^ Agreed. When you treat the forum as a resource to build yourself up and help others build themselves, you don't find yourself in EE so much.

Met some great guys on this forum who I consider close friends. I wouldn't throw that away to make a point in EE.

Yeah I thought it was just the election cycle.

But there really is some deep-seeded Reddit/4chan style neuroticism taking hold over there. Frankly it's embarressing.

No point in complaining though... Just be the change you want to see.

I know I want to continue being a value-add, learn from others and meet with like minded fellas around the globe.

Hope You other players see it that way and continue to contribute valuable knowledge like you do.

Anyways.... Moma.. Just got back from the D.R. I really understand how you love that place. Damn Those onion bootystard

At the end of the day, RVF is about game and travel. It isn't a game, travel and race politics forum. If you're gonna go down swinging go down swinging over a thread that means something, not some useless, masturbatory politics thread.

Stay in game and travel sub forums and prosper. Down the way to Everything Else is a path that only leads to madness, despair and bans for minority members.

There can never be enough quality black players on the forum and I'd hate to see you disappear over a fight that means jack shit. Look at what happened to Hencredible and Anabasis. Was it really worth it?

I was in NYC and South Carolina for 10 days but due to circumstances I was only able to get out for one night of clubbing.

As far as girls is concerned... I did manage to have some time to walk around NYC and still maintain Germany is better than NYC for dating. I just walked and watched couples to see who was with who. It really sucks to say that as I love the culture and the quality of life in NYC better but dating there is just garbage.

When i was talking about the sad state of affairs i was talked about the killing of the two black guys by police and the other guy sniping cops in Texas in retaliation.

Berlin:

Im planning to be in Berlin August 12 to 14th. However, a girl I have been "seeing" for a couple years lives there and wants to spend sometime with me. I am planning on going to a couple of places and clubs with her to do recon but I won't be gaming directly.

Soon as I book the ticket I will be figuring out clubs to go with her and I WILL be watching for sure what brothers are doing. What girls they are walking down the streets with. What girls they got in the clubs and bars... Im gonna take a real close look as its only my list of potential future moves.

I spent a few days in Berlin at the beginning of this summer and it revealed to me how imperative it is to build your social circle. I was there just for a few days to check out a couple business schools and visit some old army buddies, so I didn't really do too much gaming. However, one of my boys invited me to a hip hop convention that turned out to be quite fun. First of all, a hip hop convention in Berlin is a surprise since it is such a weird, alternative, techno hipster city, but there is a small niche for hip hop. But let's bring this back to game.

I was chillin' with my boys at a hip hop clothes shop in the convention when I saw a gorgeous dark haired girl (actually looked a lot like Megan Fox, later found out she was an "instagram model") in the corner of my eye. As I turned to look I noticed she was looking right at me, so I gave her the small smile I give to girls I think I catch looking at me. After she walks by, self doubt already started creeping in my mind. She couldn't have been, she was too damn pretty, etc... Sometimes I get in my own way when it comes to gaming women, especially whenever I see them look over. Why did she look over? Interest? Or curiosity since I'm usually in places with very few black men and it's rare to see one... Either way, I didn't approach her while I was at the hip hop convention.

However, later during the event, I happened to strike up conversation with a Turkish guy that was working the event. I guess we really clicked because he started getting me free drinks and food, plus introduced me to some people that he knew there. Guess who was in that group? The Megan Fox girl, along with a few other fine ass girls I had noticed before. This guy was a damn natural, and I applaud him for doing so well especially since there can be some negative connotations associated with being Turkish in Germany. He was even already winging for me, a guy he barely knew. Later that evening he was talking to two fine ass girls from Argentina, and calls me over to join the conversation. I don't want to make this long but as an introvert, I always struggle with building a large circle. I naturally am inclined to just have a circle of 2-3 friends and not bother with much other socializing. But as I have lived longer in Europe, I have realized how important it is to put yourself out there and build your circle. In one evening, I already built a decent circle of people I can chill with in Berlin (I hope to move there for my MBA next year).

As for the Megan Fox girl, I found out through talking to her and confirming through the Turkish guy that she was kind of into him. His reply was something that has become familiar to most game conscious men: yes she was absolutely beautiful, but she still had quite a few issues like insecurity, etc... So he said that he wouldn't want to deal with that so it's better they remained friends. Either way, I still exchanged whatsapp numbers with her and just keeping her in my backpocket for now. If I do get accepted into Business school in Berlin, I can just hit her up, not to really game but maybe make friends with her and she can introduce me to her gorgeous friends.

Toronto gets a bad rap on this forum, but after passing through Toronto for a few hours, my laymen's opinion is as a Black man you can do damage out here especially if you're targeting non-whites. Anyone else agree?

I'm going to spend a weekend out here later on this year to get a better assessment.

It will get hijacked and turned into a shit show. No one will come out feeling any better, any more enlightened, or any more educated.

I read through the Dallas shooting thread, and it has all the classic hallmarks of a race thread...

A thread on the Dallas shootings from the 'black perspective' will either be locked, or overrun, facts won't mean shit. It's too much emotions on all sides.

Every time some shit like this happens, I'd be more motivated to work harder and be moneyed up. The rest is all just time wasting. A well moneyed up people are a formidable people, no one cares about the poor.

We need to delve deeper into career options and education attainment requirements to make sure we aren't backsliding into poverty, as individuals at least.

I really think you should, Raul.

I understand DjembaDjemba's point, and that it often does no good to argue with people whose ears are blocked.

But there is another side to that coin, too. There is an intelligent, sensible way to make one's voice heard without engaging in debates and pointless back-and-forths.

It's important for the health of the forum for a multiplicity of viewpoints to see the light of day. It does no good for one group of guys to hide out on one part of the forum, to sulk and brood in resentful silence. It's not good.

I would even go so far as to say that, if you see something unjust and wrong, you have a duty to speak out and address it.

Sometimes you have to engage where the action is, whether you want to or not. Some of these debates and discussions matter.

Speak up and be heard. You may find that you have more support than you think. Don't make a bunch of assumptions and just write people off.

All right. That's all I wanted to say.

Djemba, I understand completely what you mean regarding improving our finances and education.

Coverdoc, One of the reasons I am bringing this up is because I read the Dallas thread and I read the reaction to your point of view. I don't like when a different point of view is dismissed because one is perceived as "Emotional", "SJW", or "Troll". Those words are now used when someone wants to kill a different point of view as oppose to what they should be used for. I have noticed this now.

Quintus, Thanks. I will wait for more people to chime in.

I want to say one final thing to all the brothers on the forum. Women and travel are fun and we will never stop discussing these things. The last couple of days have been very eye opening and we have a duty to be constructive during these serious times. Going about our regular lives when Black men are killed by police unwarranted and not discussing the impact that it has on all Black men around the USA is not constructive. If we discuss on a separate thread while being respectful and open to all point of views, I am almost positive that a majority of us will be in alignment in counter opposition to the current thread in EE. My intuition says so. More brothers please chime in regards to my earlier post.

No disrespect, dude, but arguments have already been made. However, the same folks wanna dispense their usual dose of 'race realism' and continue to galvanize against BLM 'terrorists' and that's fine because that's their preogative. In my opinion, there's no reason to add more fuel to the fire at this point.

It's naive to attempt to salvage these situations based on what we anticipate peoples' reactions will be. What you're proposing of this sudden kinship and openness to opposing viewpoints has been tried multiple times in the past, to nobody's benefit.

Here is the thing, I was discussing with a friend of mine the other day. The reason why I feel like more successful brothers don't speak up is because you are fighting two battles. Why now have a problem with two brothers getting gunned down by cops, when just last month in Chicago 20x that number were murdered. Many under the age of 18. For every "i'm proud to see you doing good brother, let me know if I can help." There are at least 5 "He talk white, he a sell out, he mugged me, he think he better than me" types. I for one am sick of dealing with it on both fronts. You have racist non blacks, but you also have racist blacks with self hated in just as many numbers if not more.

Go out and try to preach your message of unity, you will be drowned out by the first two chainz song that comes on, or the first instagram model flashing her ass. It's a losing battle. I'm more focused on elevating myself and then providing help to like minded individuals who can see past the BET programming.

RaulValdez - what is there to discuss?

Some black guys got shot by the police, this isn't something new that just started this week. This has been going on for decades in America and other places around the globe.

It is obvious the media is perverting the news, they are looking to start a race war or install martial law. Most Americans don't even realize their rights have been eroded since 9/11.

This is a game forum started by a guy who wanted to fuck better looking women. Most guys come here because they aren't happy with their social life regarding women. I came here because I love to travel and the travel reports are some of the best on the net.

I have been here for several years, I had the pleasure of meeting guys from all walks of life, white, black, asian, latino etc. This week two guys emailed me about coming to Toronto for the upcoming carnival, they are not black but I gave them the best information and I will be having a few drinks with them once they arrive.

To me this is the spirit of the forum.

It isn't about arguing over race and politics.

I would listen to what Djemba said, get your money right and everything falls into place.

Never argue with a fool, you will never change their mind.
Fortis 路 2016-07-11 20:54:00 路 #2598
QC, thanks for chiming in.

My biggest reservation with that thread is that it isn't about arriving at the truth, it's just about stroking a collective hate boner for minorities. I get it, some people don't like black people, but they could just come out and say it and we could avoid the fiasco that is the dallas snipers' thread.

Not to toot anyone's horn, but many of the guys in this thread contribute a lot to the forum online and offline, so it's a bit offputting to me when those same guys get shut out of a thread like that.

I'm simply not interested in fielding a bunch of untrue nonsense from guys who should know better.

All they're seeing is color.

They're not seeing elites stoking tensions and pitting us against each other. You'd think these guys haven't been on the forum all these years.

You know shit is fucked up when even samseau is arguing against the race narrative. What can I even do in such a thread?

Our discussion can include the historic failures of the U.S. Government and our predictions of the future of Black men in America if we don't work together politically and economically.

My biggest fear is that the forum will turn into a carbon copy of the comment section on the Roissy/Chateau Heartiste blog. We need to have diverse opinions. How many brothers on the forum are Trump supporters? Probably only a small percentage if not none at all. With the way the forum is becoming, you would think that he has gotten the endorsement of the entire forum.
rudebwoy 路 2016-07-11 21:15:00 路 #2600
RaulValdez - Trump is popular because he speaks to a demographic that is unhappy.

Roissy speaks to the same group, I will admit that some of his game articles are pretty good.

The forum isn't the place to talk about historic failures of the government and the future of the black man.

We have a solid group of guys on this thread, Fortis for example is in China doing his thing. He ain't in his mom's basement, smoking weed and playing video games.

As the saying goes, do you Dude. Don't worry about the distractions.
