A female friend and I got onto the conversation topic of "pick-up artists" and she told me about hearing one guru's advice (she couldn't remember his name; she doesn't know much about that realm). The advice he gave was as follows:

"When you take a girl on a date, you shouldn't touch her or kiss her at all. When you drop her off, give her the cold shoulder and don't even hug her. Let her get out of the car and go inside. She will be confused and feel rejected. Then park your car and ring her doorbell. She will let you right inside and be receptive to your moves."

I haven't tried this. Has anyone else?

Do you guys think this this would be an effective technique?

Yeah I see potential in this, just picture her opening the door after you ring the doorbell. And you go for the kiss straight up, very movie-like if you ask me but hey, they go crazy for shit like that.

Seems like a losing tactic. It could very easily sub-communicate that you were too scared to try to kiss her the first time, and then showed back up at her door when you regretted it and finally built up the courage. Not recommended.

Yea it could work, but I doubt going the aggressive style will lose you a notch you would have gotten pulling this move.

Second this 100%. I have done this a few times when I was still too much a pussy to escalate. Now, maybe the feeling would be different if it were intentional, but I have burned myself on this so many times that I'd never try it. I'll stick to moderate escalation and Roosh's famous "Can I use your bathroom?"

I'm way too impatient and outcome-oriented for me to be able to pull this off. Plus, the whole purpose of me going out with a girl is to try and bang. I'm not interested in dating anyone or prolonging any romances.

I think this advice is garbage.

So the girl will let you in her house after you've not intimated any sort of physical contact all night, general behaved weird/beta and not shown any interest in her? Sex is a two way street so she'll be into it as much knowing that you want her.

She'll feel confused and rejected and think you're weird. Then she'll go find another guy who's willing to put his cock in her. Sure fire way to cockblock yourself.

The more you push for it the more rewarded you are.

EDIT: 'The advice he gave' - sounds like your female friend made it into a chinese whisper and devised it herself.

This tactic works. You can learn all the tactics you want, but the skill is to when you use the tactic in the right circumstance and the right target.

I can think of two contexts when this tactic is applicable. First, there's a girl you want to develop as an LTR target. Second, this tactic you apply to the cocktease type of girls. Chicks who are used to using their sexuality to manipulate men, but give it up with reasonable difficulty. Opposite to what Tuth is saying, you have to apply this tactic without a hesitation/fear vibe. Rather, you apply it with an arrogant and indifferent vibe, where you're qualifying her and not sure if she makes the cut. Congruence is key.
