Just had a tough one. So went out on a date with a very cute Dutch Blonde girl at a nice cocktail bar last night. We instantly hit it off. We had a great time, both had interesting things to speak about and the conversation flowed at a great pace. We genuinely seemed to enjoy each other's presence. Even found out she was a bit of a nerd, (marvel, comics, Japanese culture) which is extremely rare for a pretty, petite blonde woman; we even spoke about both re-watching DBZ recently. I was pleasantly surprised. She had to go to a party later so we ended the night around 10pm and went our separate ways. I went home pleased with the date, I thought everything went really well.
I hit her up to schedule a second date and she hit me with the, "I would love to meet as friends but nothing more". I was shocked, considering that we seemed to hit it off so well, it seemed quite early for her to already put me in the friendzone.
I decided to try something new. In another forum, someone mentioned the mirror message method. After an interaction that goes less than expected, you can send a message asking for feedback on why it didn't go well. She replied and her answer was even more surprising. She said, "we are worlds apart, I'm an art student and you want to study business. You are interesting, adventurous and outgoing and I am an introvert." She continues, "you give 0 fucks and I have a hard time doing that, but I do wish I could be like that" This is paraphrasing but she did list a couple other things which would normally come off as positives for a man. However, she said the romantic spark was not there. I chewed on this for a bit because I was genuinely interested in her and thought this would actually have been a cool girl with which to date and chill.
What made it even stranger was that these would normally be positive characteristics, especially in a man. So why wasn't there any romantic spark? Well, if I have understood the information on this site correctly, I failed to build 'attraction'. So no matter what she said, I know that my main problem was not building enough attraction with her during the date. Being that she brought up being artsy, I imagine I didn't have enough of that boring artsy fartsy, and faux sophistication that may be generally associated with that scene.
Has anyone ever dated a girl that found you to be "too interesting and adventurous"? In my year and a half of living in the Netherlands, I did notice something strange; that my life was a lot more interesting than most of the Dutch people that I have met. Not to over generalize a whole country but I do notice how boring life here is for me, I sometimes do feel like I am more impulsive and bold than the people I meet in this country. But I never would have seen it as being a negative and working against me. No matter though, just going to have to move on as I'm not going to change my lifestyle, I quite like it.

Savage response kaotic. I'd do the same. Would be interested to hear what her response is if any.
I could have sworn Tuthmosis wrote on bachelor pad lockdown before but I can't for the life of me find the thread. It may have been another user. Decent thread here:
Of the things you listed, simply having a bar setup is probably the most important, and having interesting shit around your place to have a good vibe and also DHV. Tut preaches the "I want to show you this new drink..." venue-to-pad hop a lot and I endorse it.
People mentioning making a drink for a girl as some kind of supplicating beta shit - chill being "alpha" doesn't mean never doing anything for a girl ever. Being a good host with cool/interesting talents and taste is far from beta.
Some people swear by the no-dinner-date mindset. I agree for the most part unless it is on the premise of her coming over to your place to cook for/with you. If she's cooking for you then she is being feminine and investing which is great. If she is cooking with you then it's a fun date activity in and of itself. You can give her instructions and tasks to do while spending time together doing an activity and talking/flirting sipping wine while you hang out in the kitchen. Stir fry is a super easy but fun one because it requires a lot of veggies to be cut(her) and raw meat to be handled(you). You get the idea.
Having good tunes to put on and some good stuff to sip on is the ticket. Bachelor pad game is some shit not to overlook.

Did you kiss her?
I actually did at the end of the night. But what I meant by being pleased was that I enjoyed myself on the date. I typically find most women to be boring (especially W. European), therefore I find dating to be quite boring. However, on this date, I actually had fun and didn't find her to be boring. I didn't have to feign interest throughout the date, which was why I was pleased at the end.

What is everyone's go to second date plan when the first date is drinks but the woman doesn't come back to your place? This could be due to logistics, her not being ready for that step etc.
I've tried inviting women straight to my place for the second date but most of the time it triggers the ASD and it goes nowhere.
It's always felt like to me dating venues are kind of like a ladder. Meaning if we meet for drinks on the first date it should be food/dinner on the second and so on. However these second sushi/dinner/apps dates are almost always busts for me. I need to correct this part of my dating strategy.

If it was a good passionate kiss, then who knows why she's acting this way? She was attracted at the time, then lost the attraction.
If it was a "peck" or quick polite kiss, then she probably wasn't attracted to begin with. So, what kind of kiss was it?
Quite frankly, the fact that you were pleased is irrelevant.
The bottom line is did you create strong attraction, an emotional connection and give her good emotions and, preferably give her some tingles via your masculine presence and game. It doesn't sound like it based on her recent text. It's whether she was pleased in the ways I just described as to whether she sees you romantically, not whether you were.

Fair? No. The world we live in? Yes.
It was just a quick peck, nothing passionate about it. But you are absolutely correct and it is the conclusion I ultimately came to. I didn't create a very strong attraction WITH HER. I highlight this because last week I converted a midday coffee first date into afternoon beers that led to sex and pizza at the girl's apartment. With the latter, I was able to give her tingles through my masculine presence, game/personality while the first girl wasn't feeling it. Even though I had the same approach for both of those dates, I had two completely different outcomes. Attraction can be fickle sometimes.
Like you said though, it's the world we live in. You win some, and you lose some. But I got it off my chest and I have moved on, thanks for the input.
Even though it's been just a few days, I have to say that my decision to stop pursuing women in their mid 30's to early 40's is already paying off. Just this week I banged a 29 year old and now a 34 year old last night. I keep pretty detailed notes about all of my previous bangs and for some reason 34 years old is a sweet spot for me in terms of first date bangs. The women seem to have a nice balance of still liking to slut it up but the provider hunter instinct is starting to kick in. I seem to fit that niche for them.
Cute alternative-style cashier girl at a place I frequent. She's been throwing overt IOI's at me and we've been sharing some fun light flirting the past couple times I've gone in.
I go for the number close and she tells me she's 17.
I feel like God is helping me the second I've continued and become committed to no fap. All the woman are coming out of the woodworks and I'm trying to get a few dates set up for this coming week.
Didn't get to bang out the girl I mentioned in my last post here. I just hung out with some new friends, smoked cigars, played chess, drank, and just chilled instead. I got much more satisfaction out of it than I would have a bang.
A good cigar is as good as sex for me.
Granted post coitus a glass of Wine/Brandy/Good Beer in my left hand, a girl on my right hand snuggling, and a cigar in my mouth is the most satisfying thing in life for me. This is my goal for the end of the week. Let's make it happen.
All the best,
H

My friend. Backburner is a way of life. Should have got that number and hit her up on her birthday.
True that. Suppose next time I go in and we inevitably chat some more I'll crack a half-joke about taking her out on her bday and see how she bites. I mistakingly told her my exact age as I was afraid of overgaming by playing "mr. mysterious" too much.

Dude if she dug you after that, I think you're solid. Girls do tend to "dig older men". It's atleast the number one vibe I get with girls who have a year or so on me that aren't immediately into me after getting real my age on the few occasions it happens.

I don't know the jury is out as I ejected immediately after age was brought up. the set went like this:
After some light teasing as I'm getting my food, I go over to the register for her to ring me out.
Me: My name is stalin, whats yours? (I kept my name a mystery to her and she asked if she ever got my name last time I was there)
Her: I'm xxxx
*shake hands*
Me: So how about I get that number this time
Her: Well I gotta ask how old are you?
Me: How old do I look
Her: hmmm 24?
Me: Close
(a little teasing back and forth and she gets my age)
Her: Ahhh see I'm 17
*makes a scrunchy face*
Me: brutal
Her: brutal haha
Me: well see ya later
Her: see ya later
*leave*

And in a couple of months she wont.
Im currently on the hunt for a 19 years old. I want to be able to say on my next birthday that im dating someone half my age.

When you are blue pill, most of the girls reject you because they are too much for you.
When you turn red pill, most of the girls reject you because you are too much for them.
Everybody wants a Ferrari. Not everyone can afford one.
And even then, it still will be too much for them, an ammount they rather keep stashed away rather than spending it. She sees all the cool thing that will be going on in her life with you around and since its so much more than she is able or willing to give, shed rather tell herself that you are "incompatible" and have a shallow relationship-of-sorts with one of the cookie cutter hipsters she is used to handle.
She seems like a cool gal though.
Tell her you see her only as a friend, nothing more. Then proceed to go out with her, be your usual cool, and make no moves at her (plan your activities with her in such a way that she cant booty call someone else after seeing you, perhaps ending them late or doing some sort of social group thing where there would be other women (cockblockers) keeping her in check). After 2 or 3 of such "dates", make her stay over at your place somehow and give her a pillow and a blanket and point her to the couch. Leave your door unlocked, she will crawl into your bed before morning.
Well, I ended up banging that girl with the boyfriend. Guess the videotape is now in her boyfriend's clutches. A couple lessons learned:
1) It's cool to take a break from game for a couple weeks at most. Taking off more than a month is asking for your quality of life to decline. This past February and January have been some of the most boring months of my life, with little to talk to people about and only one girl (briefly) in my life.
2) Having sex is something to be earnestly desired at all times. For a couple months I thought I was "over" having sex and "didn't care" about getting laid. What a bunch of fucking bullshit that was! Getting laid is a good axis for my life to revolve around. It's a great ongoing goal to have in life. Disregarding it is stupid. Sure, you may occasionally have bad sex, or bad hookups, but it's stupid to give up on getting laid completely.

Quote of the day.
- - -
Been on a 3 week dry spell since I broke up with my LTR. Been approaching like mad, feels good.
Went out three weekends in a row, which is uncommon for me.
First one approached 20 girls and got nothing. Second one made out with two 6's but no sex (though I'm pretty sure I could have banged one - bailed after witnessing her drunkenly stuff her face with fast food). Yesterday got very close to dragging a cute chick home but got cockblocked by her friends.
Friday night (2 weeks ago) after banging this girl in Manila, she used a feminine douche to wash her vagina out. I must of not noticed because she left it in the shower where the next girl found it Saturday afternoon. Of course she confronted me about it but I just said it was included with some other toiletries for my stay here in this apartment
Later that night the next girl found it in the trash and started to get pissy about it. I used the same excuse and she eventually had no choice but to believe it.
Hold your frame gents
Also, I've been casually gaming this Haitian chick over text/phone for the last three weeks as we could not really meet because of travel and she works nights because of profession. I can tell that the wait has been making her wet from anticipation so I finally invite her over Friday night. She tells me she's never had a guy make her wait this long and it made her frustrated (sexually?) and eager to meet.
After having a drink of wine and maybe watching 20 minutes of some movies on Hulu, we make out and eventually have sex on the couch. She ends up being an overnight but I at least had fun With her.
Just a reminder that having options and a busy life is good in the eyes of many women.
This isn't advice on women necessarily, but it's to help my younger brother who's a Junior in High School.
Kid works out, I make sure his style is above par for his age(bar a few goofy Aeropostale hoodies), and he's generally a book smart kid.
The issue is that I can't break it down for him that he needs to stop being a whiny millennial bitch. For fuck's sake we're part of an immigrant family and lived in the hood when we moved to the States. The last straw was that he didn't even have the self-restraint to not curse in front of my mother when I saw him today.
My mom had to restrain me from kicking his ass. How should I break it down for this stubborn kid? Help him improve his mentality and tell him to ditch his shitty nerdy friends. I don't want my own blood to turn into Elliot Rodger since he's already acting confrontational and saying the usual "You don't understand me" bullshit. Thankfully I'm taking steps already with the youngest brother so he can grow up better.

All the best,

You think you can get him to check out the forum?
Maybe soft sell it to him some way instead of prosthelytize;
"yeah, after I started reading this one site on male improvement, it helped me start getting with and dating higher quality girls (or what his big interests are). A lot of guys on there who walk the walk giving great ideas"
Or some such. Some way to get him exposed to the red pill.

I'm trying to give him bits of the red pill, but as I've said he's too stuck in that whiny bubble of his. The "you don't understand me" bullshit even though I barely have a few years on him. He takes the worst part of our own father's social awkwardness and stubbornness then mixes it with a whiny millennial attitude.
He selectively listens to me, but that's about it. His interests are also video games besides his studying and that rabbit hole called reddit. Thankfully he's off social media at the very least.
Right now my goal is to make sure he can even become receptive. He's still in his formative years so I have time, but right now it's about making him see the light.
Second he hits 18 though, I plan to take him to the nearest night club and show him the magic of the game, but that's still a ways away.
