- This is Netflixes' Christmas menu, I couldn't find one Christmas movie with a Christian message, out of what must have been 40 titles
- They also did not have a classic christmas movie, which I would classify as 80s or before (Rudolph, its a wonderful life, etc)
- Most of the movies were stories of the NYC girl who finds a guy over christmas, that and lots of drunk orgy Christmas parties
- I do enjoy "Bad Santa" which was on the list 2003, funny movie but definitely not for the family.

Tangent: I actually like Bad Santa. It's a surprisingly deep movie, and is unique among films I've seen for being able to be incredibly dark while still conveying a positive message.

Hard to explain unless you've seen it and understand the main character's mental illness.

Agreed. It's a really weird movie, with truly deplorable characters, but somehow, the Billy Bob Thorton character redeems himself by bonding with the boy, and even helps teach the boy to sack up and deal with some bullies.

Very dark, and yet it captures some of the spirit of Christmas.

Some extremely poignant issues being raised in this thread, but back when society was more puritanical it really wasn’t too much better. There was still hundreds and thousands of years of various suffering and violence at the hand of fundamentalist religion. We are just swapping out one form of fundamentalism for another. Accepting trannies as regular members of society is probably more humane than burning an alleged witch at the stake. Can someone address the struggle of humanity throughout its existence and why progressivism is somehow worse?

I was in UK over Xmas, and my 14 year old niece told me now she hates rainbows. She said she used to love them before, but now whenever she sees them she thinks "gay". She's not a fan of LGBT stuff in any way, and plans to be married with kids by 25.

while they never mention an 'inversion agenda' per se, I think this video documents and explains the same phenomenon very well: how the 'occult' is not so occult anymore, but it's so increasingly in your face - and people just eat it up. the connection here is, in my view, that all these practices, ideologies and symbols are an inversion of the moral good and the Christian ideal.

Didn't watch the video, but this is definitely a powerful method to diminish resistance and help with acceptance.

I remember reading "a brief history of the future", and in there attali basically says how things are, but it's not entirely the truth - a good part of what he says is what he wants to happen and what he's fighting for at the moment.

The net effect is that when you see these (arguably bad) things getting implemented, you are already in a state of passive defeat/confusion - you think hmm this is bad, but I knew it would come (or was it maybe always like that ? I'm not so sure anymore), I remember seeing something about it quite some time ago already though ?

Whereas if you had never heard of any of these scandalous new things before you would probably pick up forks and torches and head straight to the bastille.

Anything you read (or see, or hear) has an effect on your brain - it connects neurons.
Even if it seems not much at first, the thing is that reinforcing existing thought patterns is much easier than creating new ones.
Especially when they are negative I would think ?

Just went on to the forum to look for a thread to post what I just watched (the vid below). Quite of a coincidence finding your post. Watching the vid my jaws were dropped the entire time. I saw many vids from concerts etc. with occult agenda but this is so disgusting and straight it gave me a strong feeling of discomfort, almost to the point of "I do not want to believe it is true".

The thing is from Lithuania. I did not even took the time to investigate the "who,why,when" as I think it is irrevelant. See for yourself.

Notice at 2:20 how there is almost no reaction for words "Jesus is alive".
