There is truth to this. It is called staying in your lane.

Problem is, when guys are starting out learning game, they first need to find their water level to figure out what exactly is their bread and butter type of broad. Establishing a "baseline" so to speak.

If you never push towards the high end, you may never figure out what that level is, determine the level of effort required to pull, and how far you can deviate plus or minus from that line. For example, many guys that have a certain level of looks, social proof, vibe, resources, etc. will not be able to pull many legit ugly/bottom of the barrel women with any level of consistency. They just simply won't believe you as much. Ugly does not exactly mean easy. Conversely plenty women are more pleasant upon approach of men they feel are a good match on initial glance.

You would not know any of these things, (and the location can matter alot), if you never approached all levels of chicks at first.

It can get deeper than just looks. It could be scene dependent too. Some guys get more play at particular concerts than they do at the same night clubs playing the same music. Some guys can munch off their professional circles better than others. Doctors come to mind, but you likely would not want to do that if you were a elementary school teacher.

So until you get the experience you need with the understanding required to make the correct adjustments in real time, it is a good thing to break things apart, compare, and make notes. Where guys fuck up is that they stay in Experimental Mode too long, get discouraged, and get the fatigue you get from blowouts and denials. Learn when to step back, satisfy/kill your thirst, then get back to hunting.

Anyway, if you want to get laid with predictable regularity? Stay in your lane.

That's probably not a bad point. We're both just here in Philadelphia 90% of the time. As it's been stated in this thread, a lot of my opinions are based on my experiences living in an east coast city for over ten years. I'm used to Philly / Jersey girls. I spent a year living in New York, but that's about it. Most of my travel has been for a week at the most.

I would travel more, but law is a profession that is tied to geographic location. If court could be done over Facetime, I'd be overseas more often. This summer I haven't even made it out of the city due to my trial schedule. I'd like to expand my horizons more internationally, it's just been tough.

Moral of the story? Law sucks as a profession.

You are welcomed in Lisbon. Iberia, British Airways, American Airlines or Finnar at least these do direct flights to here (I believe there is an important Portuguese community over there).

I do real estate and zoning. It's very niche.

However, I make a bunch of money off PI because I refer it all out. Here in PA you're entitled to a 33% referral fee, no questions asked (Jersey is a bit different). Dollar for dollar, PI for me means doing nothing and collecting a paycheck. I call my buddy, send him the case, and that's the end of it. If it worked economically, that's all I would do. PI referrals are about 1/4 of my income.

All law, if there is litigation, requires you to be there in person. Unless you have a good associate or your practice is entirely referral based.

For the most part, it's not a profession you can generally do from the beach or remotely. Even in PI, someone has to sign up the new clients, attend the discovery hearings, do the investigations, argue the motions, and show up to trial. Insurance carriers aren't just handing away money anymore because someone got stitches -- they fight these cases. They'll take the dumbest cases all the way to trial and then suddenly hand you a check.

You'll make money in law (especially PI), no doubt, but it's a lot of work and drama. Ten years in and I'm mostly over it. Most days I would rather be waiting tables.

You could probably do appellate law remotely, but that's about it. Even still, you have to show up for oral argument, reproduce the record, print out hard copies of the briefs, etc.

Off the top of my head, I can't really think of much law that's remote. Plus, clients like to meet with you in person, see you in a suit, the whole dog and pony show.

Feel free to hit me up if you ever want to discuss. But in my opinion, law is a profession you have to physically show up for. And I'm even considered to be "living the dream" because I have my own shop...

I'm not trying to deter you from law or anything, it's just a very demanding profession where you'll be stuck somewhere geographically. I generally like living in Philadelphia, and I bought at the right time, but I'd rather be sitting on a beach in the Philippines this week. I've had zero vacation this year.

Basically, just understand what you're getting into.

This partly true in my experience. A lot of the YES girls are the usual 'red flag' girls with tattoos, smoking etc; open about their sexuality.

The intuition though is knowing from the way looks at you in a very brief time window, agreed.

I approach with the assumption that a girl is a Yes girl, based off the above. It's just not as simple as you're making it out to be.

Heres the thing though, I think we've all been blown out in bed naked with a girl at least once right? How many times has the reason been bullshit and not related to height by both her indication and the reality of the situation. "Its too soon", "i cant I'm on my period" "i'm not ready yet sorry". I think that's a risk of the three date thing -- you're auditioning as a boyfriend, and she's rationalizing how cool / nice / fun you are while suppressing any kind of physical judgements until it's too late. Maybe she "wanted to want" to fuck you. That's not what we want though.

Also, say, on date 1, what is the rapport like? Are you getting sexual when chopping it up with her? Or are you just dropping the "my life is fun and fancy free, follow me" vibes?

I don't know -- I've converted Maybe girls, I get out ahead of it once I feel they are on the fence, I get bolder and try things out, and many times it ends up in my favor. If not, then far less time wasted.

So let me get this straight.

You run 3-date Provider Game on a chick, she's kinda feeling "meh" about it, then get her in bed, and she gives you a variant of "yeah not feeling it" and you think it's cause of height?

Yeah that's what she said, but I thought it was common knowledge here not to listen to what a girl is saying specifically?

Nah, what she meant was

"I'm not feeling it right now with a guy that would be better off as a cash cow" - i.e. social frame key, it's not socially acceptable to fuck this guy when Providers are supposed to wait for sex and you're not really supposed to give it up to them

and

"I'm not feeling aroused and attracted to you in this moment, and the one logical thing to let you down is you're short so let's run with that" - i.e. arousal key, she's not feeling the sexual vibe in the moment, she's not horny and you're not doing anything to fix that

and

"I'm getting a bit of ASD so let me find a way to get out of this because I don't want to feel judged" i.e. another social frame key

and

"I haven't been feeling emotionally stimulated during this whole dating process and yeah I wanted to fuck but it could at least be a fun experience and that's not what is going on here" - i.e. emotional stimulation key, where she is feeling "meh" during the whole process

Basically you got friendzoned, and yeah she said it was your height cause that was an easy way to let you down, but if you had hit the keys during the dating process then you would have been in there cause she would have in the moment decided "this guy is stimulating, and I'm horny cause he is turning me on, and I know he won't judge me or there won't be social fall out from fucking him so yeah let's smash."

So yeah. Fix this with some Game. Get Good.

If you're dead set on running three-date stuff from online (horrible way to start out learning by the way), at least learn some verbals or other stuff so you know how to emotionally stimulate, arouse her and get around any social frame issues she may have (mostly that she feels she will be judged by you or others).

Can give you some examples of how this works if it makes things clearer.

Because girls don't make decisions ahead of time like this. She probably wanted to fuck him (hence she ends up naked in his bed), but his Game was trash. She couldn't get around the mental hangups on her own, and he didn't know how to get around them WITH her, so it blew up at the last minute.


Also why running three-date Game is actually a veteran move cause you gotta know how you are hitting each Key at each date, and whether you are actually moving things forward or if you're just making more room to fuck up and loose it all.

Hank's threads are some of the most divisive on the forum. This is not meant as a personal criticism of Hank. In fact, I find his posts entertaining and he comes across as a good dude.

Some of my observations:

Hank has developed a certain niche with Tinder/Bar sluts in Philly. His approach works for him to a certain extent, but only within the context of this city and what he brings to the table. His posts should not be generalized for everyone. He takes a lot of heat because this is how he presents his writing (e.g. On...)

Experienced players see the limitations of the Game Hank espouses and they offer their justified critiques (see Clint Barton's response).

Hank's posts are couched as in Game advice. However, while professionally successful and bright, Hank's experiences are limited. He would be better served stepping outside his element and dating women from different cultural backgrounds and geographic areas. I think he will find that he will be appreciated for the intelligent, successful professional that he is and experience less rejection by the vapid Philadelphia sluts that he seeks to impress.

Sometimes we just need to get out our comfort zone, often we will find that it wasn't so comfortable after all.

Hank has a way with words and for Newbies, they think they have discovered the reincarnation of Mystery. For those Newbies, I suggest reading the Game archives from 2012-2014.
