Let's look at a hard-line solution: "Put that guy in jail throw away key etc." Prison costs over 30K a year per person. I made less than that and had dozens of clients to watch. Expense wise, if I prevented one murder in MY WHOLE CAREER which saved 40 years imprisonment at 30k,
that would pay my salary for god-knows-how-long. Now the hard liner can argue "Instant capital punishment". Well, that's not the way things work, so you're in the fantasy land now. We have to start somewhere until you get your martial law state established OK?

I have several European FB "friends" that I have met during my travels. There are 3 that seem to have any concern about the migrants. 2 of them are my Hungarian ex-girlfriend and her sister. The other is a left leaning friend from Zurich who is actually very concerned about the mass of migrants coming into his country.

The rest are liking and sharing pro mass migration/refugee welcome prop. This will be my last post on this matter as I have been spending way to much mental and physical energy on this issue. I cannot be of use to anyone or any cause by beating my head against the wall.

I will work to establish a homeland in the North American continent for my fellow-red pill men. Good luck to the Europeans. If you're going to go down, at least go down with a fight.

mrbiggs, I've bene spending way too much energy on this as well. I love Europe but the fact is I can literally do nothing about this issue. I am now more appreciative that I live in America - I'll just enjoy my life here and stop dreaming about one day living in Europe.

I've been following this thread since the start and have read some media reports, but I still have several questions regarding the migrant situation Hungary is facing. I'm hoping someone knowledgeable here can help me understand it more completely, specifically the train situation where there was a standoff with police and "refugees" who were refusing food/water:

1) Where are these people entering Hungary from? Is it Serbia? Are they all coming directly from Syria by land, by sea? Were they living/safe in Turkey and then decided to take a crack at entering the EU? Who is paying for their transportation?

I found some interesting quotes on refugees and their rights:

2a) Are these migrants being stopped at the border or are they being allowed to enter Hungary then kept in another location within the country? Did Hungary do anything illegal by not allowing them to continue to Germany? Is the country within it's rights to hold migrants who are currently at camps?

2b) Does possessing a train ticket to Germany, who are accepting refugees, exempt these people from Hungarian border control, thus allowing them to enter the Schengen Area hassle-free?

I'm asking because the information out there can be used to argue both sides and I'm wondering which is correct in legal terms. On one hand it seems Hungary can process and refuse them if they don't meet refugee criteria. But on the other hand they are just a route country with Germany being the host, so perhaps it is up to Germany to process them? Also the question if they are coming in mass or not appears to play a factor as well.

Any answers and/or clarifications are much appreciated.

Also with regard to this being unplanned and completely chaotic.

Don't think for a moment that the real elite (not the bumbling PR fools who are politicians) don't have exact plans on how to deal with it all. They will probably spread "the love" around with some financial incentives until all countries accept some refugees - I guess even countries like Poland or Hungary will get 100.000+ with sufficient financial aid. All the people know is that they take in little or that Denmark is starting to send them back. But then when the news have subsided they are silently accepted into those countries anyway.

The plan is for Europe to become so diverse, so poor, so violently chaotic that the people will never be able to rise in unison. Also they will accept more easily a 1984 surveillance police state in the future because all those jobless migrants won't be happy sitting at home and playing Playstation. Sooner or later there will be plenty of unrest.

An then the EU will say: "We hear you. You want security in order to deal with the terrible situation (that we have caused in the first place). How about we chip you all and install cameras at home? That way we can quell all those nasty terrorists and rioters that have unfortunately cropped up in Europe somehow."

Sooner or later something like this will come - it may not be chips or cameras, it may be something else in that way. Strong legal pot would certainly help - get some pot with your free medical weed and it life in Absurdistan doesn't sound so bad.

Problem - Cause - Effect.

Yes the Elite keep us distracted with this nonsense, while important things like the economy are put on the backburner.

The problem is these migrants will mostly end up in the UK. All these other nations are just giving lip service.

Denmark has never been tolerant of these "kind" of people, a few years back they were paying Non - EU people to leave the country.

Iceland is underpopulated, a lot of their natives left during the banking crisis. Although there has been a recent influx of Poles, which hasn't delighted the locals.

Getting jobs in Germany has never been easy, this I have witnessed and was told by an Austrian girl who was looking many years ago.

So I would say Europe isn't dying, I mean as you can see the migrants were only passing through Hungary. They certainly didn't setup shop in Croatia or Serbia and they didn't settle down with their muslim brethren in Bosnia.

It appears that the UN is now pushing the radical far right wing agenda by pointing out that 72% of the Migrants are MEN. This is extremely worrisome as the UN is a heroic organization to me. They have been some of the top progressive thought leaders in the push for Diversity. As we have been told by reputable media organizations such as the BBC, most of the migrants are cute schoolchildren. This UN report does not fit in with this narrative, so the only conclusion I can make is that Neo Nazis have infiltrated the UN.

In fact, Denmark used to have the most generous refugee benefits on the continent. This was around the year 2000 or so.

Refugees heavily gamed the system by traveling through a bunch of safe Euro neighbor countries to all claim asylum in Denmark.

Denmark learned its lesson back then. They understood that the only way to reduce the outsized number of claims was to reduce pull factors.

I guess you won't see that on CNN, the BBC or any of the mainstream media in the West.

Didn't see a lot of women in there and the UN itself says 75% of these "migrants" are men.

As Mark Steyn says, this looks like an invasion most of the time.

It's particularly crazy that the EU leaders are welcoming all these people given Europe's incredibly fragile economies, with unemployment above 25% in some countries and age groups and a reeling social services system.

I don't think the EU bureaucrats could manage a lemonade stand right now, let alone deal with this crisis effectively. That's why all they've got is the "human rights" angle. There's literally zero planning for this, even despite the fact that this situation has been building up for years now in places like Greece and Italy and elsewhere all over the continent.

Just think of the Brits and the German civilians. In America we can at least defend our families here. Nearly 50% of households have guns. Theoretically the civilians of this country by themselves could put down an uprising of thousands of Islamic fanatics within weeks. Furthermore, Governors would call out the police and the Guard to help quell any such uprising. But in Britain you're dealing with a government that covered up 1400 British girls being raped in Rotherham and arrested unarmed fathers who wanted to do something about it. In Germany you're dealing with spiteful bitch Merkel who punished Dresden for the PEGIDA movement by settling thousands of refugees there.

There's a good chance they will live through hell if what I'm predicting comes to pass.

Do you not realize that it's the same shit here in North America? We had(have) a refugee crisis just like this with all these people from central America crossing the border, many of them minors. Anyone that called for sending them home was vilified as a vile racist. Fleeing Europe to N. America doesn't solve your problem.

On 2 September, the head of the Finnish Lutheran Church, Archbishop Kari Makinen, urged members to take in refugees.

Soon after, 196 people resigned from the Church in one day, compared to 80 people on a typical day.

"As the Finnish Church wants to help house IS fighters in Finland, I do not accept it," one person wrote on a website through which members can resign.

"The Church no longer defends Christian values, they support Islam's entry into Finland. Shame on you fools," wrote another.

Among the most common concerns held by Finns, the state broadcaster says, is that:

• accepting more refugees leads to more crime
• asylum seekers do not look to learn Finnish
• reception centres are too expensive
  

These are concerns, it says, that are generally unfounded but widely shared.

Many anti-immigration bloggers concentrate on the financial burden of accepting more refugees. Finland's economy has slumped in recent years, having been in recession for three consecutive years.

In one protest against a new refugee centre last week, one demonstrator said: "Everything has been taken from the unemployed, the poor and the sick. But the coffers are empty.

"If these centres open, our taxes will go up."

Hate speech

On social media, there are many tales to be found, true or not, of attacks by immigrants. They are often widely shared, but we could not find confirmation of the attacks in Finnish media.

In one Facebook post written on 6 September, a man in western Finland detailed an alleged assault on two 12-year-old girls, purportedly by immigrants.

"These people are paperless asylum seekers whose backgrounds nobody in authority knows," the post said.

The post went on to be shared by more than 2,000 people and attracted many replies criticising immigrants.

Vitriolic comments are increasingly common. Last week, two large media groups closed comments on their websites because of what state broadcaster Yle called "a flood of hate speech and weak quality discussion".

"Particularly within the past year, the debate has become very sharp and aggressive, even including hate speech," Yle editorial director Atte Jaaskelainen said.

Marches in favour of multiculturalism have taken place in Finnish cities, with one - organised after Olli Immonen's comments in July - drew several thousand people in Helsinki.

In Finland's mainly neutral press, immigration is now rarely off the front pages. Articles concentrate largely on the plight of migrants and the work being done to help them.

Online, the voices speaking on behalf of immigration in Finland are more in evidence than those against.

On 12 September, a picnic to welcome migrants will be held in the capital, and has attracted more than 4,300 supporters on Facebook.

Meanwhile, another Facebook page named Ennenolin Pakolainen (I was a refugee before) has drawn more than 17,000 likes and compiles the stories of people who were refugees and what they are now doing in Finland - among them a trainee pilot, a nurse and a model.

Elsewhere, the Twitter account @TorillaOnTilaa brings together messages welcoming migrants - including many by Finnish national football team players.

"We are all equal," Fortuna Dusseldorf player Joel Pohjanpalo wrote.

I don't think the Europeans are at all pleased about this.

I was reading the Guardian today attacking Orban.

Even its readership was calling them out for attacking a patriotic leader.

Before I would say this was propaganda, but I witnessed this behavior first hand when I went to Scandinavia last summer. Refugees were all out brawling in a restaurant while we were eating. Everyone (locals and tourist) ran out except my Russian friend and myself. Thought it was an isolated event until I went to Norway and my friend almost got into a fight with East African refugees who were walking in packs around 3 A.M. But who am i kidding those were just coincidences
