RE: The truth about the Philippines

A while ago I lived with a girl from Davao, she had this character of being delightful for a week or two, then she would start arguments for no reason. I am still writing to her and she sent me 49 texts yesterday. I had forgotten to switch of the vibration on the phone. So I switched it off. So as I wake up I see five messages from her that I was up at 1.30 am my time, obviously talking to other girls and not checking her messages. I explained to her I just switched off the vibration, she wouldn't accept it. Just crazy this girl.
Yea, my Filipina ex was like this as things went on. Particularly once I went back to the US. Realized about a month or two later I couldn't keep it up. The drama I think is fueled by insecurity. I know one guy that told me the Filipina he's married to now had a lot of insecurity leading up to the engagement. These chicks are legit afraid of losing you and if you are firm and high value in their mind, some will do or say anything to keep you around (even if they have three other boyfriends).
Nevertheless, I love Filipinas. I wasn't around the country a decade ago. I'm a young blood that benefited from the power of information with forums like this, airbnb, and uber to really enhance my experience in the country. When I first left, I wanted to do anything to get myself back there permanently. Now, I'm not so sure I'm as high on it, but that's more because I make more money at home and there's still a lot of other countries to see. But, it's still an option I'm absolutely open to going back to.
The haters in here are being way too harsh on the country. I'd love to invite them to the northeast US and see if they'd still feel the same way they're bitching about here. Guys, if you don't like the country or the women, it's very simple....
And go to another country.....
As far back as I could remember, I always wanted to be a player.

That's exactly the point. In developing countries there's a sweet period where the infrastructure is just good enough to live comfortably but girls are still 'third world'.
Naturally this only lasts a few years and then it changes as the country keeps developing.
To expect this transition phase to last forever is unusually naive.
It's baffling how people here engage in endless social-political-anthropological discussion while they seem not to grasp the absolute basics. Or maybe the answer is they can grasp it in their mind but are simply unable to accept it emotionally.

I spent a lot of time there as an upper class local a decade ago and it wasn't easy and the women were fucking awful through and through. Aggressive. Mouthy. Unpleasant to be around. Bullshit drama. Living in Africa stinks unless you are rich and can employ drivers, maids, send your kids to the best schools, live in the most exclusive neighborhoods, etc. SEA is much cheaper and offers a lot more. Philippines is child's play compared to where I was.
I would never ever recommend Africa for pussy since you can already kind of meet black girls anywhere. Plus the HIV/STD thing kills it. Not worth it.
I think that the shittiest the country is, the more expensive it will be, contrary to what some people would think. Complete shitholes like HCMC seem cheaper than Thailand cities when you read blogs or forums, but the truth is that those guys are living like dogs. If you want a quality condo in HCMC district 1, it'll be 2-3 times more expensive than a condo in BKK at least. BGC / Makati is a bit more expensive than Bkk too, unless you like living in 20 sqm rabbit boxes.
I imagine you must have even more money if you wanna have a decent life in dump-holes of Africa. Guys claiming the contrary, probably are crass bottom of the barrel guys who don't mind scraping for electronics in African dumps.
African women that I've fucked were not feminine enough for me. I think they have a very early expiration date around 20 years old. Let's not forget that they begin to have boobs very early, around 10 years old. I haven't been to Africa, but Black Colombians that I've fucked were not enjoyable at all (were around 25 years old). Also fucked a few French-speaking ones in other places, same, didn't really like it, too chubby in a bad way (lots of chub in the arms and not enough around the ass). But I do remember kissing an African teen when I was in middle school, THAT was very boner-inducing.

Because if it's zero effort for quality, and other countries require work (situation 2013 and prior), then it's a no brainer to be here.
Whereas in 2018 if you have game I think you're better off elsewhere. If you need real game to get real quality either way, then you're better off in a country that's actually nice to live in and maybe even has a great variety of phenotypes... not to mention, girls with more to talk about on dates, and with more interesting personalities.
If someone doesn't enjoy his stay in the Philippines once the "absolute zero effort hot girls" factor is gone, then yes, time to leave.
Hate to sound like Tony Robbins but the quest for getting good things for zero effort probably won't end is satisfaction. More like chasing your tail forever with constant frustration. Even if it worked for a while in the past.
It's almost like you're paying your dues for your non-effort years now, since due to these years you are now unable to get your act together. It always comes full circle.

That used to be the case but sadly it is no more for a long while now. The red pill has turned to black on RVF long ago (even with this thread removed).
Roosh is still coming out with practical work (Game book) but he let the forum go downhill, hard not to see it.
There's still nuggets of useful information and it's still nice to participate in discussions sometimes, but it is what it is.
Most reputable members are also much less active for this exact reason I believe.

RE: The truth about the Philippines
I think the forum mentality used to be "there is always a poosy paradise just for you somewhere on this earth. If not country A, then country B". And the last five years' changes have hit pretty hard because it's more difficult to get girls in virtually every country now, due to worldwide social media, feminism, and the sort of geographical arbitrage that the forum itself promoted.
That said, if you have been improving yourself all the while, you've been able to manage the decline. It's really not so bad - just a little bit more effort/value is required.
Dr Johnson rumbles with the RawGod. And lives to regret it.

Wasn’t the whole appeal of the Philippines in the first place that one could go there without any game and smash their way through copious amounts of poon every week without putting in much, if any effort? Now dudes are saying you need to be male model tier, have a six pack, a baller bankroll, and ‘game’ in order to get laid with 3rd world girls? lol
+1 to that including the disclaimer btw.

You still don't get it... The willingness to put good effort into good things is exactly what led many people to find pussy paradise early... back when it still required good effort to find out about it... because there weren't a million blogs and forums about it. In other words: back when PP still existed.
I also can't recall saying that I'm unable to get my act together... maybe you're projecting. I'm describing objective changes in the reality on the ground as all long term expats have observed them... and you don't seem to have any actual disagreement with that description so why the condescending "you should learn game" shit?
You live here too so come meet me in real life some time and let's go out, put the forum bickering aside and have a beer together. Talk to some girls maybe and see if we can get this conversation on a more constructive track.

I "got the fuck out" of the Philippines very quickly (way overrated), doesn't mean I won't stop ranting about this shitty country.
If you love this country so much then go back there to settle down.
People living there are all saying it's overrated and bad vibes. Probably the only ones not complaining are the 60 years olds. And Malo.
