So the outside force of a close relative or friend dying would not affect your emotions? If outside forces don't control your emotions, what does?
I also disagree with your definition of a weak man. A weak man is one who gives up at the first sign of adversity or pain, not merely one who's capable of feeling it.
You're missing the point or misunderstanding me in any case. It's not about "not feeling it". It's about not allowing it to control your reactions and your state of mind.
A few years back when my dog died we had to bury him and through the whole process I had to keep it together. I had to keep it together in front of my wife and in particular I had to keep it together in front of my kids. They all got to cry a river.
Not me.
Did I have a bit of a moment when they were all gone? Sure. But fighting emotional vulnerability is a necessary part of being a proper man. Go back 10,000 years and if my wife were hitched to a man who broke down in a blubbering mess in front of her and the kids because a neighboring tribe had speared one of my hunting dogs then my weakness in controlling my emotions could be the difference between the survival of the tribe or it's bloody death.
Women are hardwired to shit-test men without ever realizing they're doing it because they are pure machines for pre-rejecting the advances of dead-end genetic material, and a man that can be easily emotionally hurt by a woman is dead-end genetic material.
If only psychopaths were considered suitable genetic material by women then we would all be psychopaths. Men who are in control of how they react to their emotions are not psychopaths. They are simply stronger than the psychologically weaker men who have no such control.
Why would women choose the weaker man? Why should they?
The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.

This is true, but The way I see it, women only do this to men that appear weak. Aka skinny PUA types with prerehearsed “game”.
On a long enough timeline all men get the shit-tests.
When a man is a blatant and obvious prize the first thing a woman wants to do is secure his attention and court his affection. In action this generally means she "throws herself at him".
Once she has his affection she will still naturally shit-test him because that's just what women do, without even thinking.
If Dan Bilzerian has a girlfriend then between 3 months and a year he's going to start getting shit-tests from her. Let's assume he doesn't dump her ass. If he turns out to be a paper alpha she'll phsychologically demote him to beta-bux and start subconsciously looking for a higher genetic branch to swing to. If he passes the tests but not particularly convincingly then he'll keep getting them. If he passes them convincingly on a long enough timeline they'll progressively decrease until they only pop up when he's in a slump.
The public will judge a man by what he lifts, but those close to him will judge him by what he carries.

Yes, many are downright hostile. Media plays a part in pushing anti-male tropes, as well as feminism. Combine with endless validation and boosted egos women get from social media you have really bad narcissism coming from women and lack of empathy. View it from their perspective though, men are doing the worst ever compared to women, so women are thus calling the shots now more than ever.
As I've said before it starts in education and by the time a man makes it to college he's already at a statistical disadvantage... Much less the workforce with affirmative action policies (not needed for women) and gynocentric HR departments. Not to mention managers prefer women doing these mindless clerical/ deskjobs to men, and when it comes to service jobs, again, they prefer women.

Instagram "likes" hijack a woman's need for validation, her need to be desired, and her need for attention.
I have a unique perspective here, I stopped gaming at age 14. I pick up a game if I'm with a friend who games, but that's it. I was very high achiving at that age, so it was fortunate I stopped. Meanwhile many of my average and above average friends went down the rabbit hole of gaming, which came to define both their future career academic prospects and their social lives. On both counts, gaming was seriously damaging to them. The worst thing you can have is a young adolescent male who is not properly socialized (not going to parties or having a GF b/c of video games), and is going nowhere in his life (because he is blowing off high school and college), because he decided to drift right around the age of 18. Games are damning to men, channeling their urges to win, feel part of a team, etc. into an outlet that yields almost 0 for them. It is hard to moderate your screentime once you start, thus it is very addictive, just like social media or porn.
I once had to direct an old black lady in an IT job. She had no idea what she was doing, but she was a trifecta of diversity so she was untouchable. At that moment I knew that affirmative action did not end in university.

RE: Share Of American Adults Having NO Sex Reaches All-Time High
I can relate to this thread because I am in the new generation (21 years old). I have a comfortable life with everything paid for (gas, college, food), and am living at home. Not to complain, but it is tough to force yourself to do hard stuff when it is not required of you and your siblings. Once I finish school (2 more years) I'm going to move out immediately and then I will be forced to struggle. I haven't developed much confidence, and it's easy to revert back to comfort. When I move out I am going to not receive any financial support from my parents, I want to finally struggle and develop a sense of worth. Incels are probably people like me, middle class average looking guys who are not forced to grow up. There is just endless video games, porn, sugary foods, etc... and not much of a push on you to improve besides just sending you to college. I watched a coach red pill video and he basically said just walk out the door and then you don't have to force yourself to develop character, it comes from making it in life on your own. I realize my parents are doing what they think is best, and ultimately it is my responsibility fix my life. This is just my thought on the decline in young men in America, too much comfort and too little expectations.

Good post. Sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders.
That's it, put yourself through struggle that will make you stronger- which, you're correct, a lot of these incels (who are probably average looking), haven't done.

I suspect that it's not just struggle but also the capacity to meet the challenges of the struggle. A guy without too many skills working a minimum wage service job is going to struggle to make rent and to attract women. I've met people who for whatever reason were still living like that in their 30s/40s, and they're some of the least confident people I've ever met.
To build confidence, the struggle must pose a challenge but not enough that it can't be overcome. There's an optimum level of challenge which encourages action and builds confidence, too great or too low can damage your confidence.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arnold_J._...d_response
Similarly, a lot of these incels weren't necessarily people who never faced a challenge but never able to overcome them. For instance when I visited relatives over the long weekend, there was talk of a lot of bullying going on in schools, far more than I can remember. It's difficult to imagine a kid getting picked on from ages 6-12, and being able to attract girls in high school from ages 13-17.

Mid 20s here. Been there and done that. Living by myself in college and the years after/before that were one of the most challenging, but beneficial time period for me.
I can definitely relate what you are describing. The state of the society has fallen dramatically and there isn't much thing to look forward to as a young man unless you had some crazy genetics and you became an athlete or had a rich dad.
"Man are made, woman are born..."
"Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner."

You will never experience a real struggle since you got everything paid for. Try supporting yourself while in College, and you will see what struggle REALLY means.
If you chose the right major, and have done some internships, you will get a nice 9 to 5 job making plenty of money. Much beyond what any salaried employee in other countries could make.
