Dammit, Ulterior. Really impressed with those first 2 tracks - Lurch - Confessions and Random Movement's experimental take on that. They just don't make great liquid like they used to. I've moved to the dark side and I'll probably be here for a while.I know you guys (esp Kai) don't really like tracks like that, but these are clean, crisp sounds that aren't too dirty or distorted.

Loving that Fre4knc (Tradecraft) track. Classic trademark tech sounds. Ignis is a close 2nd for me. Check out this track in particular. It takes a while to digest. Very deep and gritty.





Recent liquid release from Viper (02/17). Galactic space vibe.





Another recent tune from an aforementioned channel above (worth taking a look at the whole channel, so much good stuff).





Old School tech. Fantastic bassline reminiscent of Quarantine Crew (Break, Fierce, C4C, etc). Took me a few listens before I really got into it. Sick as hell.





I'm listening to a lot of stuff right now, so I'll probably include more liquidfunk and jungle down the line.

Jokes aside, I can understand your point.

People will jump on every Calibre release and say it is amazing.

Overall though for me personally I'd say around 75% of his releases are good enough for me to put money down on.

I don't know of any other producer who can put out a 6 hour mix of unreleased tracks and not even scrape the surface of what he has not put out there.

As to your point above, I need to start compiling a 'Better than Calibre' playlist lol.

I haven't really been listening to much because I twisted my ankle while I was skanking hard to that Crossfire roller I posted above, so I took a break. Lot of hot tracks off the press and I can't post them right now because I have to sift through them. Lot of stuff forthcoming. I'm particularly focused on the new Insideinfo LP, but haven't digested it fully yet. Also waiting on the new Gridlok album. That being said, this is what I'm listening to now.

Wow, did you even listen to anything in this thread? I have listed tracks here that have made me have out of body experiences, weird euphoric highs, convulsions, etc. As such, I think the genre is pretty competitive these days. Lot of great stuff being pressed. Sometimes, to get into a track, you do have to listen to it more than once. This shit ain't pop music.

I've been listening to a lot of stuff lately which I will detail later. I've been lagging behind on my dnb posting.
