My latest favs I am listening to alot are these (aside from the other Sci Wax stuff I posted in the past page):
For whatever ridiculous reason I cannot stop listening to this Unreleased dubplate from Equinox. The bass is ridiculous. The choppage and the darkness nuts. When the strings come in, it's like what more could it have? This is one of those many songs he swears he lost from a harddrive crash where he had all this crazy music way ahead of the times when he made it.
Then there is this fuggin masterpiece from Dub One, that I hope gets a propah release soon. I need to check on that, because it's been a little while. No description needed on this. When you play this sit back in your chair and enjoy the journey.
Challenge for all you DnB heads out there. Find me or link some serious Drum Funk like that last Dub One song I linked. I like that stuff, but it's hard to find sometimes and not everyone knows how to program drums like that.

Crap, I've got a lot of listening to do, Kai and Ulterior. I've got a few particularly smashing tracks I'd like to post as well. Since we are mostly posting liquid/jungle, does anyone here know Al Pack? He's a really strong liquid producer from the UK (Bristol, I think) with some really unique sounds on his roster. A while back, he posted a clip of a jazzy/50s track on his soundcloud and then suddenly took it off. I remember playing the fuck out of that 3 minute clip. Top tune. I connected with him recently and he gave me the latest version of the track, which I promptly uploaded. From what I understand, he's ambivalent about releasing it. Bassline on this hits incredibly hard. Sounds a bit unfinished though. Not sure what it is.
Good shout on going directly to him, I've been enjoying this one you posted a lot lately. I can see why he's a little on the fence about going ahead with it as the mixdown is a little rough but I'm a sucker for the sample he has used.

The second part made me laugh to myself. I get a lot of weird looks when I play these kind of tracks, although production wise they are way beyond anything I can even imagine.
In a breakdown on YouTube of Aria by Rockwell he had something close to over 100+ percussive hits, I can't really keep 20 in line.
EDIT: Regarding the Acid Lab track TravelerKai, I haven't found another track from him that sounds even remotely similair. I'll keep an eye out though and when I come across tracks like it I'll post them in here.

Feeling all these tracks, especially the last two soundcloud links. The video for that London Elektricity one though.. I don't really know how to feel about it.

Saved that Limewax. That wasn't too dark at all. Pretty good drum patterns without being too chaotic. Still nothing like Dub One's stuff though. Maybe he is in a league of his own? Equinox talks about his drums on the radio all the time, I guess that is because no one else does em like Dub One.
I know about that GEIN. Not at nice as the Limewax cut, but pretty decent.
I am sure I heard some pure drum funk somewhere before at that level, but it was on a JungleTrain radio show. I never got the names.
The only guys I know of that can make similar drum funk kinda like Dub One, would be:
Skitty
Breakage
Sumone
Nolige
And of course Nebula sometimes
I think Skitty and Nolige are in the same Foundation X crew now. May need to link you guys a few choice choons from them, especially since you guys like Techstep-ish sounds. They are not as Amen crazy as the usual suspects, they have all kinds of sounds usually (Nolige and Breakage). I think Skitty has gotten more into Ragga Jungle though.

You know those guys are very "artsy". I don't care for the video either, but the song is still dreamy. I hear this song in my sleep the most lately. The production is very clean as usual for Tony and crew.
I would like to see them live before I die, but that isn't very likely. Have you seen them live yet?
Let me know whatcha think and how it holds up compared to your fave DnB releases. Not exactly finished yet, but it's more or less a DnB track

That's Neurofunk *I think*, which is a subgenre of DnB underneath Techstep and Darkstep, which it gets it's origin from. It's cousins are Dubstep, Grime, etc.
I can't comment on how good it is, because I am not a fan of those genres. I don't think it would make sense to compare that track to any DnB I like, because they are just way too different.
Did you make it yourself? Don't say it publicly, if that would dox yourself or something.
If you weren't able to tell before Feint is by far my favorite DnB artist.

That tune is fucking ridiculous. That's how it's done. I haven't heard anything thing that really resembles it, but here are a few good candidates that might catch your fancy.
This liquid track imo comes eerily close, but it's not drumfunk.
On the dark side of things, this is the only thing in my playlist that really qualifies. Good as far as breaks go.
Wildcard (Drumfunk track, but the least similar, I think)
Some serious heat in those two tunes. Gotta love old Moving Shadow tunes. That could be it's own thread in a lot of ways. That label is what kinda what got me into DnB in the first place.

I managed to catch them live at Hospitality in Fabric a few years back. I remember being in the middle of the floor spacing out to the sounds of Nu:Tone - Balaclava. It was a great night overall.
Hospitality nights always bring in a friendly crowd and a lot of women in comparison to other DNB nights.
I'm pretty sure they do events over your side of the globe quite a lot, I'll keep an eye out.

These were probably my 2 favorite tracks on your list. I've never really come across a Break/Zero T tune I didn't enjoy. I'm a sucker for those smooth silky basslines.
