It makes sense to marry or invest in a LTR with a girl who shares the same background
or makes the same kind of money as you do. Otherwise you're trying to work with someone
who may not be a good fit long term.

On the other hand, money isn't everything. A smart woman willing to learn and who makes smart decisions
with the money she has is an asset..not a liability. Character counts.

WIA, I like that look, it's something I think I can pull off. Those glasses are they lense free or with the fake glass? I can't do medicated glasses, they make my eyes hurt.

Probably not prescription. Wearing glasses when you don't need them has been a young people's style for a bit. A lot of the more fashionable athletes and musicians wear them.

Probably some mouth breathers who say it makes you look genetically unfit though.

It's a shame that more is the Wire alumni aren't working.

Any have pictures of stylish jeans? Summer time is coming up and I lost weight so I need a new go to pair of jeans. My last ones aren't fitting the same way they used to.

^ a lot of that will depend on your price range as well as where you live. I like selvedge jeans but don't swear that shit in super hot weather. Your balls will literally sweat.

Price isn't a huge issue as long as it looks like nice. I'm find spending $100 on a nice pair of jeans because I wear jeans so much.

I don't think I'll ever pay more than $100 on jeans.

Spending $100 or more on jeans is definitely worth it if you can afford it. They feel more comfortable, look better, the fabric is better quality and they last longer. When I used to buy jeans in the $30-$50 range, they would wear out or have tears within a year. More expensive clothes tend to last longer. If you spend $150 on a pair of jeans and it lasts for 3 years I think that's a better bargain than a cheaper pair that you have to replace frequently.

If you don't want to pay full retail go to Nordstrom's Rack or some online store where you can get a discount.

I find getting jeans that fit me is a hard thing.

I was a fan of G-star jeans, then they started making all their jeans slim fit.

I found a line of Hugo Boss jeans that fit me well.

I've never spent more than $40 on a pair of jeans in my life. I usually hit the discount stores, or clearance racks at high end department stores, pick out about 10 good contenders, spend about 30 minutes trying them all on, then narrow it down to the best 1 or 2 pair that look good on me. If I had to name a brand, I would say Seven Jeans fit and look pretty good on me, but if I can't catch them jawns on sale then I'll wait.


Question on logistics:

How far is too far to meet up with a chick? Where I live is pretty sprawling and its not uncommon to meet a chick that's about 30 miles/45 minutes away. I usually pass, but I'm thinking far away might have its advantages when it comes to keeping a distance when needed.

You're missing out on small town/suburban notches.
Easy meet ups and lower financial expectations.

Real rap, it's not unheard of for a chick to drive a few hours for a bang.

In terms of the roster, b team in most cases. Time you spend driving, or waiting, is time you could be working on chicks that live in your neck of the woods.

I don't have any problem spending some coin on jeans/pants. As another poster said, they lost longer and look great if you get the right ones.

It's the polo shirts and long sleeve shirts I have issues with. I just can't bring myself to spend 80 bucks on a single polo or shirt. I usually go to the outlet to get my shirts in bulk every spring/fall though.

Question for my international travelers:
I have never been outside of North America, my passport has literally been collecting dust, however I'm ready to plan a trip. Any consensus on some of the first countries to visit outside of NA?

@Dimebait - London is not easy on the pocket.

The rail system is excellent all across Europe, so being in London has no real advantage.

Scandinavia is very expensive.

Best value would be Central Europe and Eastern Europe.

I'm heading to London in late June/early July. I'm mostly going to see some Wimbledon matches so there won't be much time for exploring.

You guys are right on not being cheap. Luckily I have enough points to cover my stay at Marriott.
I was able to find a first class seat from DCA non stop for 2600 BA though. Quite a steal when you consider the other airlines wanted 1300-1600 on economy.
I also planning on using Groupon London a bit as well to mitigate the food cost.

I personally feel that you don't get the maximal juice from the squeeze of you go to a Latin American country without a conversational command of Spanish (or Portuguese if you decide on Brazil). I enjoy getting the real experience when I go to a country and if you hit up Latin America or Central America, you will be largely limited to the gringo zones or resort. If you don't give a fcuk and you want to dive in regardless then you can give it a shot anyway. If you want to try London which will have no language barrier, what kind of accommodations are you looking for? Hostel? Hotel? There are many members here from London who can start to give you the breakdown, cost-wise. Lay out a time frame you wish to travel for and a budget. You can also try Canada now that summer is here. Winter bite will be on vacay for a couple of months and the scenery is gorgeous. By and large, Canadian lizards are friendly.
