As mentioned on the first page i can basically get away with murder. But at the same time, and i know it sounds contradictory, they will fly off the handle at the slightest provocation. I can sit on facebook all day no worries, but if i happen to tab in and out and she sees it while shes stressed about something i get screamed at. Meanwhile she might catch up on an episode of some reality tv she missed last night. She will claim she is swamped and i need to help her out and she will send me a series of tasks that take about 5 clicks/ten seconds each to complete (i mainly do database work) and then she will freak out when i have nothing to do 5 minutes after she sent me 'all this work'. If i consider what it takes for her to start yelling (dependent on mood obviously, most times she doesnt care), i would probably be screaming all day if i applied the same standards to her. I get to stay abreast of all the gossip but that is mainly just girls that she and other women hate which i knew anyway since its the ones with nice tits/asses.

I worked as a High School Teacher in Québec, Canada, between 1994 and 2006. I had to teach in many schools that were Female dominated.

Most of the schools I worked in, Primary and Secondary, were let's say from 60% to 95% controlled by women.

I do not plan to go back to teaching, but there is one thing I can tell you for sure : if I ever have an occasion to teach and the principal of the school is a woman, I'll decline.

Totally. The female boss in government that made me insane didn't know shit about the technical details of the various departments she ran and so decided to overcompensate in other areas. She would always spend hours on multiple edits for buzzwords and formatting. She would get all worked up because she didn't like the formatting of my tables in a report. I said to her "OK! but what about the NUMBERS" and her reply was "we'll see what input the rest of the management team has". She had zero clue about what they meant.

Compare that with my male boss for the same position before her. He was like "what do these numbers mean for me, what are the risks and potential questions"

If you're a strong or smart older man, especially if you are good in your field, they will work with incredible political skill to destroy you. There is no middle ground. If you think you have made peace with them, you are kidding yourself. They hate you, end of discussion. If they have any shreds of power, they will use that power to get you fired.

Most female bosses are the same, but if they are straight women, generally they'll destroy you via irrationality and/or incompetence and hyper-defensiveness. Whereas Lesbo bosses will destroy you out of pure spite.

However: women are taking over management in many fields. So like TheFather we men may have no choice but to work for them and try to trick them into not destroying us.

Bingo on the micro management. Part of the reason for this is that the jobs most of these women do are completely irrelevant. You could do away with their position and the staff would still function to the same degree. The micro management comes out of a need to 'appear busy' when in reality it's just a company wasting 50k per year on a position they never really needed.

When there is a department of men and women working together, work is divided this way. Women get the easy, cool, coveted jobs. Women get seniority, recognition and preferential treatment. Men get the scraps, the impossible to get done and the difficult people to work with. If a man for some strange reason gets a responsibility a woman wants, it will be taken from him without question. This is why gay men appear as try hards. They want to run with the girl crowd and get the same spots at the trough.
My advice is to specialize in something no woman would want to do and then excel at that.

So true, especially in an office/career environment. Most of the bitches in my office talked shit, or disrespect about their significant others....they were almost competitive with their spouse as to who had the most important career...it was gross.

The one girl I can recall that was always pleasant and supportive of her fiancee was a super hot, girl next door 21 year old that was engaged to a 50 year old...that was a friend of her Dad's growing up. We'd always ask her questions about it at happy hour when she was half in the bag and I'd whisper to my buddy "I feel like I'm listening to the plot of one of those 'barely legal' porn movies". 5 years ago I had a career at an old-line 100% male dominated big government defense contractor. I still look back with longing at working there. It was so damned nice, just no way to say it otherwise. You could do your job, hang our with the guys, play a little basketball, and go home. Decisions were made promptly and if you screwed up, you got immediately upbraided, zero behind the back shit. There were a few women in management, but they acted like the guys...no backstabbing. Otherwise the women were confined to the administration and accounting buildings...and guess what, the women were infinitely more happy in their jobs that way! Managers knew their shit, in fact, they were ultra world-spanning experts in their shit. Also, all the guys working there were 100% in top shape, I kid you not, it was bike riding, soccer, basketball heaven.

The differences between male and female business culture could not be more clear in my mind. Damn. Now I'm feeling stupid to have left there.

Being in my first year as a superior to women whose positions require BAs and often MAs, they have been extremely easy to intimidate, especially considering I was their colleague a year ago and 20 years younger. Every time I casually stroll through the hallways and encounter a female teacher (I'm in education as well) under my direct supervision, the change in body language, posture, eye contact, and vocal cadence is an amusing sight to see. These women have tenure. It would take EXTREME measures to terminate them yet they revert to subservient and docile creatures when interacting with a strong, confident, and competent authority figure.

Strangely enough, some of the best teachers for whom I am responsible are the pretty, younger ones. Initially they were indistinguishable from most of their coworkers, often worse. They clearly coasted by on their looks and social acumen. Their response to stern, fair direction caught me by surprise. Has I've come to learn in the last year or so and by finding this community, girls yearn to be led.

The male teachers give me passing nod "hello."

Probably the worst thing about working for a woman in a large corporation (less so in smaller ones) is that they just LOVE to follow every arcane rule and policy, especially if it makes things more complicated or inefficient. If you break said rule, they will probably tattle. Corpro type chicks really embrace totalitarianism. Men are far more willing to bend the rules when they find them to be stupid or inefficient. They're also less likely to rat on you for doing so.

Thank you for the high praise. One learns to be an astute observer of women when works with them all day, both the good ones and the bad ones. I got out of the Fortune 500 world for exactly that reason, the constant rules being shoved down my throat. Started my own business and have never looked back. If your current boss is a plain in your flesh, I strongly suggest you look for a lateral move within your company, look to get a promotion where she is no longer an issue, or search out jobs at competitors.

Remember, they are herd creatures and the herd survives by sticking together. Herd animals do not like independent thought, which is what rule bending requires. The herd instinct was very helpful for female survival in the wilderness where communication among women was essential. That constant micromanaging, dotting i's and so forth is a malign influence of what would be a proper skill in another environment.

Yes, yes, and YES. My last full-time corporate job was two years ago when I had one of the worst female bosses imaginable. Over 40, bitter, fat, ugly, incompetent, micromanaging, man-hating, cunty, part of an "equal opportunity" (minority) affirmative action hire....I could go on. She couldn't understand how to do her job to save her life, so she overcompensated for it by being a rules-Nazi and picking at every administrative aspect of the HR Handbook to act like she was adding any sort of managerial value when all of us knew she was a complete and total worthless fraud.

I remember during my last month with the company we had an incident where she sent me a series of e-mails (which are a female manager specialty, rather than direct in-person communication) admonishing me for coming in 20 minutes “late” one morning even though she had given me prior approval for it as well as leaving “early” on two different Fridays (in one instance where I was given prior approval from her, the other was because it was for a Happy Hour sponsored by the CFO). My female coworkers would come in late regularly as well, but she didn't care about that of course. She decided to take "corrective action" on me for this which required me to report directly to her in-person each morning when I arrived at work, when I went to lunch, when I returned from lunch, and when I left for the day. If she wasn't at her desk, I had to e-mail her when I was doing all of these things. It was bullshit, completely unprecedented and unprofessional for a salaried employee, but instead of losing my shit I decided to give her a dose of her own medicine.

I followed her requirements to the letter of the law, so much so that I e-mailed or notified her every single time I went to the men's room to take a shit or went to the floor above us to pick up a document or (professionally) consult with a coworker two desks over, etc. Every time I went to the kitchen to grab some water I'd e-mail or notify her when I left and then two minutes later when I returned. I'd get phone calls from outside vendors and shoot her emails informing her when they'd call and when I was off the phone. It got so bad that I was e-mailing or visiting her every 20 minutes to let her know what I was up to. She was seething when she figured out what I was doing and tried to get even with me by tallying up the minutes I was on my short breaks so she could take it out of my vacation time, but then I pointed out to her that the HR Handbook only allowed vacation and sick days to be taken off in half or full-day increments and the time off must be taken in consecutive hours, so she was shit out of luck. All about following the rules, right?

I'd had a few awful female bosses before that last job, which (among other things) helped push me to both start my own side business and continue to fully swallow the red pill. In that respect, I suppose I should be grateful for them. At the time of the above my side business had grown large enough that I was just about ready and able to leave that last shitty job, so the timing worked out. I left shortly after all of that bullshit, and I heard from a former coworker that they struggled mightily after I left because that former manager of mine was too incompetent to pick up the slack and was let go only a couple of months after I left.

Nowadays I work for myself, and when I take on freelance gigs I'm very discriminatory about who I'll be working with or for. If it's some female who I get a cunty or bossy vibe from, I'll simply pass on the assignment, because I can. Of all the advice I can offer to young men on taking employment, not working directly beneath a female is number 1 by about a million light years.
