I like this picture, it could be very well true. You just need to add 1 or 2 bullet points reading "will shoot up the nearest mall" and "will brutally rape your sister/daughter unprovoked", then it'll be more truthful

Sure there are the occasional assholes in any segment of a population, but if I have a choice between Latin and ME immigration, brother - I will pick the former any day.

I'll keep my response short since I don't want to derail the thread.
The massive Hispanic immigration to America is turning it to a third world country. For example, compare 1960's California to the California of today. It has completely changed and California resembles more like Mexico than the rest of America.
I don't hate Hispanics or Latin America. However, behind the facade of feminine women, good food, and the beautiful beaches in Latin America, there is a little else of value there.
Latin America is considered a third world society for a reason. Hispanics are leaving because their government, society, and culture, and, ultimately, civilization has failed them.
Regardless of the ME migration to Europe, I don't see how bringing Hispanics - who are members of a failed society - is beneficial to America.

Of course Latin Americans are better than Middle Eastern Muslims and 70 IQ Somalis.
But let us look at the facts in South America:
In most countries you have descendents of the Europeans ruling over the other more darker (and lower in IQ) groups in cleptocratic corrupt systems. The Christian heritage helps a bit, but there are strange twists of infatuation with death and a high disregard for life itself.
Also when looking at the American system, does anyone truly believe that if you replaced 90% of European Whites in the US with current South American immigrants, then you would have a similar country? No - that place would resemble Brazil pretty soon. However you could replace Americans with Europeans, Russians, Chinese, Japanese or Jews - you would have an almost identical system with some twists, but at similar levels of civilization.
All other ethnicities taken from around the world and put into the US system would fuck that very said system up pretty fast.
In addition there is also another problem with immigration to the West - ECONOMICS. Menial work is disappearing, corporations are offshoring work, middle class is disappearing, a vast economic underclass is appearing. That trend has been happening since the 1970s and was only econoimically halted in the 1980s to 2000s via a massive private debt expansion (but no effective rise of disposible income).
So to put it short - even if all South Americans coming in were almost identical to Americans - there would be hardly any advantage for most Americans. There are only disadvantages for the wide majority.

I believe it. I had an older German co-worker, with whom I previously had gotten along with great for about four months, stop talking to me after I endorsed second amendment logic and culture.

- Expressions of incredulity.
- Endless debate over the underlying reasons for all those attacks whilst ignoring the ugly truth that continues to stare them in the face.
- Blaming the AfD and Pegida for 'taking advantage of the situation'.
- Calls for more security/surveillance and a ban on private LEGAL weapon ownership.
- Calls to not jump to conclusion and that most of these attacks were 'isolated attacks' which haven nothing to do with Islam.
- Further introspection as to what the Germans may have done wrong to cause so much hate and thus provoking these attacks.
- Concerns that the Right will take unfairly advantage of all the situation, despite the fact that everything they predicted has come true (and worse).
I think that'll cover most of it.

For this they are to new to change a mentality of trust in the state that did grow since the occupation of Germany and even before. Germans did always trust in the authorities. Its hard to compare this to an Anglo mentality where everyone has to take care of his own.

Apart from a few isolated incidents, the people there really dont have serious history of resistance or uprising against their rulers.
Even the night the berlin wall came down it was because a GDR communist government official named Gunter Schabowski had said on state television he had an official paper saying the border would be opened....otherwise they would have never stormed the gates. Really.
And in parliament, even controversial laws get passed with large majorities from all parties.
Referendums are unheard of.
Obedience to laws and authority is like a sexual fetish in Germany.
Lets see if this will finally change.
Im not keeping my hopes up.

You only can help an addict when he realize he has a problem. As long as Germans don't question the trust in the authorities there will be no change. Hell I even believe Merkel will gain points in the surveys again.

(07-25-2016 05:34 AM)redpillage Wrote: I actually speak about this from first hand experience, having spent over 20 years living in California. The key issue to be addressed here IMO is that of 'legal' vs. 'illegal' immigration. There are ton of latinos who moved to the U.S., worked hard, integrated, and became lawyers, accountants, doctors, plumbers, etc. The people that keep streaming over the border are often the lowest of the low, even measured by S.A. standards. Now I will not argue your point that S.A. in general is a failed continent albeit the reasons for that are somewhat related to this thread let's not get sidetracked.
Quote:In general however, my point stands. If I can choose between a LEGALLY immigrated latino and even a LEGALLY immigrated Muslim I will pick the latino every single time. Why? Because deep inside that Muslim, even if he's intelligent and willing to integrate to some extent, lurks the evil of Islam. He will never abandon the core values of Islam and most likely pass them on to his children. And 20 years later you'll find that his children and grandchildren are following a similar path as many young European born Muslims.
Quote:I personally met a ton of Latinos in my time in California and most of them were extremely forthcoming, polite, and respectful to me. Clearly I didn't spend much time in any gang territory ;-)
Quote:In a nutshell - I don't disagree with you but urge you to not disqualify a certain percentage of latinos who do represent a huge asset to American society. They are mostly traditional, religious, believe in family, and work extremely hard to make ends meet. And most importantly of all - most of them (yes, I know there are a few) are usually happy to have made it to the U.S. and do not intent on taking over the U.S., despite representing a significant percentage of the U.S. population.
