I just don't get it.

After all the false sex allegations against the Emperor, it's fitting that The Cunt will be destroyed by a Weiner.

Good old fashioned tribal politics.

Hillary's core supporters are not much more than primitives. Promise them rape, murder and pillage (or the modern political equivalents) and they will rally to their tribal warlord as reliably as well trained attack dogs.

I think this is it, more than anything. They don't care what Hillary is capable of or who she is as a person. They see democrat and will be voting against the republicans who want to take away everything that is important to them.

People who can't read don't care about illegal emails. They want to know how they're going to eat tomorrow. And they've been brainwashed that only democrats care about the poor, elderly, etc., but as has been made clear in cities like Baltimore, they only care about heir vote, not their quality of life. That message has never gotten through. I have my suspicions of how the community keeps that narrative alive, but I haven't lived there so I won't try to sound like an expert.

Nothing the DOJ is doing is helping Hillary at all. They are just making her look more guilty by stonewalling. Literally the whole fucking government is waiting on the voters to save or destroy the country. They are here to get paid, nothing else.

My thought is that people in the FBI are scared shitless that Trump will win and either expose them or try to prosecute them. Comey is trying to get ahead of that possibility by writing his letter now. Otherwise, he would wait until after the election.

EDIT: Is there a possibility that Huma could get whacked over this? I wouldn't put it past Hillary.

If anything, given Hillary's track record, she will probably try to get elected and then pardon Huma immediately.

If anyone was going to get whacked, it would have been the Weiner.

Quote:Democrats should ask Clinton to step aside

John Kass

Has America become so numb by the decades of lies and cynicism oozing from Clinton Inc. that it could elect Hillary Clinton as president, even after Friday's FBI announcement that it had reopened an investigation of her emails while secretary of state?

We'll find out soon enough.

It's obvious the American political system is breaking down. It's been crumbling for some time now, and the establishment elite know it and they're properly frightened. Donald Trump, the vulgarian at their gates, is a symptom, not a cause. Hillary Clinton and husband Bill are both cause and effect.

FBI director James Comey's announcement about the renewed Clinton email investigation is the bombshell in the presidential campaign. That he announced this so close to Election Day should tell every thinking person that what the FBI is looking at is extremely serious.

This can't be about pervert Anthony Weiner and his reported desire for a teenage girl. But it can be about the laptop of Weiner's wife, Clinton aide Huma Abedin, and emails between her and Hillary. It comes after the FBI investigation in which Comey concluded Clinton had lied and been "reckless" with national secrets, but said he could not recommend prosecution.

So what should the Democrats do now?

If ruling Democrats hold themselves to the high moral standards they impose on the people they govern, they would follow a simple process:

They would demand that Mrs. Clinton step down, immediately, and let her vice presidential nominee, Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia, stand in her place.

Democrats should say, honestly, that with a new criminal investigation going on into events around her home-brew email server from the time she was secretary of state, having Clinton anywhere near the White House is just not a good idea.

Since Oct. 7, WikiLeaks has released 35,000 emails hacked from Clinton campaign boss John Podesta. Now WikiLeaks, no longer a neutral player but an active anti-Clinton agency, plans to release another 15,000 emails.

What if she is elected? Think of a nation suffering a bad economy and continuing chaos in the Middle East, and now also facing a criminal investigation of a president. Add to that congressional investigations and a public vision of Clinton as a Nixonian figure wandering the halls, wringing her hands.

The best thing would be for Democrats to ask her to step down now. It would be the most responsible thing to do, if the nation were more important to them than power. And the American news media — fairly or not firmly identified in the public mind as Mrs. Clinton's political action committee — should begin demanding it.

But what will Hillary do?

She'll stick and ride this out and turn her anger toward Comey. For Hillary and Bill Clinton, it has always been about power, about the Clinton Restoration and protecting fortunes already made by selling nothing but political influence.

She'll remind the nation that she's a woman and that Donald Trump said terrible things about women. If there is another notorious Trump video to be leaked, the Clintons should probably leak it now. Then her allies in media can talk about misogyny and sexual politics and the headlines can be all about Trump as the boor he is and Hillary as champion of female victims, which she has never been.

Remember that Bill Clinton leveraged the "Year of the Woman." Then he preyed on women in the White House and Hillary protected him. But the political left — most particularly the women of the left — defended him because he promised to protect abortion rights and their other agendas.

If you take a step back from tribal politics, you'll see that Mrs. Clinton has clearly disqualified herself from ever coming near classified information again. If she were a young person straight out of grad school hoping to land a government job, Hillary Clinton would be laughed out of Washington with her record. She'd never be hired.

As secretary of state she kept classified documents on the home-brew server in her basement, which is against the law. She lied about it to the American people. She couldn't remember details dozens of times when questioned by the FBI. Her aides destroyed evidence by BleachBit and hammers. Her husband, Bill, met secretly on an airport tarmac with Attorney General Loretta Lynch for about a half-hour, and all they said they talked about was golf and the grandkids.

And there was no prosecution of Hillary.

That isn't merely wrong and unethical. It is poisonous.

And during this presidential campaign, Americans were confronted with a two-tiered system of federal justice: one for standards for the Clintons and one for the peasants.

I've always figured that, as secretary of state, Clinton kept her home-brew email server — from which foreign intelligence agencies could hack top secret information — so she could shield the influence peddling that helped make the Clintons several fortunes.

The Clintons weren't skilled merchants. They weren't traders or manufacturers. The Clintons never produced anything tangible. They had no science, patents or devices to make them millions upon millions of dollars.

All they had to sell, really, was influence. And they used our federal government to leverage it.

If a presidential election is as much about the people as it is about the candidates, then we'll learn plenty about ourselves in the coming days, won't we?

CT endorsed Gary "Aleppo?? u wot m8" Johnson, but this will of course play into Trump's hand as well. May this be the first of a landslide of calls for Hillary to GTFO in the coming week?

I used to think that Chris Wallace was a democratic turd because his questioning to Trump and his supporters was very sharp. What I didn't realize at that time was how balanced he was.

So, after the third debate, I started having more respect for him.

After his grilling of Robby Mook this morning, Chris Wallace has definitely earned my respect.

The icing on the cake is Mook citing yahoo news.

The article is written by John Kass who is the most conservative reporter and columnist by far. He's the only guy in town who goes after Chicago and Illinois corruption. He is very good though, always worth reading.

Subject: Re: Where's Bill?

Late fall is much too late. WJC should have begun early summer in stages, a periodic but reinforcing presence escalating late fall, not beginning late fall. If it wasn't important enough for him to do compared to other things he is doing, shame on him. If it was a staff-generated plan, shame on them. High probability I write a very strong column very soon about these things. I have been very aggressive defending her and avoiding any criticism while she was under attack but this is now going very wrong and when I read the NYT story that reconfirms my view, never publicly stated, that some of the people around her---not you but others---are dumber than bird shit when it comes to modern public opinion and modern politics.

I will tell you, I was an early Obama supporter in 2007 and 2008, which was a mistake, but I was in the inner loop going to meetings with John Kerry sitting on my right and Tom Daschle sitting on my left and exchanging ideas with the top Obama people in D.C. and Chicago by speaker phone. They had then, and carried with them into the White House, an unbridled contempt for Bill and Hillary Clinton. Some of them, who now are visible for Hillary, said or wrote things to me when I suggested possible contributions by one of the Clintons that were so dripping with contempt that I told them that if they ever do that again in my presence I would treat it as on the record, write it, and name them, that's how bad it was.

There are some people now working for her who consider her a profit center for their income and not a cause or a mission that they believe in. They almost certainly carry with them an incredible jealousy that Obama has always harbored towards Bill Clinton and a condescending attitude towards Hillary Clinton. That attitude shines through the Times story today that treats her a commodity to be sold and not as a leader of the nation.....it treats her as a calculating tactician who is changing her maneuvers about how to sell herself to manipulatable voters and not as a putative president with a heart and a soul and a passion about WHY she wants to be president and what she would do if she is.....

An inauthentic strategy to make her look authentic is absurd. And BTW, Biden's populist act on Labor Day with his rhetoric of being indignant about the unfairness of the economy makes a mockery of his four decades of carrying water for banks as their de facto lobbyist in the Senate from Delaware. He won't take one vote from Bernie when people focus, is the best thing that could happen to Bernie and will come in third behind Hillary and Bernie, taking votes from Hillary that will give Bernie's percentage more delegates and clout. The solution is for Hillary to be more authentically populist, not as far as Bernie but much more so than she has been, and give her candidacy some heart and soul and bite that is not her nature, and not her staff's, which may be her undoing.

I could write a column listing one by one the corporate clients of many of Hillary's closest advisors and many Democrats would puke. I have researched this, and it is appalling, and these are people attuned to making money from whomever writes their checks, who are not attuned---and in many ways are hostile to----the powerful forces that are now driving the electorate....

As for Bill, he should have been a visible presence all along, he is the great validator in American politics, the Babe Ruth of national politics when almost all other politicians, including Hillary, are widely distrusted....Bill is the closest to a recognizable model of the kind of president Americans would be happy with in 2016....he gives the closest indicator of the kind of president Hillary would be, which is a huge plus.... and on selected populist issues where she could distinguish herself that would be a big plus too.....

Instead all we watch is a tactical discussion about why she is not doing well because of how much she is distrusted by voters, and suggestions she is dispatching surrogate politicians to do her dirty work attacking the one Democratic candidate who most excites the Democratic base, and the latest innuendo about the Clinton emails because she---and her staff---give the voters and media nothing more exciting and inspiring to discuss beyond what TV shows she will be appearing on to make her less distrusted.....

Dan Pfeiffer can say I am bed-wedding but this campaign right now is in very, very serious trouble and unless something dramatic changes the hourglass is now getting low on sand to set things right.....Brent Sent from my iPad

I completely understand that even cabinet members should have the ability to plead the fifth so as to not incriminate themselves. That is the right of the individual. That is not however, or atleast should not be a right of the OFFICE. I mean this from a philosophical perspective rather than a legal perspective.

So how to reconcile that? She should be able to plead the fifth, but any time a cabinet member or elected official pleads the fifth on any matter pertinent to their office, they must be immediately removed from that office.

There has to be no debate about this. I'd have hoped that the President would follow this out of common sense and pride, but since they lately haven't seemed to have either, let's hope President Trump can promote passing such a law.
