Friday night at the gay dorms. Filipino gay dudes are in the running for gayest in the world.

Yeah many things are open. Greenbelt is open and other malls too. I'm not sure about which restaurants and stores are.
Many clubs are open too. You can go to the Palace (Valk, Pool Club, Revel) and there will be a party.
I'm sure a good amount of foreigners and locals will go out on Christmas. I went out last year and had a good time.

What about the New Year time? Do girls go to their villages or to party islands (Boracay?) or stay in the cities?
I promised earlier in this thread that I would give some specific advice on gaming in Cebu City after I come back from my trip. This is not a trip report, just a few tips for new guys based on my experience. Experienced players who have been to Cebu can skip this post, because most of this stuff is pretty obvious.
Logistics
Staying very close to Ayala mall served me well. When you meet a girl at Ayala and point to the building where you're staying, chances of bringing her to your place increase dramatically. Alternatively, staying in IT Park may work just as well, but I haven't tried. I wouldn't recommend staying close to Mango Square, because it's a shitty neighborhood which is a quick taxi ride (at night) from Ayala and IT park anyway. You can either stay in a hotel or do AirBnB. I tried both. AirBnB is better value for money.
Online game
Use Tinder, Date in Asia (free) and Filipino Cupid if you're willing to pay for it. You can also try Skout and OK Cupid.
Pipeline on Tinder before your trip by changing location (Fake GPS app on Android). No need to pay for Tinder Plus - there aren't enough good matches to run out of swipes. In Cebu, use Tinder on wifi networks, because it doesn't work on mobile internet most of the time.
Get a bunch of numbers from DIA and FC before the trip as well. Save them in your phone and rate by quality to prioritize later.
Get a local sim card when you arrive (Globe works well). Use whatsapp and viber to message girls. Viber is more popular. Girls always run out of credit or lose internet connection, so use text messages or calls to back up viber/whatsapp if she's supposed to show up and doesn't respond.
Get full body pics from girls before meeting to screen for SIFs, uglies, and very short girls. Either ask for their facebook or to exchange additional pics on whatsapp/viber.
Some girls mentioned they skyped with guys before meeting, but I never do it because it's not time efficient. A couple of girls even asked me if they had skyped with me before, so clearly they're either stupid or skype with so many guys that there's not much point wasting time on it.
Overbook dates: schedule at least 3 for the same day, more if possible. Even double or triple book the same time slots. Many girls flake or show up very late. If you are staying near Ayala, just ask several girls to let you know when they are around and meet them then.
Zero date bang model works fine with some girls. If the girl doesn't agree to meet at your place to "watch a movie" or "hang out by the swimming pool", suggest to meet for coffee or drink nearby as a second option. I would advise against inviting them for dinner, but you can always "upgrade" from coffee to dinner or drinks during the date if you feel like it. It's all cheap by Western standards anyway.
Night Game
Mango Square: It's shitty and filthy, but your chances of getting laid are the highest there. Lots of people on Friday/Saturday nights, but good during the week too. Like Cyclone recommended in his report, just bounce from once club to another (or even stay at the same club if you like it) and something will stick. Make sure the girl is not working. Ask her straight up if necessary. Don't just settle for the first one who likes you, because chances are you'll have a few options.
LIV: a higher end club, located in City Times Square, pretty far away from everything else. I've been there two times and don't recommend it for game based on my experience. During the week, it's pretty empty.
I haven't checked out Distillery but heard good things about it.
Miscellaneous
Bring nice clothes with you: dress shirts, polo shirts, nice jeans and shoes. Bringing a suit to Cebu is probably overkill. If you do, definitely don't wear it to Mango Square.
No need to stay at expensive places and otherwise throw money around. It may work against you. Overall, Cebu City is cheap, much cheaper than Manila, for example.
Stay away from ghetto girls. The more ghetto the flakier/stupider they are and the more likely they are to ask for taxi money and other favors. Nothing wrong with paying for girl's taxi btw, but if you do, keep in mind that a taxi ride is <100 pesos to most places in Cebu. 300 pesos is enough for a 1 hour one way trip outside the city.
Wrap it up. These chicks get more dick than a urinal.
Good post there Brodiaga. I'm of the Skype before the meet school. Reduces flakes and thus the need for triple booking which means its actually not so time inefficient. Also its nice way to screen. The trick is to meet the elusive middle class girls who haven't been riding the foreigner carousel too much and aren't just looking for a free meal. Quezon city is a great place for large numbers of these girls in my experience.

While I like Brodiaga's post, this also rings true ^
I was so close to getting Skype burnout when I went to Manila on my first trip, and I found that girls from QC were much less flakier than those in Makati.

I'm willing to learn from you guys, that's why we are here. I definitely wasted some valuable time on flakes, SIFs and secret uglies. This could have been avoided by using skype.
When do you skype them, though, when you pipeline from a different time zone? I usually pipeline in the evening which is morning in SEA, so many girls are at work or college at that time.
Also, it would be great to learn more about screening for ghetto girls and gold diggers efficiently. Using Tinder (as opposed to FC or DIA) helps, but it's not a guarantee.

It wasn't easy with the time difference. I had skype on both my laptop and phone. In the evenings after work, I'd skype with girls who used it at work. But my phone was blowing up in the mornings while I was at work because it was evening for them. It was impossible to keep up, and I would not repeat this again.
I don't Skype from overseas or pipeline. Contact when in country and meet within a week or so. But I visit longer term so I guess I would pipeline if I only had a short stay in the Philippines.
It probably doesn't need saying to readers of this thread, but Manila and especially Makati is sin city, ground zero for gold diggers and sluts of every kind. There is no lack of dick for these girls. Have your guard up.
I'm sleeping with this girl at the moment and trying to get at her roommate, which I've been completely transparent and unapologetic about the whole time since the first night we all met. At the moment I'm working on turning it into a little love triangle, and the one I'm hitting isn't happy with it. She's starting to lower her defenses but just hides the whining behind "jokes." You know the drill.
So, she was "joking" with me about it this morning while we're lying there in bed. "Tears in Heaven" was playing on her phone, and she mentioned how I wasn't going to heaven because I'm too "naughty" and can't be happy with just one girl.
I just cracked back at her for a bit.
About 20 minutes later, I looked down, and the cross that I wear around my neck, that I've had for about 10 years, had broken completely in two...

Are you guys over-exaggerating a bit or are you really getting that much flaking?
Is this mostly online broads?
All the girls who flaked were online broads who I didn't screen very well. Also, perhaps I didn't spend enough time to build rapport with them before asking them to meet up. I was only in Cebu for 12 days. If I lived there or stayed there longer, I would be able to spend more time screening and getting them interested enough to not flake.
In fairness, only a couple of of girls didn't show up at all, but several were very late. One was 6 hours late. When you try to schedule 2 or 3 dates on a weekday, if one girl is late, you either have to cancel with her or other girls.

Show yourselves.
This is gonna be an empty room, BB. I know some others but they're not RVF guys.

Yeah, when on a short trip it's kind of helter skelter. I'm in BKK now and just rolling with whatever turns up, screening hard and fast, etc. When you live somewhere the experience is really different.
@DD - Nice find. Back in Manila I sometimes hang out with a 22 year old rookie customs official. She says drug pour through the docks all day long. As a worker you can either keep your mouth shut and have no trouble or confiscate the package. If you do the latter it's possible the cartels have plants in the offices who will tell the drug dealers who did it. She says the cops around the docks are all dirty too. You can imagine not many confiscate packages. At this point she's trying to get moved into an office position as the whole scene is too heavy for her. Basically her experience confirms everything in that video.

*raising hand* - but I'm mostly reading here, feel like I lack the experience to post new material, and what I know is already on here multiple times - Thank you all
Guys, I expect to fly in next week.. When walking in a city I continuously look at Google Maps to know where I am. This has served me well accross Europe. I've heard some stories about people getting robbed violently in SEA when showing their smartphone in public. Now I'm not too worried because I'm tall (1.90M) and I've never been attacked in the streets, but I just want to make sure that won't make scum there resort to stab 'n grab, if you know what I mean.
