Was that directed at me? I've been called that before and have never been sure how to take it.

Thanks. If only I was taller than 5'9.... Being shortish really hurts my game IMO.

cmrocks, either keep it the length you have it now, or grow it a lot longer than the length in the first picture. Judging by those pictures your hair would look damn good longer. Good amount of waviness. Contrast game is good too. Long ass hair and suited up is very intriguing. Looks like you could lift some more, would make up for the fact you're *only* 5'9. (not that short in America).

Also, props on showing your face man. Balls.

Buy shoes with larger than average heels. You should be able to find a shoe with a 1"-1.5" heel with not much of an issue.

You should be wearing a narrow lapel in a shade of blue. The fit looks decent but the colour is off and the wide lapel and button stance is wrong for you.

And yes, tuck in that shirt. If you want to add a break between your sweater and trouser, wear a lighter belt and match it to some shoes. A good driving moccasin might look good with this and they come in some lighter colours.

Points taken and appreciated -- the cardigan and jacket were quite literally one-off finds so I'm not too sure I'll be quick to ditch them.

I'll make a point to tuck in that shirt whenever I dress like that too.

The jacket's vintage hence the wide lapels. I hear you about the button stance too (it was tailored for someone shorter than me) but what is it about the colour that's off?

I have a couple of blazers in shades of navy and midnight blue -- both DB. Very old money, preppy. I see them as occupying a different level of dress code though; something you'd pair with grey or white slacks or chinos in lieu of a suit. In days gone by the brown tweed jacket would be country wear and the navy blazer for the city.

I haven't thought of adding a break between my top and bottoms. I've heard about it not accentuating height, although being 6' it really shouldn't matter.

Kipp,

Those shirts are from an online tailor called Kent Wang. Here's a link to his website. LINK

Those shirts are the Oxford Cloth Button Down shirts.

I highly recommend his stuff. He makes ready to wear sizes which you can then tweak if necessary for no extra charge. I'm 5'9 tall and I was probably 165 lbs when those were taken last year. I wear a size 15.75 in his shirts. The only thing I've had custom are the sleeves shortened by half an inch.

What would you guys suggest as far as sandals go. I'm always in the beach area and sometimes prefer to use sandals for obvious reasons but I wouldn't mind some tips on which sandals to use and what they go best with.

RE: Let's talk about style, and your looks to bang girls!
I will give a testimonial here to waistcoats. The men at my work mainly dress in short-sleeve button-ups and polo shirts. About a month ago I started wearing long-sleeve button ups (with the sleeves rolled up on hot days), no tie with the second button undone, dress slacks and shoes, and a waistcoat, kind of like the people in these photos. If the waistcoat has a chest pocket, I usually wear a pocket square.

I have gotten a noticeable reaction from the women around me. Women at work walk by my office to see what I'm wearing that day. When I'm out in town, women give me long looks, which is unusual in Japan. When I'm out at night, the staff at restaurants and bars act much more deferentially and both women and men I encounter give more attention. To my surprise, the guys at work haven't given me a hard time about it, perhaps because I project confidence when I'm wearing it, as if it's no big deal. It's an easy way to look more formal without going all the way to a suit. I think if you have a mesomorphic or similar body-type like me, then a waist coat looks fantastic because it accentuates your broad shoulders and helps slim your husky torso. I'm a 41" chest with a 35" waist.

I figured this is the appropriate thread to post about the Hawaiian shirt potential. This is by all means a serious post. I've noticed that chicks dig a good Hawaiian shirt. The keyword is GOOD. There are definitely some unattractive aloha shirts out there, but my go-to is a bright turquoise-and-blue beach themed shirt. Wear it with some jeans and a nice pair of shoes and the compliments will fly at you left and right. Anybody have any experience/want to vouch for the hawaiian shirt?

I live in a city where it isn't very hard to stand out as a well dressed man. The competition usually consists of Hurley tees or affliction. The closest competition I suppose are the hipsters. More often than not, I'd look pretty good when I went out. Lately , I've adopted a completely new look that has faired well with the ladies on the ave. think Matthew mconaughy or whatever the hell from mud.
I dress more and more like a hobo (I have a gf now so I have nothing to live for), and the girls absolutely love it. I can't wait for the summer because I have this comfortable as hell off white linen shirt that i wear daily. It wasn't off white when I bought it btw.

My theory as to why it's so well received is because a lot of the girls in my parts of the world are from small towns or cities. The don't really know how to dress that well either so they're intimidated by a well dressed, dapper man. At the same time, I think the "I'm a hobo and I don't give a fuck" attitude turns them on. Probably appeals to their deep seeded rape fantasies.

RE: Let's talk about style, and your looks to bang girls!
This forum and the Idea of "game" and the "red pill" have changed my life immensely. After having a bad case of oneitis that ended as those situations always do I decided I am missing something in life I am a successful business man and make 10k+ /mo., I am location Independent , I started studying and reading every book I could find including roosh's books, I decided to take my first pussy adventure and I am currently living in Tallinn Estonia for 3 months this summer.

I have only been here a week and had been dressing with normal clothes tshirts jeans etc, I am a fairly handsome guy so I was having a little success but not what I wanted , I decided I wanted to fuck the best girls I can!!

So I consulted this forum and thanks to the advice here I went and spent a few thousand on some really nice gear 007 looking shit, I purchased the best I could find within my budget . Then I decided I needed to wear it with the utmost in confidence and spent an entire day walking around town suited up daygaming, right off the bat I noticed girls giving me much more eye contacts. I got some numbers and found the confidence I needed . I walked around like I was the baddest dude in town, chin up bold stare calm vibe, 007. I had never dressed like this before in my life.

I just kicked the 2 girls I had a three some with lastnight out my door, both 7 or 8 blondes with blue eyes. This was my first night "suited up", I have 4 numbers for prospects from last night on top .......this forum and game have changed my life forevor, thankyou!

Bumping this.

I'm graduating in May and it's time to get a new suit.

Need some suggestions from some style-wise cats. The brand I'm linking here fits me well and I like its elegant, simple look... but then again, I don't really know what to look for in a suit.

My stats: 6'3, 170 pounds. I always wear slim fit clothing and I think my current suit size would be 48L/148-150ish?

Here are the suits I'm looking at. I like the look and the price tag: they're all about 200 dollars. If you have other suggestions feel free to share!

If you're just using these to go clubbing or on dates, go with this black suit. (I really don't see much difference between either black suit though. Once you mentally subtract the tie, they look almost identical)

https://www.zalando.se/selected-homme-on...n-q11.html

If you're going to interview in them, for the most part Americans find black suits to be too severe, and prefer dark grey or navy blue for interview purposes. Sweden might be different.

Of the options presented,

https://www.zalando.se/selected-homme-ko...p-k11.html

This one has the most versatility.

You could go out in it, and interview as well. Brown shoes, brown belt to match, pocket square, and you're good to go

I agree with WIA. One thing to keep in mind, a suit that inexpensive (nothing necessarily wrong with an inexpensive suit, of course) is almost certainly fused, so make sure you never get it wet, like wearing it in a downpour without an overcoat. The water can cause the fusing to separate, causing the material to lump-up in places, which ruins the suit.

48L is huge I would think. Make sure that the shoulders are spot on otherwise the whole suit is no good.

This is polyester fabric as well, and even though sweden is not too humid, you might start to cook yourself from the inside. They dont breathe.

You are very slim, so make sure the suit shows this. If its too baggy, it will make you look even slimmer.

And go navy for your first suit. More versatile for day and night. More options with shoes leathers as well.

I bought a FilipaK suit in Stockholm on sale for about USD$370, virgin wool, great lining and canvasing, and after a quick tuck at the tailor its one of my best suits.

My stats: 6'2", 190 pounds. I wear a 50-52 (40R to 42R).

You are in Sweden. There are so many options to get amazing quality clothing. Gothenburg has some Outlets south of town that might be a good option too. Gant, FilipaK, Tiger, Acme and others.

Some great tips guys, thank you.

Laner, I'm going on a short trip to Gothenburg soon and will be checking out the various outlets there. I've heard Freeport is some sort of suit haven.

I'll keep your suggestions in mind and look for materials that breathe as May can get quite hot up here.

What color of brown shoes and belt do you recommend to go with a navy suit, lighter or darker?
