Probably not. But the technique I described isn't really a chair position either. Its more of a hybrid since the "ramp" is at an angle to the floor rather than horizontal and the slide that make it different (and way better) than standard RCG.

A cursory search didnt turn up a specific image so I dont think its common

I think reverse cowgirl is a position that looks good in porn - you can see most of female body and little of man's body - therefore it has gained popularity. Reverse cowgirl is definitely not a beta position to me. It's a position probably more preferable for porn, but I've had a handful of girls do it for me, just to see what it was like.
