However, if you live in a building with Fiber you can get 50mps as a starter plan and up to 1G if you really need that kind of speed. Even the 5-10mbs DSL is good enough for webinars, screen sharing, Webex, Skype, Hangouts, FTP upload/downloads, etc.

I have to agree. I live in BGC and its the ONLY place in the entire Manila area I would live in. Not even close. Makati is much nicer then the other areas but the pollution levels are just insane.

Sorry for the lag - it was pretty easy to screen for hookers for me somehow perhaps I've spent a lot of time in Asia. I just checked FC just for fun after a long lull. Wow the quality of girls are pretty slim. Makes tinder seem like a buffet. I don't get the hype to be honest. Talking to them, seems like a decent number have very poor english skills to the girls I chat via tinder. Maybe if you are fresh from the west might seem like a gold mine, but these girls are pretty low quality. I found out that Tinder doesn't work with a Smart SIM card when I was in Manila (Makati). So I always had to find WiFi when I wanted to use Tinder in Manila. In Cebu I had no problems with Smart except for a 24 hour period when I had no signal at all. On my first trip I used Globe and Tinder worked in Cebu and Manila.

Guys, Tinder won't work properly on any mobile network here. Globe is better than Smart but get on a DSL or Fiber network to use it. Anything coming off towers is going to give you problems.

What I used to do in Cebu was straight up tell girls on Tinder that I am only in town for a couple of days and that I am looking for a "sexual girl to have fun with". I probably wouldn't do this in any other country but in Cebu it worked pretty well for me. The only problem is that if you are staying longer than a week you will run out of prospects very fast with that direct approach. You're right. Everyone was out due to the holiday and now im getting messages back. Still not matching with many 8's. Problem is the 8's here act like 9's due to the sheer lack of numbers.
