1,1 million out of 8,4 million Londoners are Muslims?
I think that makes it worse than Sweden.
About 1 million out of 8 million in Lima, Peru are Chinese. You don't hear any shit.
The prediction of the total civil war scenario is possible, but when now really almost nobody is coming in. Austria take a lead to close the borders with the eastern European countries, then the whole impact can get absorbed. Germany get a lot of blame, Merkel is crazy. Yes, but before that, Germany never had any riots, even now no terror attacks, no failed areas like in the UK, Sweden, France or Belgium. Yes it get worse, yes there will be mostly something. But even when you call Germans cucks, what is true to some scale, we still have our shit together better then most other countries. So I'm often in the mix about the madness inside my country but also the pride I feel to be German. I never can let go. Even if there is a civil war, the places I mention a few times before will burn first. Germans are in a panic mode even before others ever consider to think about something. Don't know how many of you have ever be to Germany. How much shit do you think Germans can take? When we can take such a lot of it, why we never had such hard issues like others?
And I still have, beside that we have giant camps here, no direct influence on the daily life with refugees. Its different in big cities that already have social issues.
So would you say that similar situations could arise in North America? I've heard that more and more refugees could be coming to cities in Canada soon. I am not sure about the numbers and whether the people will be spread across the country or collected in large numbers in cities like Vancouver and Toronto. The small town I live in recieved some families from the Congo apparently... Syria and the Congo are quite far apart. Its getting strange even in small town Canada.
Either way this is all very concerning. The idea I had of Europe is changing. It has been my dream for many years to visit Germany as Germany is one of my ancestral homelands and Europe in general is. I wanted to speak German with Germans in Germany. Now with all of these events occurring it seems to me that I will not be able to connect in a meaningful way to my heritage. My Asperger friend in high school was rambling on about the chance of WW3 happening but I was not inclined to think it was possible by 2020 or so. I am convinced some kind of armed conflict is possible in the near future in Europe of course but I am not sure whether there will be any great unrest in my current area. To be perfectly honest the idea of mass unrest in my general area is terrifying.
What do we do in the meantime? Gather survival gear and prepare bug out plans?
Wow. Europe won't be a place of peace and freedom if inundated with people that do not share the same cultural values and want to bring in religiously dictated laws that are in conflict with traditional European views that date back to the Enlightenment! That man who was speaking in that video bothers me. "Diversity" is code word for a slow and steady invasion of people that do not care about Europe's rich history and traditions. Wow. What he should say is "Islamic colonization of Europe".

Maybe tomorrow they will break down the gate and flood across the border
I have three sisters and three brothers in Germany
The men are in Germany and haven鈥檛 been able to bring their wives and children
I cannot muster much sympathy for these refugees. I鈥檓 sorry their country is being ruined by IS, but they seem to think that Europe owes them and their large extended families an instantly pleasant life. They seem to have no clue of how their sheer numbers are defeating the ability of Europe to cope with them. That they would even consider breaking down gates or any other violent activity is incomprehensible. The men in Germany who are separated from their wives need to go to their wives, not blame Europe for lengthy separations.
I listen to coverage of this daily on The BBC World Service and I marvel at Europe鈥檚 tolerance and compassion. I鈥檓 sorry the (free) sandwiches aren鈥檛 speediy enough for Laila, et al, but I cannot fathom her lack of comprehension for the difficulties mass migration is bringing to Europe.

"Why did you open the door to refugees? Why did you welcome people?"
Because Merkel was short-sighted and didn't think ahead. She foolishly thought only a few would come, not millions. Turns out the leaders of Germany and Sweden didn't realize that hosting millions of immigrants costs tens of billions of Euros.
"Most of my family is in Germany, and so we decided to go there."
So that entitles you to move to Germany? The world isn't fair and I sympathise with your willingness to flee war, but that does not mean you can just move to any country you choose because there is family. There are literally millions of people with the same story as yours and Germany can't take them all.
The smuggler sold you a pack of lies.

Let me get this straight. The taxpayers of Greece, a poor country with high unemployment, are paying for Syrian migrants to be housed & fed (though they they are not all Syrian, nor all in danger). But if they were truly fleeing for their lives, here they can at least be safe.
Instead of being grateful to her hosts, who take $$ that could be going to their own citizens, to job placement or education or food for their own citizens, Laila, a low skilled hairdresser who speaks no Greek or German, complains. She is so entitled she evidently believes that Europe owes her citizenship, free job placement & some sort of housing (otherwise how can she afford to live there, with no skills?)
On top of that, Europe is supposed to owe her to be intact with her family. Leaving aside the fact that no one is automatically entitled to what others have, she ignores that in war it is common to be separated from families. How else does she explain the fact that, propaganda here aside, the migrants are almost all men? They've been perfectly willing to separate from their families.
She wants peace? I'm sorry she has suffered from IS. But how shall she get peace by whining about what she wants, but not thanking her hosts for what she has, in fact insulting & threatening them, & not even considering what she has to give? How shall she get peace if the Muslim community in her own country fails to stem the violence, & wealthy Islamic countries refuse to step up to the plate?

There are really nasty people trying to take over your country but you do not want your military age kids to have to fight to stop them??
WOW! Exactly who is suppose to do the fighting against ISIS then?
If the military age men and women had fled England because of the bombing which began in 1940, the entire country would be speaking German!
Since you cowards won't fight to save your own country why on earth should anyone give 2 hoots in hades what happens to you?
How dare you snivel "{of all the leaders of the EU}, If any one of them agrees to be separated from his son, I agree to do the same. Or his brother, or his sister, or his cousin."
They did agree to that - when they went to war to protect their countries through out the centuries including most recently and sizably WWII
You cowards ran and now whine "give us back what we lost"
You were safe in Turkey - safe as in no bombs falling on where you were staying.
Go on back to Turkey - no civilized Western country wants a bunch of whining ingrates who think they should be allowed to go where they want and move into someone's country.
PS: If you do wait it out and get assigned to placement by the EU, you have to live in the country they tell you - and not where you want - and you have to STAY THERE - no moving off to Germany or you get deported.
Western countries -western rules
Don't like it - go home and take responsibility for fighting your own civil war and fixing your country!

Should the civilized world provide champagne and caviar with their free sandwiches? The entitlement attitude here is extreme. Moreover, the refugees would not even go to a safe country like canada, since it doesnt meet their personal family standards. I thought they were refugees from a horrific war, not tourists.
These type of propaganda articles is what gives rise to extremists like trump.who is wrong on many issues but strikes a cord with immigration.

So you and your husband want the millions of Muslims who want to live in Europe to "break down the gate" so they can "flood across the border" to Europe (preferably Germany, of course). And you're actually blaming Europe for your predicament. Nice.
You said your husband was actually working in Turkey but, hey, Germany's a better place to live as your many relatives who have already taken advantage of Germany's kindness are telling you. With no concern for the unfortunate Europeans who are suddenly invaded with hundreds of thousands of people who seem to have little interest in actually assimilating to their culture but gladly take all the free benefits that the European tax payers pay for.
You don't blame your country or your religion that has poisoned so many minds. You don't want to fight to stay in your country and all you do is blame the Europeans for not letting you move wherever you want, and you complain about the free sandwiches. And who are you expecting sympathy from?

This piece infuriated me. My family fled revolution and immigrated to Europe well before there was a European Union, when you needed a visa for every single border even if you were traveling across the continent by train, when paperwork was a nightmare.
The idea that we would complain about not being able to go to the particular country where we had family... the idea that we would be upset at Europe for guarding borders and that we would demand to live where our relatives lived because "you need your brother", etc... Seriously? War is awful. I deeply sympathize. But get realistic.
You think we knew anyone in Germany when we arrived there in the 1970s? My mother was home alone with me and my sister. She knew nobody. Same when we later moved to England. We had no family around, no one.
But guess what? We were grateful. And lucky. And we made it work. We asked nothing from the countries that took us in. We integrated. We thanked our lucky stars the chaos of war was behind us. We welcomed the chaos of assimilation into a new culture that was in every single way better than what we left behind.
Eventually we came to the US and settled in a city where we actually did have family. Before then, were we unhappy because we were not around relatives? No. We understood that life is a trade-off. We understood that we had to give something up to get a second chance at life. We did not feel entitled. We built something. Quit faulting Europe for all the things it isn't doing for you.

Wow, where to start? I feel like the New York Times is deliberately tone deaf in its coverage of this migrant crisis. It's as if they enjoy stirring the pot of hostile reactions they know are sure to follow.
The entitlement expressed in this piece has been well covered by other commenters. It has an icky familiarity, surfacing time and again in stories about migrants being rather particular about their accommodations. I can't believe Canada is seen as a second rate option; to many Americans I know, Canada is a beacon of enlightenment, a place many of us would love to live! Even without our numerous grown siblings. Good grief.
Which brings me to northern Europe'so generous family reunification policies for "refugees". These families are pretty darn big, and the definition of family is a very wide net, which could eventually be most of Syria. Germany and the Scandinavian countries are going to sink under this weight.
And my last point: it makes my blood boil that people I know who wear the uniforms of the U.S. armed services, are expected to risk their precious lives fighting ISIS, AL Quaeda, etc.etc. ad infinitum, while you flee along with your fighting age children, and then have the gall to whine about which country provides for you. There aren't words to express my outrage.

'...If you have a son in Hasakah today he has to go to war. It doesn鈥檛 matter if he鈥檚 your only son or if he鈥檚 studying. If there鈥檚 no boy, a girl has to go. Someone from every house has to fight if you want to stay in the area...'
Do the Muslim migrants know that hundreds of thousands, if not tens of millions, of European and American men (and many women) fought and died for their own countries in the last century?
They did not run away and expect someone else to support them and someone else to send their men and women in to die in their countries.
The problems in the Muslim Middle East go back more than 1000 years. It is not anyone else's fault, but their own culture and religion that is the cause of all of this violence and chaos.
There is no acceptance of this by Muslim immigrants means they will not change their ways, will never assimilate, and will inevitably bring their problems with them, which is exactly what has happened.
Combined with the lack of gratitude that comes through in this letter (and in other instances in Europe), it is hard to blame any country for not wanting to take the chance on any more Muslim immigrants, when there are so many needy people in the world who will not bite the hand that feeds them.

Does she know how off-putting her "op-ed" piece really is? Why does she think countries that had nothing to do with her predicament owe her anything? Does she have a clue that what she says plays right into the hands of the people who want to ban her from getting anywhere she wants to go in Europe? Actually, I have read that people fleeing their own country complain about the food they are getting in Europe!!! Where does she think her entitlement comes from?

The next logical step is to ask him about the predictive logic on which his assertions rest. If diversity is inevitable, we should be told precisely why so that the argument can be analyzed. As of now, he is telling the world what their conclusions are without offering the foundation of those conclusions.
I'd then ask him why, precisely, outside logic is being brought in to justify the very specific situation of war refugees. It seems that he is admitting to an agenda outside of the precise needs of these refugees. This would delegitimize the elite's willingness and justification to accept so many refugees.
This man should be relentlessly pushed to publicize his logic in the most specific of terms.
Everyone's communities are at stake and he is telling us that they must be transformed. No one should go into the dark night, at this cuck's insistence, without full knowledge.
Here's another, longer speech by Herr Douchebag in 2009 when giving a TedTalk. It's too long and cucked to summarize adequately, but in short:
1. Accepting cucking is like being Captain Jack Sparrow.
2. Riding the Fear of being cucked is exciting.
3. That fear of "small numbers" of migrants/diversity is irrational and low self-esteem.
4. Blah, blah, blah da environment...
6. The past never happened, and there will never be a nationalist future.
7. The past happened, but is gone.
8. Ideological dichotomy is over.
9. The Left needs to continuously reinvent ideology based on popular opinion.
10. Only global governance can solve humanity's problems. Diversity is key to this.
11. Diversity and globalism is counter-intuitive. The "other" makes you a better person.
12. Globalism and diversity is about the environment.
13. We have to face our fear of being diverse and having global government.
I still recommend it to watch a true elite squirm and act frustrated as he attempts for twenty minutes to convince the proles that they should cuck themselves, while repeatedly using Pirate movie metaphors, and while offering quickly spoken specious reasoning that needs elaboration but is left merely as apparently self-explanatory.
Not as bad as Birmingham, Bradford or London. Those places where you find the majority of migrants, especially those who identify as Muslims.
Look on the last election to see election results from previous years and you will see a pattern. Low class white, black and asian folk who include Muslims as a large demographic vote Labour for the benefits.
Even then the areas they inhabit are just that, areas. I could go to Chicago and point out white flight from ghetto areas which are almost 100% black. However you will not see them in picturesque middle class suburbia and this is exactly the same.
We are splitting hairs over orders of magnitude here I think.
That aside, I don't really understand what you are trying to say?

There are large populations in the cities mentioned but Bradford, Birmingham and London have populations which are much, much bigger and less viable as multicultural areas.
I've been to Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester and most northern towns and you can tell when you're in an area full of low class whites or migrants. They are nowhere near as spread out or domineering compared to the larger populations.
So when someone says "most towns and cities are overrun" I call bullshit. Hence the Chicago comparison. It has a lot of black ghetto's but they're not dominating the city and its surrounding suburbs are they?

I normally really enjoy your posts and for the record, don't think your rep count is anywhere near as high here as your contribution (which has reminded me to rep you...long overdue).
On this issue though, you are both right and wrong.
Machester for instance, has had a 100% increase in Muslims in 10 years (figures available via census although we both know full well that the number is going to be higher than the official figures).
So the absolute numbers in places like Manchester aren't as high as Birmingham, for sure. But the numbers don't tell the whole story.
I don't know how old you are, but I remember Birmingham 10 years ago because I lived there. I remember it 10 years before that for the same reason. The sheer pace of change, from majority British born to foreign and 2/3rd generation foreign born, within 20 years, is startling.
In Birmingham there are currently more Muslim children enrolled in school than Christian. That is frightening.
Manchester is simply a generation or two behind.
Muslim birthrates in the UK are at 4 per woman compared to 1.6 for white British. Coupled with an ageing white British population (that everyone is aware of...Muslims make up 1.2% of over 65s).
It doesn't take a genius to work out that we have a big problem brewing if you aren't a fan of Allah and his worshippers.
My figures are already 5 years out of date (2011 census)...things aren't going to have slowed down!

Tensions between the expanding camp and the farmer reached boiling point yesterday when the elderly land owner decided to run his plough through the hundreds of settlers.
Footage shows the farmer brazenly destroying tents and belongings as he erratically swerves the heavy vehicle across his land.
Notice how the farmer is described? That's how they do it, folks.

Maybe he should have called the police to sort out the problem instead of taking matters violently into his own hands.
They do refer to the rapefugees as settlers though. I guess there's no point in even hiding it anymore. They have no intention of returning home, under any circumstances. They are colonizing Europe.
What amuses me is the outrage those migrants have for the farmer.
It is his land you good for nothing miscreants. Seeing as how these people fled Syria (supposedly) for free money I wouldn't bet on them understanding the rights of land this farmer has over them. This is another example of the 'gimme' mentality that is taking hold over people who think they have a right to something because they're outraged.
If this happened in the UK the farmer would be arrested, the migrants given lawyers, a spokesman and full legal aid to sue the farmer, his business and claim access rights to his land.
