I can't help but think that there may be bias in these studies. I mean, women in the 70s (I would think) were less likely to report that they had 10+ partners than they are today. Culture has changed immensely and today, we don't shame women for being uber sluts! So the reality may be at least marginally closer.

I agree with this. The issue with having a lot of experience in the game is that you become blind to who would be a good long term partner. Not intellectually, you know what type of woman to look for, but game is deeply ingrained where it's hard to pull off successfully.

Your mind, thought patterns, body language, and entire identity change in such subtle ways that you aren't even aware of the energy you're giving off. Years ago you could have been that guy suited for long term relationships or marriage, but no longer.
