Spicy Fingers? I've been there, it was full of hookers too.
Not quite like Havana though. If there is anyone claiming Havana is not wall to wall hookers, I can meet them at the balcony above the place in front of Greenbelt 3 and we can play a little game I like to call "Spot the Prostitute". I doubt you can pick up any locals there because the name Cafe Havana is so associated with prostitution that regular women don't even come near it when they're walking across.
In the meantime I made friends with some upper-mid end locals, they're saying all the night action is in the Fort nowadays.
....Did you even read my post?
I said "even an iffy place like Spicy Fingers" (iffy as in there are prostitues, if you need that explained) has some normal girls with money popping in with their friends (usally with local dates or mixed groups) too. Big Hint: they are not the ones sitting or standing near the bar. lol But yes, it is a music venue as well, at least one singer there is considered somewhat of a local celebrity. It's seedy, no doubt, but even with the prowlers at the bar it's more of a tourist place than a sex tourist place.
I met a wealthier girl there that took me all over the city, paying for everything and wouldn't even bang after three dates. She clearly has a thing for foreigners, but she was far from a prostitute - owns a chain of businesses, several prime pieces of real estate, and travels somewhere different in the world every few months. She would go into Spicy Fingers but won't step a foot towards Havana. Still lives with her parents at a quarter century old. You get that with these young wealthy girls sometimes in these big cities - they get a taste for that foreign meat and spend their nights out just on the edge of naughty town but not right up in it, seeing what they can skim off the top.
I have also lived in Southeast Asian countries for the better part of a decade and all too intimately know the difference between a hooker and a normal woman (unfortunately). I've shored more of those sluts in various location than I could possibly want to remember. I'm no newb at this.
So yes, locals go there. Also peek your head in the nicer restaurants in Greenbelt 1 and you'll see them in their groups. Again, usually mixed. Or peek your head into one of the very classy adjoining malls - with all that shopping, are you really going to come in here and imply there's no meeting normal women in Greenbelt just because Havana is a dirty whore scab?
Nah, that's not the way it is. Walk into the damn mall and see who's in there shopping because it sure as hell isn't all foriegners by a long shot. If you're really struggling to find the fancy restaurants and wine bars where people walk into eat, head out to the curb and see what the people who are catching taxis look like. Obviously, a man will need street sense because there are a lot of traps in GB, but focus on the right venues and the right girls and it's not a dead end either.
I don't necessarily recommend Spicy Fingers unless you really know the difference between a hooker and real person, but I go there for the music anyways and generally just ignore the girls completely, so for me it's a wash. I turn down the dances and offers to sit down, hold my brew, and rock my head to the music - if something tumbles out the other end, fine, but I most certainly do not go to that particular place to pick up girls.
I also agreed Havana was wall-to-wall hookers, so again, you're straw manning there too. Nobody has claimed differently from that at all. So I guess you'll be going to play "spot the prostitute" yourself...
And for the record, since I'm sure I can imagine what you'll say next, I'm not setting GB out as a prime location to go meet tail. That was not the point. All I was saying is that the one particular venue is not reflective of the entire place.
By the way, you had to meet a local to tell you the action was at the Fort? Come on, man...fair enough if you haven't scoured all the data on the forum, but don't make like you're giving the lay of the land if you're going to share such a common sense piece of info like it's an insider revalation or something.
Your posts seem really suspect, and maybe that's your personality or a language barrier/cultural difference - but if you're going to keep coming in to supposedly fill us in, at least read the posts you're replying to.
