitation for myself than I am struggling to learn the psychological warfare and almost jedi-level mind tricks necessary to find consistent success with women here who, frankly, are seeming to me like less and less of a real worthwhile "reward" for all that effort.
And maybe I'm not the only one who should consider that.
You're not the only one.
I'm glad there are others who have questioned the white "queen" mentality that permeates the Anglosphere. Any bitch that says any racist or supremacist or condescending shit, even in the heat of sexual passion, I'd walk out mid-nut.Trust.
Ain't no woman worth more than my self respect.

It's been a while since I hit up Cuba, but if memory serves the darkest/ blackest looking chicks I remember there were from Guantanamo, and Camaguey.

Addis is not that bad to be honest. But a couple bucks more gets me to Thailand, and a few less to Berlin and Rio.
Bogota looking like I could do that on a long weekend, lol.
Since I got y'all here.
You pick a city/country - how much time do you spend there?
Minimum - 3 days?
A good sense of the place in a week? 2 weeks?
WIA
It depends. If you are in Europe, 3 days per spot works. You can see everything in the city within 3 days. Also you can easily travel to many other great cities within a 200 mile radius. If you are doing a European trip, you should go to 2-3 countries. If you are outside of Europe, 1 week per spot should do it especially in Latin America or East Asia.
In general, you want to do at least 1 weekend in a spot. Go to the party destinations during the week (Berlin, Budapest, etc.) and go to the slower places (Scandinavia, Estonia, etc.) during the weekends.
