It's a departure thing only. That's when they know 100% you're trying to catch a plane and will therefore be less likely to refuse to cough up the money.

Is anyone that's in Davao staying at Jun n Dell apartelle? How long has it taken them to respond to an email when booking your reservation? Im less than two months out but its been a few days since I sent an email to them and still haven't received a response.

After the better part of a decade in Asia, the last thing on my mind is trying to stack up as many notches as I can. I mean, when I get drunk I tear through the numbers just like the next guy but it's not a big priority for me and hasn't been for ages. In Davao, I approached 3 or 4 Korean girls and they had the same reaction to me, as you described. The difference in quality between them and the local female population was quite noticeable, so I couldn't help but cold approach them.
Kind of like a Colombian girl in Ecuador or Peru.
