Dude got a $200k education at a top School and did nothing with the degree.

Dude had a Captain's license to operate a 200+ foot yacht but worked as a deckhand making 1/3 the money.

Dude is a certified commercial saturation diver but just does it briefly part time.

Left the US Navy to join the French Foreign Legion.

Pretty impressive. A family friend of mine served in the legion during the Algerian war. The guy was tough as nails. Not sure which unit he fought in as he passed away before I had a chance to ask him. Being situated on Corsica were you allowed to spend time in Calvi in your down time / weekend?

I don't think being a virgin at his age is especially bad. He's older than I am but that doesn't mean he has zero insight or opinion to offer. He's lived long enough to form opinions and has done some cool things, we all have. Everyone on this forum can give advice based on their life experiences, regardless of how small that list is. Doesn't mean they are necessarily wrong or incorrect. I can respect him standing up for someone he considers a friend, being a virgin doesn't really have anything to do with his character.
