Did you swipe right too much? Mass swiping lands you in bot purgatory and your profile won't even show up to women or it will only show up on other profiles in bot purgatory (bots, fat/ugly/trans women, etc)

Believe it or not the bar is actually set that high right now with tinder in the U.S. All it takes is a few hundred 8+'s, celebrities, models, and athletes in a major city to occupy the interest of thousands of women. Something new and better will come take it's place eventually. I've left it for dead. Some type of instagram like app with a dating spin will replace its popularity I think. Or instagram itself.

I think for average looking guys with game, everything will start to funnel to international game. Which is why I've directed my focus this year instead to getting my finances to the point where I can generate passive income and travel the world and game full time. No point in wasting my time gaming women I have no real attraction for. I'd rather position myself to get access to 7's and 8's with LTR potential abroad a few years from now in cities with favorable ratios rather than devote a lot of time to get ONS with 4's and 5's here and there.

The point I was trying to make... a 2nd tier city in the USA like Houston or Charlotte won't come close to 8+ girl attainability and city value for what you can get somewhere outside of the USA.

I hate to nitpick but medium sized cities, second tier doesn't not describe Chicago or Houston. They're the #3 and #4 largest cities in the US! Dallas is top ten. Medium sized city would be Minneapolis or New Orleans.

I wasn't lumping Chicago and Miami with the others (I was separating those as being dense, walking cities with perfect logistics) but you're right. Houston and Dallas are definitely large cities. Actually, Charlotte and Minneapolis are the only ones I listed that would probably be considered medium, since they're outside the top 10 in terms of metropolitan area population.

I was referring to cities like Houston and Charlotte as 2nd tier cities in terms of women quality not in size.

LA is the worst city I've ever been for online. I get better results visiting my grandma in rural oregon. I still match with a lot of hotties (wilhemia/ford models) but getting them out is a joke. A theme that's happened more often over the last 2 years, and occurs nearly half the time I number close, is a girl asking for my social media. I fought it for a while and had an arsenal of Heartiste comebacks but it's an uphill battle. These girls have enough options that they can afford to make you jump through that hoop. I really advise LA guys, if you're adamant about online dating, to have a great IG page. This is also helpful to stay on her radar for the lull time post number close, as you'll rarely set up a date in under a week.

I've seen you poking around a lot of LA online dating threads recently. It's been said for a while but online is rough here. You know this. Max out your pictures. Try a few sites/apps. You're a 7/10 or maybe you're just ugly? 7/10 is universally quite attractive. I'd rate myself a 7-7.5/10. I get opened every few nights out. I have ~300 unopened matches here. Yes, tinder flagging is real. Change locations frequently, talk to all your matches, and discriminate when swiping to improve it. Get new pictures and re-start your account (delete it from facebook and make sure your phone number isn't linked). But like I told Naughty, relying on tinder, especially to a point of exclusivity, in LA is a fool's game. Social circle is king here and you're way better off expanding yours than swiping for a night.

Daygame, Nightgame, Online game, you name it. They're all brutal out here in LA.

I had DRAMATICALLY better results doing nothing but daygame out in NYC and Chicago (typically 8 dates/month vs. 2 dates/month out here...although with online under my belt now, that should increase to roughly 4/month in LA). This city is a pussy purgatory.

Depends. Are you in good shape? You could do a shirtless body pic of you playing volleyball or some other activity which requires you to be shirtless.

However in most circumstances it's probably best to do a headshot...especially if you have good facial aesthetics. These women are just going through profiles and swiping left/right on a split second decision.

I would mix it up and you can switch it back and forth to see what works best. Definitely have a variety on there though to maximize your matches.

I just casually took one of my girl's phone and opened tinder. As a man, I am not getting enough matches so I was curious. Then I took a look at her inbox. She has around 61 messages in her inbox(she's hot). DAMN! every single idiot is using one-liners. Most of them are really good and are similar to the ones we posted here on this forum.

EDIT: Another important thing is that we will automatically stand out. Even if she denies, remember that she "replied" to you. That means you've got her attention. We can then run online game on her because she's already hooked.

Forgive me for not reading through 200+ pages for a breakdown of super likes and boost, but I'd like to share what has been working for me.

Use your super likes on extremely young cute girls, 18-19, maybe 20.

The reason for this is because if your tinder age is too high out of her search criteria, you won't even show up for her to swipe.

These women have no idea what they want, and some 18 year old girl could have selected 18-25 as her range when your profile is 27, 37 or whatever. She would never even see you.

A super like bypasses her search criteria. I have matched and had success more than once doing this.

Boosts are a little trickier, it depends on where you're at in the world. A Sunday 7-9pm boost may be a safe bet, but I've had the best results in Kiev with a 10pm Saturday boost shockingly. Test and adjust accordingly.

Guys, I have a technical problem with Tinder.

I signed up for tinder plus for a month to change my location and pipeline. It worked well for the first few days, got a decent number of matches, but then it just stopped finding new girls. Every time i open it it gets stuck on "finding new people near you".

I tried everything I could think of: changed locations, age limits, search radius, logged on and off tinder, uninstalled and reinstalled app and logged back on. Nothing works. If I press the "skip the line" thing which is a tinder plus feature I can use once a week, I get a few new matches and then again stuck on "finding new people near you".

Is there anything that I can do? I already have quite a few matches, so I don't want to wipe out this Tinder account completely and start from 0. especially while I'm paying for Tinder Plus.

This has been discussed here. It is a good idea to try it for fun, but believe it or not, “let’s have sex” might be also boring for them if you are not very attractive. I tried the old “You have this girl next door that likes a hard good fuck look on you” and worked only in Manila, where my looks are more appreciated.

In my experience I found that I get more positive replies when going little less sexual and more creative, but not boring. Something about a massage with Nutella, biting her ear or make out with whipped cream or whatever is not explicit sex but something that clearly points toward it. That way your expectations are set since the beginning, but the girl is more likely to accept the risk.

In addition remember that more important is to get professional pictures than an opener.

If your in the Phils, notorious for having problems on prepaid data plans. You'll need to get a post paid or connect via landline wifi

There's an app for iphones where if you shows you only who has liked you and eliminates the need for swiping.

How do you wipe out a Tinder account completely and start from scratch? I want to start from scratch and it always prompts me to login with facebook (even when I don't have fb installed on my phone). I was using a fake fb profile. Can you create a fresh Tinder account w/out facebook, or do you need a fb to have Tinder? Should I close my fake fb account and create a new one?

Go into tinder and deactivate your account.

Go into facebook (not on mobile) and remove tinder as an authorized app. Wait half a day or so, re-login with facebook and viola.

I do this every few months.

I think this is guaranteed to happen to every dating app eventually.

As adoption increases the quantity of men goes up. Women get pestered more and some leave the app out of annoyance or just sheer overabundance of choice causes paralysis. You are competing with more good-looking alpha men for an ever decreasing number of attractive women.

I wouldn't bother with Tinder in Western countries any more. You can still kill with it overseas though.
