I won't quote the text because it doesn't give many details, and devolves into feminist nonsense competely blaming men for the bad choices women make.

It does make some good points about the way that porn influences sexual behaviour. I can't imagine what my sexual desires would look like if I were exposed to online porn from such a young age and at the formative years of my sexuality. I've seen some things in porn which have horrified me and would never have a desire to try, but that might not have been the case if I had seen it when I was more impressionable.

I completely understand and agree to some extent. But it's interesting the way that some girls (not all) writhe in ecstacy during anal sex in a way they don't during vaginal sex. And the way that they are submissive and docile as lambs afterwards. There's a strong psychological component to it I think, something to do with women's desire to be dominated.

I saw this on the Heartiste blog earlier in the week. Pardon the pun, but it doesn't pass the smell test.

Let me put on my old journalist's hat and pick this "article" apart.

1). Not one person is directly quoted about this "girl." They say "The country's national broadcaster WAS TOLD..." Really? By whom? Kids making prank calls? Fiction writers? The guys on this forum?

Had this been the old days and I had written this, an editor would have handed it right back to me and said "Find a real source and don't give me second-hand bullshit."

2). All the "experts" and doctors quoted speak generally on the subject, not about this alleged girl. They talk about "horrendous experiences," but it sounds like their quotes and this story were focused to give worst-case scenarios.

This writer could have done a similar story on the perils of little kids choking on hard candy. "Experts" would have had a lot to say about that, too. But (anti-)sex sells and this is the #metoo era, so this story is about sex, not candy and kids.

3). The only actual detail given is of a "41-year-old woman" whose former boyfriend allegedly forced her to have anal sex.

What happened to the teenager? And why did this story suddenly become re-focused to be about forced sex (i.e. rape)? I thought it was about an Australian girl and her colostomy bag.

4). This story repeatedly references an ABC News report but does not include a link. Wonder why? Because the actual story reads like fabricated bullshit.

Once again, I'll draw comparisons to the AIDS hysteria stirred up by the media during the Reagan Era. It was supposed to "explode" into the straight community. It never did. Now we have an "epidemic" of porn harming "our women and girls." I doubt it.

I found the story they mysteriously didn't link to and it's here if anyone wants to wade through it. The short version: It's about the "perils of porn." Heavy on hysterics, but light on facts.
