I'm not much of a gamer. Sort of jumped the shark with the ME trilogy. Nothing really else I'm interested in. Picked the guitar back up instead, and will continue my drawing more when I start traveling again.

I was talking to a buddy of mine...we get in these philosophical talks all the time. He's the most high-on-life guy I've ever met. We were talking about how getting older gives you a sense of scale and perspective, and how "one life" really starts to hit home.

At the same time, I've always had a bit of nihilistic side due to my interest in astronomy and cosmology. Once you start to realize the scale of Earth, its lifeforms, the history of humans, etc, it makes it hard to take things very seriously.

In other news, got a number from a super cute asian girl tonight at a Korean coffeeshop. Was with that same friend. We hit a couple bars downtown and they were packed with lonely and hungry dudes. Spent 60 bucks at a bar on a couple drinks and some sandwiches.

Then we go to a coffeeshop in Ktown and its filled with cute asian girls. $2.50 for a hot tea and struck something up with one of them and got a number. Not only that but it was just more enjoyable for me. I'm getting sick of "bar banter". I can only imagine what it'd be like if I lived in a European city with a true coffee culture.
