Indoor fishing returns to Toronto this weekend

This even has been going on for a few years now to teach otherwise poor kids where food comes from and to give them an experience of fishing that they would not have. These kids are tossing the fish back, I did not think of anything wrong of it, but I guess I am in the minority. I think it is a good program, it is a gimmick, but for kids that young with limited opportunities it is a big deal for them.

100%. These are very basic things that any rational human should be cool with. A kid will learn to respect animals and food more if they know how and where it comes from. Just let the kids be happy, nobody is getting hurt letting them have some fun.

Holy shit I just read the comments on that youtube video of the kids fishing in an indoor swimming pool (WTF?), these weirdos would freak the fuck out if they ever spent time on the east coast around fishermen. As a kid when we went out fishing with friends we had a tradition where the first one to catch a fish had to bite it's head off! We also used to have lobster wars, catch eels and skin them alive, shoot squirrels and sell their pelts for a toonie to fly fishermen and throw rocks at seals for fun.

I've come to the realization that I know only three guys who are into the red pill: My older brother, my roommate and an older acquaintance.

The other guys are just dudes that play Magic cards, play old video games and talk about their hard-on for Trump getting impeached. They think Democrats can do nothing wrong and Republicans can't do anything right. They complain about Republicans all the time on Facebook yet cannot bring themselves to see that they lived in a area dominated by Democrats for decades and can't see any of their flaws but somehow think they're incompetent. It's one of the reason I deactivated because I was fucking tired of seeing complaining on it. Other people who took the red pill left town for other ventures.

I grew up way too fast in my teenage years due to a parent slowly dying of cancer over the high school years, I was too busy on helping the family and finishing school that I didn't bother to talk to someone to vent, go to prom, have a girlfriend or enjoy the last summer before college because I worked to save up for college. I'm not the most stylish guy in the world but wearing dad jeans with rolled up cuffs and runners or Birkenstock sandals is appalling, then they throw on a button up shirt with a tie, what's the point? The guy in the centre looks half decent from the waist up but needs to hem his jeans and buy a pair of black leather shoes. The others are total disasters, look at the guy in the plaid shirt and goofy tie beside him, what was he thinking?

Something I was thinking about the other day. The manosphere generally recommends that in order to be more successful at game, you need to maximize your looks and style, as well as lift. So ideally, a guy who has good facial hair, is jacked, and dresses well will get the most pussy (provided he's got good game etc. etc.) I'm not saying you shouldn't strive for these things, because they are definitely important and are great for your confidence.

Yet what I'm seeing in daily life doesn't really confirm this lol. I'm seeing average guys with average looks and average builds consistently getting hotter girls. Now, I should add that I live in the suburbs of New England, so maybe that's a factor. I don't know. But this is what I've witnessed. And I think I've come to a conclusion: most girls, and I'm gonna stress most, want a non-threatening guy. The problem with looking your best and dressing up is you're putting girls on the defensive about their self-worth, even if said girl is a 9. I really tried to choose my words carefully here because I think some guys will interpret this as "game denialism" or something. But I'm just confirming what I see. I will continue working out and focusing on self-improvement for sure, but I think I am at the point where I know that it's for me only, and will have a minimal impact on my game.
