^Sounds about right for African-Americans. What genetic testing service company did you use? The breakdown seems more detailed than the one i took.

I got ...

26 % Sub-Saharan African
59 % Middle-Eastern
9 % Southern European
4% Paleo-African

I watched the video and it's further proof that you can have money and still be ghetto. There is nothing "classy" about these girls whatsoever and it's appropriate that they are on "Real Housewives of Atlanta" because Atlanta is FULL of these types of bitches. I know DC gets a bad rep here but I find out of the two black "meccas" (D.C and Atlanta), DC black girls are way more down to earth.

Learned this the hard way. I've been to Central America, Spain, and Mexico and the white god factor in those places is real, especially among the women. I've tried learning Spanish and immersing myself into Latin culture but in my opinion it's not worth it for a black guy, so I'm trying my hand at Chinese. Or if you can't leave the U.S live in Baltimore for a few years. Then after that, ANY U.S city will look good in comparison for a black guy, even Bumblefuck, Tennessee.

I like Tariq Nasheed, but some of the shit he says is completely counterintuitive. Advocating for Black folk to not vote is ludicrous. While he makes a good point, voting and establishing a strong economic base are not mutually exclusive. There鈥檚 no shortage of conjecture and conclusory statements without citations, but I guess that works in a society where people believe anything they see on a Meme.
Speaking of money doesn鈥檛 equal class, that birdman interview was crazy. That dude speaks as if English isn鈥檛 his first language. I know money overcomes a lot of shortcomings, but gotdamn.

I'm not discounting your own experience in Mexico, Central America and Spain but I haven't seen it. Trading Latin America for Asia because of "white god factor" is funny because Asia is where that expression was coined! They use way more skin lightening creams in Asia than they do in Latin America. I can always spot chinese tourists because they carry hand umbrellas to the beach and wear long sleeves in 90F so they don't get darker.

White god factor in Mexico?? Based on the collective experiences in this forum and offline from black and white guys I'm not seeing it.

Spain? The Spain threads aren't filled with reports of caucasians "killing it" in Spain JUST for being caucasian. Most people are complaining how tough it is with a few exceptions. I've always found girls from Spain receptive, I have 2 Spain flags.

Central America? Thats a grab bag, its 5 or 6 different countries and as a black man you will be received differently in each one. But my experience in each always leaned on the positive. In Costa rica in particular I got more positive female attention then my white canadian buddy. Panama was the opposite and white dudes get a boost there but I still got it in.

I would say Andean Latin America is the most racist/anti-black, mainly Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador. They still find blackface acceptable and hilarious but even there we have our admirers and I was never disrespected by the local police as I have been in the US of A.They also have some of the ugliest women in Latin America so no huge loss there. Ironically these countries are looked down on the most for being more indian and less white than the rest of Latin America.

All in all, if you are black and interested in the Spanish language (which lets face it, will only multiply in importance in America) and/or Latin American culture don't let the possibility of racism dissuade you. Go see for yourself.

In 2016 even in the south someone who is 1/8th black who doesn't shout "I'm black" to everyone passing by won't be regarded as such and if they did they would be looked at like rachael dolezal....a wannabe. Even during Jim Crow people that were only a 1/4 black could generally get away with passing for white if they moved to a town away from their black relatives.

I don't have the time to look this up now but there are tons of lists of actors/models/atheletes, etc(The rock, Vin diesel, etc) that are 1/4 or sometimes even half black that don't publicy identify as black and are virtually indistinguishable from southern ethnic whites or "latins".

To clarify, I agree in America the child of a black male and (insert race) woman will be considered black, the 1/2 level. But this 1/16 nonsense just isnt true anymore. If someone like Drake or J. Cole(1/2) married Taylor Swift and had a kid only the most bigoted american 1% would say that child (1/4) is black. And that child literally anywhere else on the planet would never be considered black.
Here's a perspective from a "light-skin" guy if anyone cares.

Light skin and biracial men don't enjoy the benefits of being black (and there are benefits), while still suffering most of the detriments.

@SuS

Interesting.

Can you speak on the benefits to being dark skin?

And where do the benefits begin?

Also when you talk about "dark skin" are we talking anyone as dark as Nick Cannon and Kobe or do we need to be as dark as Kevin Hart or Shaq to get benefits?

What benefits do they get that a dude like John Legend or Ludacris wouldnt?

Im 100% serious.

Both my dad and I took Dna test. He got his pretty quickly.
Considering that mine was shipped from Korea.. It's taken even longer for results.
Still waiting on mine.

My dad is 90 percent African, 9 percent European.
I assume.. I'm more than likely black also.

I'm curious about Europe percentages. When some of then are a percent.
Considering there is record of blacks in European and even Britain that weren't slaves.... I wonder what the possibility of a European marker actually being a African maker that has a Euro background.
Of course someone may argue ..But it's also debate that some European royalty had African blood as original Europeans. What it that 1 percent British blood isn't slave owner mixing, but old original Euro marker.

Here's a perspective from a "light-skin" guy if anyone cares.

IMO, the biggest failure of the Obama administration is not making a symbolic overturn of the One-Drop Rule.

As much as dark skin brothas complain about white women and other races not dating, the ones who are willing to date them are 9 times out of 10 going after dark skin men. Light skin men and half-black men are way more undesired by white and other non-black women. If it sounds like I'm "hating", I come from a borderline Black Supremacist city and county (DC amd bordering P.G. County) where dark skin black men can go after light skin women all day and it would be considered the epitome of "black love". But if the opposite occurred, particularly with a good looking dark skin female, people would throw fits. And if a light skin male would seek a light skin female, all hell would break loose. And that's if the light skin female doesn't turn up her nose at her light skin male counterpart. It's funny that a lot of blacks and whites will throw out the "tragic mulatto" card when they're the main ones enforcing the One-Drop rule when it's convenient so they can stifle competition, just like how the feminists and MRAs rig the SMV Market to suppress sexual access for men in general or men of certain races respectively.

Light skin and biracial men don't enjoy the benefits of being black (and there are benefits), while still suffering most of the detriments. Not all of America operates with this mindset to the nth degree, but in the long run, I'm considering pulling out of America, even if it's just to Canada. I find that asking any question regarding how light skin and biracial men would treated outside of America is way more controversial than a dark skin man asking the same question. And if I were to make a thread about that even on here, responses would be sparse at best, and at worst it probably be taken down with me being banned almost immediately. If the era of Obama, Vin Diesel, The Rock, and Drake hasn't improved the SMV of light skin and biracial black men, I don't see it happening anytime soon. If I'm not getting the benefits of being "black" while still being considered black, I might as well "get in where I fit in" as blacks love to say. Just like how Latinos, Asians, and other minorities who are at the bottom of the barrel in their native country move to America because they know they'll be treated better than blacks. And I don't fit in with the majority of America's preset image of "the black man", neither physically or mentally.

Not to make a sob story out of this. As how I refuse to believe "white supremacy" is a crutch, this "biracial/light skin male disadvantage" is another hurdle that can be conquered. But this just a different perspective to ponder.

My advice to light/mixed black men who feel they have problems dating and fitting in, in the US.. would be to learn Spanish and visit Latin America. Or hell, even Miami or nyc. Some places like DR, mulattos are the majority. You will have no problem blending in and getting love

Good points and I understand everybody's experience is different. Mexico wasn't too bad but I didn't care for the other places. I have never travelled with other black guys. I went to those countries with white friends and they received much better treatment so I was already playing on an uneven playing field. What happened in Latin America didn't even happen to me in the Philippines, which is notorious for white worship. I think another part of it too is that a lot of Latinas are starting to get the treatment from white men that white females got before feminism, a sense of "protection" and that they are off limits to everybody except them, now that they represent one of the only options left in the United States and North America of a decent alternative to damaged white and black women. I might have to check out the Dominican and maybe my opinion would change. I met some real beauties from there and I've noticed that the island Latinas from Puerto Rico and the D.R are the most likely to give black guys a chance.

And I have noticed that you mentioned your white "Canadian" friend. I am not sure what your nationality is, but traveling with white American males is different. They leave their racial baggage at home for some reason but bring it overseas (white American females pull the same shit there too while they get "cultured" doubling down on foreign dick). I haven't really hung out with white Canadians overseas but I have hung out with white Europeans and they don't try to "one up" the black man in front of women like their American counterparts do to prove their supremacy. They treat you as an equal and will go to great lengths to make sure you have a good time. I met a cool German dude in Costa Rica once and he was giving us tips on how to learn Spanish (he was fluent in four languages) and where to go to get girls.

I might take you up on that, the DR may give me some hope. When I was in Puerto Rico with my White American friend I was constantly mistaken for his Puerto Rican "friend" who was showing him around the island. They assumed Spanish was my first language.

I don't think this type of dialogue is turning the topic shitty. To the contrary, I think it encompass all aspects of Black Man Game Options. Sometimes this thread sits idle for days on end, and as long as the discussion turns back to game related options, it's beneficial to all of us. As it is, we don't have very many spaces on the web, and this being one of them, I enjoy reading about folks experiences as Black men.
WestIndianArchie 路 2016-04-27 11:19:00 路 #1842
But we've already proved that every black man in every shade can do well around the U.S. and the world. That's the whole lesson of the podcast.

The defeatism has shown it's head time and time again in this very thread, and I stand against it. Most of the time I just put folks on block. Too many of the good people are getting involved now.

People who think like this are ignorant. but folks here who have seen and heard how others have surpassed self imposed limits, to say they are wrong is not just ignorance but destructive.

As for other spots online for black men to exchange information, there are plenty. You aren't looking if you think this is it

I agree for the most part. I know how topics can get addressed over and over in forums and longstanding members get fed up with readdressing them. Newer users find it easier to post their thoughts as opposed to searching for existing discussions on the issue. However, I think if it keeps the topic churning it's more beneficial than letting the topic sit idle.
I don't think this topic is the end all be all spot for black men information exchange, but if there are other spots where positive upwardly mobile black men who enjoy traveling and game exchange info please share. I shared and looked for input on other podcasts for black men similar to Moma and Rudebwoy's but didn't get much input.
WestIndianArchie 路 2016-04-27 11:54:00 路 #1844
There are lots of forums where black men talk to each other. Podcasts, I couldn't tell you.

I think the fact that Moma and Rudebwoy are not Americans is what makes it so good. Because American black dudes will repeat the brainwashing and think that they're schooling you.

If you on anyway believe in the concept of the red pill, you should be actively dismantling everything, not just politics. Back in the day, we'd say these color struck guys were conditioned.

I am astonished that a debate about light skin vs dark skin came up on this thread.

If you are thinking along those lines in 2016, then you have some serious problems.

DimeBait - if you have topics you would like us to address, feel free to shoot us a PM. I would rather this thread stay idle than be talking about topics such as skin colour.

Black is beautiful, stay black and stay proud.

Again, some of you need to leave America and leave that baggage behind. It isn't good for your mental health which ultimately effects your physical health.

Let's play a little game and change the tempo a little.

I want to share some stuff I have been using lately, just curious what you guys use.

Shaving - Gillette multi blade razor, expensive but does a good job.
Shaving Gel - Bump patrol
After Shave gel - Bump patrol, it has erased those little nagging bumps I use to get on the back of my neck.

Body Wash - African Black Soap by Nubian Heritage.

Cologne - I was given a bottle of Richard James cologne, nice but too pricey for me to buy again. I had an ex who was in the perfume business and dealt with high end stuff (think Creed's). She recommended that black people use Vanilla scented colognes, it works well with our skin. She got me a bottle of Vanille Coco which is from France and was not sold here, until now.

***** Tip of the day - the store Sephora now carries the same product at a reasonable price *****
http://www.sephora.com/vanille-coco-P386...6771_image

If you have money to burn, Tom Ford makes a wicked scent called Tobacco Vanilla. I can't justify paying $240, but the stuff smells like the bomb.

Body Lotion - Coconut oil, I buy the cheapest brand from Walmart which runs me $2.97. I use this stuff all over and has made a difference.

Dental Tip - If you have listened to our podcasts, I mentioned how I use activated charcoal to whiten my teeth. Sometimes I will mix it with regular toothpaste or I will use toothpaste in the morning and then the charcoal at night.

Favourite App - Convoi - allows you to get another phone number on your cellphone. Good for screening out the lizards.

Favourite Site for buying casual clothes - Asos.com - they are a UK company but they ship to North America and I never have to pay duty. They also have sales very often and they give you discount codes.

Latest Fad that works - Intermittent Fasting - I actually stumbled upon this by accident, I got into a habit of not eating until noon. This has made a difference, I have seen my stomach go down a bit, I didn't have much of a stomach to begin with. I usually don't buy into these fads, this one works.

Let me know what you think and let's see your list.

Used to buy Aventus Creed for $280 per 120ml (4oz) If you're a loyal passenger on the daily #teamsmellgood train but tired of spending that much, i suggest trying out fragrance oils. I swear by these. Regular replicas are mostly alcohol based. A 12 year old could tell you they smell cheap. Fragrance oils however are almost indistinguishable even to the trained cologne nose.

I'd argue they're even better than the originals since it's all oil and lasts for 8-20 hours. All for the dirt cheap price of $20 for a 4oz. Roll-on ball format instead of sprays as well. So many compliments on the daily I'm getting tired.
