this girl I met a few months ago on a travel isn't giving me much of a chance for online game!

I'm trying to connect with her more online before I go back to visit her because she lives in another country.

I try to play hard to get, if shes online/facebook I'm not smothering her, most likely wait for her to IM me which she usually does.

Last few times I IMd her to say hello and she replies......after a long time.

what am I doing wrong here if anything?

Let her know when you'll be in town and drop her a line a week before your trip. No need trying to keep a dialogue going with someone far away. Lay that pipeline and move on, there's a good chance it won't happen anyway -- especially based on her response. If you'd made that much of an impression she would be more thrilled and it would show. She's obviously not showing it, so I wouldn't pay it much mind.
