I also don't believe he has been honest with how he contracted the disease.

Right on! I mean it's possible he contracted it from hetero sex with non pros, but that's so rare this forum would have to run for decades to give even small chance of this happening.

Is there anyone besides him who caught HIV on here? Obviously well-known members with a reputation wouldn't post it even if they did have It, but what about anyone else?

We as a collective do a lot of fucking, so one would think there would be some other cases on here too. I think it's testament to how unlikely transmission is for a man via vaginal sex.

Take a look on the HIV subreddit and try to find a heterosexual man with it. Quite difficult to find indeed.

That info on viral load was new to me. So I'll definitely be more careful moving forward.

But I still profess that a heterosexual male who doesn't put it in the shitter would be the unluckiest sod in the world to come down with HIV, no matter how many sloots he bangs.

RE: Got the HIV... Warning to RVFers
I think OP did this forum a favor by starting this thread.

He brought awareness and facts about HIV to the forum that it didn't have before. I for one really didn't know much about this issue till this thread and I feel like I've learned something. Sucks he got banned, I still had questions.

Whether or not he was banging trannies and won't admit it, or just got dealt some seriously bad luck and raw dogged a club slut while she was in seroconversion (1 in 5 chance to catch HIV in this situation, if I read correctly) is anybody's guess.

My takeaways are:

1. While the odds are GENERALLY very low to get HIV from unprotected heterosexual vaginal intercourse, if you're out there getting wasted and banging high-risk girls without a condom, sticking it in their ass and what not, your risk goes up tremendously.

Plus a lot of those club girls take drugs, and in Southeast Asia there's a seriously grey line between "good" girl and pro. So you never really know if your so-called good girl is taking dick raw for money on the weekends when she's "visiting her family". And they generally don't ask you to wrap it up these Asian ho's. Back when I was raw dogging everything in sight, I had maybe 3 girls ever ask me to put a condom on.

2. If you're on suppressive therapy and have < 200 copies of virus per mL of blood, the consensus seems to be that it's highly improbable verging on impossible to pass it on to a girl through normal sex. That's if you believe the CDC's statement and referenced studies.

3. Wear the damn condom.

Three recent studies, PARTNER, Opposites Attract, and PARTNER2 (an extension of PARTNER focusing on HIV-discordant MSM couples), report similar results. None of these studies observed any genetically linked infections while the HIV-positive partner was virally suppressed and the couples were engaging in condomless sex and not using pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP).8,9,10 In these studies, viral suppression was defined as less than 200 copies of HIV RNA per milliliter of blood; most HIV-positive participants in the PARTNER study had less than 50 copies of HIV RNA per milliliter of blood.8 The three studies included over 500 HIV-discordant heterosexual couples, with about half having a male HIV-infected partner (PARTNER), and more than 1,100 HIV- discordant MSM couples (PARTNER2; Opposites Attract) from 14 European countries, Australia, Brazil,
and Thailand.
The studies reported transmission risk estimates and their corresponding 95% confidence intervals as:
• PARTNER study:8
- For any sex among heterosexual and male-male couples: 0.00 (0.00 – 0.30) per 100 couple-years - For anal sex among male-male couples: 0.00 (0.00 – 0.89) per 100 couple-years
• Opposites Attract study:9
- For anal sex among male-male couples: 0.00 (0.00 – 1.59) per 100 couple-years
• PARTNER2 study (which includes data from PARTNER):10
- For anal sex among male-male couples: 0.00 (0.00 – 0.24) per 100 couple-years

Together, the data from the PARTNER2 and Opposites Attract studies produce a combined transmission risk estimate for condomless and PrEP-less anal sex among MSM couples of 0.00 (0.00 – 0.21) per 100 couple-
years, with the upper bound equal to a 0.21% annual risk (unpublished data). Pooling data from all three studies produces a combined transmission risk estimate for condomless sex among heterosexual or MSM couples of 0.00 (0.00 – 0.14) per 100 couple-years, with the upper bound indicating a 0.14% annual risk (unpublished data). These data provide solid evidence of the power of viral suppression in preventing HIV transmission. Statistically, the possibility exists that the true risk is greater than zero; however, data show no linked infections while the HIV- infected partner is virally suppressed, based on tens of thousands of sex acts without a condom or PrEP. Based on these data, future HIV transmission is not expected when persons with HIV remain virally suppressed.

https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/pdf/risk/art/cdc...ession.pdf

It sounds like chances of transmission are nil as long as you're on the proper meds.

1. that is not 0.
2. And a confidence interval - you are either in it, or you are not. 5% are not in it.
3. the 95% confidence interval, while still a commonly used statistic, is out of date and a very low threshold for medical evidence.
4. in real life, what are the odds of someone forgetting to take their meds? extremely high. Patient compliance is crap.
5. the data reported are valid, the problem is that in real life things are messier
6. PReP is highly effective when taken correctly FWIW: I know high risk sex participants that take PReP and have not contracted the HiV.
7. You guys should take PReP if you are banging lots of women (who knows how risky some of these women are)

RE: Got the HIV... Warning to RVFers
We don't know if OP was using drugs or banging trannies/ladyboys. Even if OP wasn't using needle drugs, being under the influence increases risk because you are more likely to bang ladyboys, not use a condom, and in general be surrounded by people with high risk lifestyle.

When members asked about this and called him on it he never answered or misdirected. He was definitely hiding something.

If OP was a troll kudos but the general awareness brought to all was worth something.

This post freaked me out a little to be honest, but when the OP responded to the ladyboy question saying he "might have had sex with a post op tranny but wasn't sure" because he didn't remember a lot of his experiences I felt like something was definitely off. I've been with a lot of women but I am ONE HUNDRED PERCENT sure I've never been with a post op transexual. How would you not know this??

7. You guys should take PReP if you are banging lots of women (who knows how risky some of these women are)

"‘Zero’ needs a precise explanation. When principal researcher Alison Rodger announced the results of the first phase of the study, PARTNER 1, back in 2014, she said, of the risk of transmission by an undetectable partner, that “Our best estimate is, it’s zero”.

By ‘estimate’ she meant that it is impossible to prove that something will never happen. So researchers use confidence intervals. These do not state what the findings show, but what they can show. They define how precise their findings are.

In the first announcement of the PARTNER 1 data, concerns were expressed because what is called the ‘higher bound of the 95% confidence interval’ was 0.45% for all, but 0.84% for any sex between gay men and 4% for receptive anal sex with ejaculation.

The 0.45% means that, if you were to run PARTNER 1 20 times, it would become more likely than not that, one time out of these 20 study repeats, you’d find one HIV transmission in every 222 couples if you followed them for a year – or one transmission in any one couple if you followed them for 222 years. The 4% would increase that likelihood to one in 25 couples per year (or one transmission every 25 years per couple).

It is important to stress that these might not be real events. The confidence interval is a statement about ‘noise’, and so is a statement both about the chances of missing one transmission (a false-negative) and about the chances of mistakenly ‘seeing’ a transmission that isn’t real (a false-positive).

The fact that the higher bound for anal sex was higher than for all sex was not due to the fact that anal sex transmits HIV more efficiently than vaginal. It was because there were fewer couples who had anal sex – so the resolution of the findings was lower, like a photo with fewer pixels.

It especially did not mean, as some people misunderstood, that the likelihood of transmission from an undetectable condomless anal sex partner where the positive partner was insertive and ejaculated was 4%. It was still the case that the most likely chance of transmission was zero.

But because there were fewer gay than heterosexual couples in PARTNER 1, it was decided to recruit more couples, to narrow the confidence intervals for anal sex between men. These new couples, plus the original gay couples from PARTNER 1, formed the cohort studied for PARTNER 2."

http://www.aidsmap.com/Zero-transmission...e/3311249/

Still sounds like zero to me as long as you are virally suppressed, but it's possible I might be missing something.

You want to know the only thing you can assume about a broken down old man? It's that he's a survivor.

RE: Got the HIV... Warning to RVFers
Renotime- there is a difference how things play out in the real world versus the clinical trail world. Even a very low .0000001 probability means some poor asshole per million high risk sex contacts (number of high risk HiV drug bangs, not number of people) beats the odds and contracts the disease. All it takes is 1 fuck up from the person taking their meds to increase the chances. Medication compliance is awful. In fact, medication compliance for pets is better than people (jordan peterson talks about this in his book for example). Medication compliance rates are typically higher in clinical trials for a variety of reasons. I am a big advocate of the drugs and people taking them if they need them, to protect themselves, and others. Why trust anyone that has already demonstrated poor judgmebnt by contracting the HiV in the first place? Roosh vers need to decide what their own level of risk tolerance is I guess.

Don’t you mean “the aids” as in you’ve got “the” HIV? Just so weird reading that title and all the posts after the OP was first vetted then already banned. Some other people called it the HIV too. Maybe some people actual talk like that? Idk. Seemed like obvious trolling to me.

The human immunodeficiency virus. Works!

I’ve never heard anyone say “I’ve got the HIV”. Have you?

They just say “I’ve got HIV”. Or more commonly “I’m positive”.

Just seems off. OP was purposely tipping his hat.

Did he actually post medical records? I laughed out loud when people checked themselves and suggested that should be handled by PM in the future.

Yes. An article of reference is commonly added when saying the full title completely, such as “I’ve contracted the human immunodeficiency virus.”

Even more oddly some subsequent posters also referred to it as “the hiv”. Easily influenced. Kinda detracted from the serious dialogue.

Why the need for this? Is it culture or education? Here in North America it is trending towards this as well.

After the AIDS scare, there was aggressive education (and scare campaigns) which got everyone to wrap it up. These days girls don't want anything to do with rubbers. It used to be solely for exclusive relationships to bang with no protection but these day girls now go chasing creampies with anyone they match on Tinder.

I don't understand it. I put this solely on the woman's table because you can't expect a rational man to act in an appropriate manner during his most weak and irrational state right before intercourse. I used to think girls were big hoes for having condoms on standby in their nightstand but now I realize it is a dying breed of girls who are still somewhat responsible.
