RE: At what point do men hit the wall?
I was saying that everything else being equal, balding probably counts against most guys. Obviously there are things that can matter more and some girls are into the shaved head. Also it's about you present yourself. If it looks like are trying to hide something, that can be a turnoff.

I've heard girls talk shit about guys who used tobhavevhair but are now balding- guys that they used to crushes on.

This is not to diminish the power of game, but to give it even more credit.

The difference between men and women is that female game is almost entirely dependent on looks, whereas with guys, looks can make a huge difference but they don't count for everything. Example is that a good looking guy still needs game, but a hot girl can even be a total psycho and will still have people kissing her ass.

It's not healthy for men to use celebrities to gauge where the wall is, or really for anything else. They have unlimited resources to maintain a younger look, and more than likely have gay men dressing them in the morning.

Women worship celebrities and Hollywood, and look what it does to them. Men needs to leave it alone.

If you have a head shaped like Michael Jordan, you can look good bald. Samuel L Jackson and Bruce Willis also look good bald. But for most guys, being bald won't make them more attractive.

Shave your head when you are balding. Pray that you had good head genetics. If not, don't focus on your head and become confident. When your bald, go for more masculine dominant game.

Game plan is to max out on other areas of attraction- get ripped, famous, rich, dress as best you can, sharpen your tongue, move like alpha.. I'd try some combination of these if not all.

At what point do men hit the wall?

When they stop giving a shit about themselves.

I'm 21 and hit the wall when I stopped exercising and got bloated. Now I have to get myself off the wall.

RE: At what point do men hit the wall?
Bumping this thread since I just got schooled by my very-healthy-living main girl.

My question is, do the Wall affects men just like they do women? And how do poor lifestyle choice accelerate the wall for man?

I am in ok shape (not scultped but I have a decent six packs) and do a lot of sport (martial arts, lifting and dancing total about 20h/week), but I also make poor diet choice.

I eat a fuck ton of meat with fatty cuts, eggs, quite a lot sugar, a lot of pastry (Im in Paris goddamn do they bake good stuffs here Tongue) and 4-10 drinks a week depending. I also have the bad habit of staying up late and waking up late. I think this is why I have a problem with low energy sometimes. I dont smoke or drugs though.

Despite this I've always remain fit, so when my girl who eats nothing but bio/whole food keep pushing me to eat better I just touch my 6 packs and make fun of her.

But all this talk about the wall is making me cringe. Would I wake up one day in my late 40s and suddenly look in the mirror and find a wrinkled old man with white hair and a beer belly like some betas cubicle worker, assuming that my lifestyle doesn't change?

Any of you who make it through your 30s drinking and feasting and partying and still looking sharp in your 40s?

It's in the 45 to 55 yr old range.

If you drink and smoke and don't work out hard, you'll look pretty beat-up by 45.

RE: At what point do men hit the wall?
It's been well-documented within these walls that us men have to work for every last achievement, and accomplishment we receive in this life.

Some guys are claiming late 30's/early 40's is when the slide begins. As a guy in that age range, I'm a standing testament to the contrary (as are many others here).

In fact, my goal is to continue to beat the odds - in style

Live an active lifestyle, and surround yourself with positivity. You may even have to shrink your circle because negativity ages you.

All in all barring serious illness, we hit the wall once we become complacent

White guys must tan, or use a balding clipper with no plastic piece, just the raw blades. This leaves a subtle shadow which is good, pure bald, as in with a razor does not look good on white guys ( unless you tan )

The other option is to get a hair piece, they are getting damn good, and I agree with soup, that it's the number one 'ager'. You can have wrinkles, eye bags, face lines, but if you have a good head of hair, you'll look pretty cool.

William Shatner uses a hair-piece, it's a good one. He'd look considerable less cool being bald.

If you're gonna go bald then own it:

Statham isn't even 50 and his hairline receded almost all the way to the back leaving that dreaded little tufft in the top of his head. He doesn't even shave it, just buzzes it down close to his scalp. He also has a killer smile, chiseled facial lines, and his body is carved out of wood. Bald won't matter if you if you keep the other shit in check. Most men grow into their faces as they get older. Signs of age make men look more distinguished and mature.

Using guys like Statham, Craig, Pitt, etc. as measuring sticks, know that your ceiling is pretty damn high as long as you take care of yourself. Stay away excessively shitty habits like drinking and smoking too much and keep your body in check.

I'm just shy of 30 and these things have been on my mind a lot lately.

I honestly think it's about mid-30's when it starts to hit. It's not abrupt like it is with women, but stuff starts slowly creeping up on you. Different guys will be able to push it back depending on lifestyle, and money which will afford them a better lifestyle and healthcare. However, eventual decline and, ultimately, death is inevitable.

LOL I hit the wall in the US Navy Nuclear Submarines Service decades ago and I am still running game on 20 somethings (7s to 9s) NO SIFs and No Psychos except for the stray vegan or hipster - and - a few 30+ ladies in the 7, 8, 9 range - when the body fails the mind has to take control. RE: At what point do men hit the wall?
Men don't hit the wall, they gradually slide until they hit the gutter. Although in all fairness, some, maybe most, actually spend all their time there. But even then they can climb back up again. Look at Bukowski or Houellebecq - old and ugly as shit, they still get/got more young, smart groupies than they can/could handle. They're deep thinkers, they're famous. Nothing else matters.

If you have great game and money/power/status, you can pull into your 50s and 60s, and even beyond. Hitting the wall refers to women's shorter, but much stronger window of attraction, menopause and the end of fertility. If you're a woman, it doesn't matter what you have or don't have, you can't compete with younger women anyway, and certainly not get top, young mates if you're old and ugly, just because you have some position or ability.

RE: At what point do men hit the wall?
Men don't have walls, they have ditches. Even a 70yo loser is a lotto win away from landing a decent young wife somewhere on the planet.
The 'wall' we speak of with women, is pinned to a very consistent universal aspect of their attractiveness - fertility. They all share this in common.
Men on the other hand, have much more varied attractive traits, with different time payoff profiles, consistent with the highly varied nature of humanity. Men compete in the arenas of the multitude of virtues of humanity, and women pick the winners from the arenas they most prefer, with the hottest women getting first pick.

I know of several men who are already in the ditch, and it's extremely unlikely they will escape, in their mid-20s to late 20s. For them, the peak was probably early 20s. On the other hand I know guys who had nothing good come their way in their late teens / early 20s, who are slowly becoming bigger and bigger men with every year due to their slow-burning virtuous traits. These are the men who are going to peak around 40.

Then you have to factor in physical appearance degradation. I remember meeting one guy who was 50, who I'd have pegged at around 35 at first glance - very strong youthful physical appearance. On the other hand I know a guy who is about 25 who looks about 40 and terrible. Of course you have some control over it too.

However it's all very academic. A 30yo millionaire is more impressive than a 50yo millionaire. It is more prudent to think "what do I do to become as big as possible, as fast as possible" rather than thinking "when is my theoretical peak?". The former gets you to your peak, the latter makes you procrastinate.

I'm just shy of 30 and these things have been on my mind a lot lately.

That's been my haircut (occasionally completely shaved, but usually 2 mm) even dating back a couple of years prior to when I slowly but steadily started balding in my mid 20s (38 now and marginally more hair left than Statham).
Same with the facial hair - same length as my hair.

Balding has never bothered me at all, and though I certainly won't rule out that it might have cost me my chances with some women, I've never actively noticed it being a hindrance.

I'm sure going bald isn't helping if you're also growing a pot belly and deciding to proudly keep what little hair is left at normal length, but stay in good shape and do that buzzcut/shave (I won't pretend to make additional fashion comments, I'm still heavily partial to fitted v-neck t-shirts and blue jeans in most circumstances) and I really don't think it's a problem, let alone an example of hitting the male wall.

I always find comparisons to apex men to be hilarious. She's not with him for his looks. She's primarily with him because he's world-famous. "My boyfriend is Jason Statham" must have a hell of a ring to it. The $40M net worth doesn't hurt either. His masculine looks are probably part of it, but not the core of it. What he can get is only relevant to us if we're world-famous too.

I know I know. Just wanted a relevant excuse to post a pic of Rosie. I'm not personally the type to size myself up to other dudes who are in a league far beyond mine - but what I'm really trying to get is that you can still look and feel amazing in your 40's and 50's with the proper lifestyle.

Probably safe to say 60's is where things generally start to physically wind down for you regardless of your status and resources. Look at the top tier men out there as far as looks and access to great personal trainers and whatnot and see where they are at. Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Russell, all in their 60's and finally looking old and tired.
