I have a facebook account but I pretend like I don't have one when trying to talk to chicks. I keep it for friends, family and professional contacts and that's it. It can be a tool for pickup but its one that requires maintenance for which I don't have the time to do.

Mixx is absolutely right, don't have Facebook if your game is mad tight.

Being intermediate, I can leverage the platform to get "good girls" and generally practice being creative with my posts. Slowly but surely I can see how I would deactivate it, but that also throws up a red flag for work purposes.

Facebook game is best run on women who currently read/have read all about "game", hence why they are "good girls" and are next to impossible for a day 1 close. So just use it to show mixed signals all over the place and appear both "beta and alpha". Do agree though, maintenance on the thing is getting less and less possible for me.

Actually, I like this idea.

I reactivated my Facebook.

I will clean my already small (not even 150) friends list and keep it for friends, family, and references for work.

Everyone else is getting the axe.

I'll deactivate it once I am done with my Facebook purge. Maybe fire it up once or twice a year for holidays or when I want to link up with someone who I know will be at my funeral if I were to pass away.

This forum has already helped my game 30x. I am going to delete my Facebook for sure, I realize the time commitment to keepin it up could be used better elsewhere.

I deactivated my Facebook a couple months ago and life is good! No more fake social life, viewing the statuses of people I haven't seen in years, no more photos of dumb hot chicks uploading photos to attention whore and tell us how amazing their lives and BETA boyfriends are!

If anyone is thinking about getting off Facebook, type in Steve Pavlina's article about deactivating Facebook. It feels good to have real life interactions with people now, since I'm not able to look down at my facebook APP and pretend that's real life.

RE: Facebook page being a DLV
I have been pipelining and having decent sucess. I've been experimenting with different techniques in order to get the girl to agree for a meetup.

Gaming them straight on the pipeline website i have i gotten maybe 7 #'s and girls tell me to hit them up.

Some girls are hesitant to meet up because they are scared to meet some guy they don't know.

So i tell them i'll send them my facebook to verify my identity and leave my name. .

SO far both girls have added me right away and been way more responsive to me after seeing my facebook. I have 400 friends and lots of pics.

i never take pictures just get tagged alot. seeing these girls responsiveness to my facebook has motivated me to begin taking pictures of me doing cool things. this is something i've been meaning to work on anyways.

so facebook has its advantages.. however, you don't want a facebook if it is boring.

for someone like the original poster, ya deleting facebook might be in your best interest

Anybody IMPORTANT in your life has your cell phone or better yet, your home telephone etc. email, etc.

I worked in the human resources field for several years after uni. This field you are constantly networking and moving to other companies constantly to grow professionally. I had Facebook then. Thought it would help me network. In theory, it can but in reality it did nothing for me. Fb ,essaye a person to see if they could hook me up in a position, or give me the scoop on an advertised position, they don't deliver. Why do I need an imaginary friend whose purpose was to help me in the first place.? I don't. So goodbye Facebook.

RE: Facebook page being a DLV
I have gotten so much tail from FB and Myspace that its ridiculous, and that doesn't even count all the tail I passed up along the way.

I have had girls fly here from Texas, CA, FLA, NY... had one girl fly me up to Boston (she paid) to hit it all weekend while her BF was out of town...

I am an author, so maintaining a FB profile is not a DLV, it's a marketing necessity... but of course, not only can a girl see my Book stuff, which is a major DHV, but all the other chicks that come around and flirt. I have played this so well that sometimes when I meet a girl that I started online with, she is all nervous and tingly as though I am some major celebrity. (I'm not) They get that shit all worked up in their mind, and who am I to dissuade them from how amazing they think I am? It only gets better when they read my work, which is specifically designed to tug heartstrings and drop panties.

You guys say whatever you like about social media, but it has treated me real well.

Having said that, there's an element to the real-life hunt of approaching that you just can't get from hunting online. It takes more balls in real life, so its more satisfying, I think. In the end, if closing ass is the name of the game, then play on, players!

Sloots gon' sloot.

RE: Facebook page being a DLV
The problem with Facebook is every girl uses it to stalk you and size you up after they meet you. And the issue that arises is that one bad picture of you ruins you. They are looking for a picture of you or a comment made by you to disqualify you from sex. Girls look for reasons to disqualify you....not qualify you. They are looking for a reason to not fuck you. And facebook gives them 100's of chances to get to that point.

It's similar to why Roosh says to not joke in your texts to chicks. To keep it simple because you don't want to fuck it up.

Like I said....one bad photo on your facebook page and you're in deep shit.

Facebook is a waste bro. Deleted my page months ago and I see the whole platform collapsing within five years. It's just a huge billboard where people brag about themselves and post pictures of their stupid fucking kids. It really brings very little value to your life. And the stalking of exes is not good for the soul man. It's the worst thing ever invented when you are going through a break up.

Facebook would work well if people simply kept their close to intermediate friends and they used it for communciation purposes. But that's not what peopel do. They use it as a DHV....when in reality it's a DLV for 80% of the people. Like..."yo...chick....you're fucking busted."

Fuck facebook.

RE: Facebook page being a DLV
Well as a college student I realized how fucking lame Facebook can be. For my first year at college, I had began to think "Wow dude getting this chick's Facebook must be good! I'm a baller now!". It didn't really work out that way haha.

I'm in the middle about Facebook. Like any other online social site like POF/My Yearbook etc, you can use it to your advantage.

Now my game is still at a beginner level and my first make out was at a frat party months ago (Didn't bang, but I'll have some stories if I keep up at this). I will say this after reading up on this site...

I made the stupidest fucking mistake.

So now I've made a personal rule of thumb:
Pre-Bang = Keep your mystery on the high by not telling her you have a facebook.
Post-Bang = Add her, she's now a real friend Smile

RE: Facebook page being a DLV
Being on FakeBook is ok when you're in High School...after that it usually works to your disadvantage.

Defining yourself by "liking" Nespresso, How I met your Mother etc. only demonstrates insecurity and immaturity. There is a thousand ways to make a fool of yourself and, imho, only one way to do it right.

And that is by keeping your profile as simple as possible. A profile picture and place of residence, maybe place of birth or where you graduated should suffice. That's all you really need. If people want to know more about you, that's what real life interaction is for.

You don't need to show photo albums from your last trip to the beach, mountains or caribbeans and all that shit...it's not even interesting and usually makes you come across as trying too hard.

I have been close to deleting my profile several times because I was sick of the superficiality and of people adding me on FB while blatantly ignoring me in real life....but then I decided to keep my account as it doesn't hurt you as long as you keep it as lean and clean as possible.

It's a substitute for having your phone number in the phone book really, nothing more.
