I think its awesome that we have you Parzival as an eyes on the ground. Do you have anything about German culture, food, drink, etc, that you'd like to share? Germany/Austria comprises half of my ancestry. Some were subjects of the Habsburg Empire, and I think others were Prussian. Its a bit difficult getting the information. If I was to travel to Berlin what would you suggest I see or go to? Should I bring plenty of people with me?

Another good example of Christianity as a seed is the seed of the Giant Sequoia or Redwood. Some of the trees are thousands of years old and start off as very small seeds. I got some seeds and a kit for Christmas to grow. I'll be dead before they get huge but I will have a legacy provided they are not cut down and killed.

The trees have endured drought in some places and fire yet they still stand. Its people without a respect for history and heritage that cut them down.

The Rhine valley has some beautiful areas out there and a benign climate even in winter (well ,relatively to my southern taste but it IS the north)!

Then you should try out Mecklenburg Vorpommern. Infrastructurally it's a bit backwards, but the countryside is beautiful. Especially the Uckermark and the Mecklenburgische Seeplatte. It's like putting pushing the pause button. As property prices are really low, I was thinking about moving there if I want to have a family.

I can also recommend doing a boat tour on the Mosel in Rhineland Palatinate. Enjoying a Federweisser white wine and Zwiebelkuchen weil inhaling the medieval flair of the town Cochem. Pure old school german magic.

Berlin is more or less done, to be fair. I don't know the exact situation in Potsdam, but it should be similar (but can still be visited).

I was recently in Berlin in Wilmerdorferstrasse in the area of Charlottenburg and even though near the metro stations i saw a couple of "southern looking" guys it was nothing different from what I saw when I was living there in 2013.

I did not see much of Berlin as I arrived late and overnighted in Westend and went with a car around 14h00 over there and got to the airport shortly after with a car as well.

Charlottenburg is mostly a Russian area (there's even a shashlik and borsh shop right at the metro station)

I think in general its still not nearly as bad as some board members say, or at paris-levels of enrichment but certain areas are on their way. You can go to some parts of town and see nothing but Germans. Neukölln is strange as its the Hipster/Arab area. walk down Sonnenallee and you will see only arabic people and stores. move one block parallel to the northeast on Weser Strasse and you will see only hipsters, cafes, bars, shops etc. its pretty interesting how it works out that way.

Berlin is still big - in smaller towns where there are almost no local youth it is much worse. In Nuernberg the entire main train station area is Arab/Mogadishu central. Oh wow, that's killer. Now imagine if you could get your hands on an old MG 42 with a ton of ammunition and spare barrels. Germanic people sure seem to know how make weapons.

Month ago I saw original MG42 in the shop. Some guy brought it and said it will be sent to museum. Unfortunately barrel was filled and firing pin destroyed. Doesn't matter, you couldn't buy it from him and automatic weapons are not permitted in Croatia.
