So I see this pick as less about Kaine as VP, but more about moving McAuliffe up in the world.

Hey, if black people can claim that slavery still has an impact on their lives today, confederacy residents can still claim that reconstruction is still in effect. It wasn't even 150 years ago. I would argue that carpet baggers are real in places like VA, charlotte and ashville NC and Nashville TN.

“I’m not really trying to convert the left. I’m content to dismay and flummox them,” he jokingly added. “But ultimately we want to get this film to as many people as possible.”

This is nothing new. Obama and Hillary have openly aided the Syrian forces fighting Assad for years. (that is the ISIS side) and also destabilized Iraq and Lybia. That hasn't stopped the Democrats from hailing them as great leaders.

Obama and Hillary have also been pro BLM and anti 2nd amendment for years, so that is nothing new either. That is like announcing that their next big scoop is that the Saudis and Soros are funding her campaign with many millions of dollars.

I think the biggest news is that the DNC has been tanking Bernie from the start, that will infuriate the voters that Hillary is trying to win over this next week.

Libya was in a economic strait jacket for almost two decades due to sanctions. Around that time (2004) many of the sanctions lapsed and Gaddafi was using trade and economic deals with Europe to push growth and influence for Libya. The country at that time had a ton of under-performing industry and assets and a bank full of cash. Western interests and their greed were foaming at the mouth to try and get in.

Gaddafi trolled, especially the UK and Blair, making Blair have direct and open meeting with him if he wanted to advance economic talks for UK business so on the surface it appeared that the UK/West/Europe were engaging Libya. This was part true but it was mostly optics, Libyan tho did have the power in many of the negotiations.

I do wonder now with, hindsight going back to 2004 in those days many of the West nations were likely starting to see the long dull slogs that eventually lead to the credit crash a few years later. Many were desperate for growth opportunities and would take any they could find.

That reminds me, I saw there are official DNC and RNC convention apps. Couldn't help but notice the DNC app has tons of positive ratings and the RNC one is nothing but 1 stars, despite being developed by the same company (AT&T) and also being damn near identical.

Overall it lays out in simple terms how the Clinton's got their money.

The actual Clinton Foundation only donates around 10% of their funds to causes.

The rest of the money is pocketed.

Corpos/People (donate) give the Clinton's money, they in turn helped remove trade bans, stifle investigations, approved projects.

The biggest takeaway is if you donate to the Clinton's, you can get lucrative contracts for construction, technology, weapons grade plutonium.

The movie basically went over the countries the Clinton's worked with and how they hooked corpos up with the country.
