But any guy who has spent time out and gotten to success knows that online stuff doesn't really compare. For the time and effort spent, it is not a contest as to which one is the better experience.

For the time you spend online, you could hit any of the spots listed in Tokyo Joe's thread and come out with a pack of solid numbers and contacts for hanging out.

Not to mention meeting the guys there who are actively offering to hang out and chill and go out and know all the spots.

Instead of going out and collecting life experiences guys are wasting away on apps.

Literally used the example of a night when I COULD NOT GO OUT as a time to use Tinder and cast a net for some nibbles. It is not an "instead of" situation. Why are people so deathly afraid of incorporating some online game into their repertoire? It is exactly the same as if you LINE closed someone and are playing the text game with them, it just has a couple of quick steps first.

For example: Last night when I COULDN'T GO OUT, I typed out 3 short messages to a girl, and secured her LINE info. Then played the text game to secure a coffee date.

Someone call the police.

If I can go out, I will go out and practice game on girls. I am just seeking to improve a tool in the arsenal, not trying to replace real life picking up with staying locked in my room.

When you say 'high level' girls, what do you mean? If you're talking about appearances, I do not know where you're meeting your girls because sure there are some 帰国子女(Japanese who stayed abroad) who are stunning but the vast majority of hot girls in Japan are not going to have much english skills(apart from air stewardesses, they are truly the best of both worlds)


Girls who are open to dating other races would have a better command of English is basically the standard for most countries, not only Japan. What we are discussing about and are concerned about however is the quality of these girls, not whether or not they are opened to dating foreigners.

Went to bangkok, my hsv started acting up.

Yeah, what i mean by "High level" is the 帰国子女girls, not so much appearance although you have to admit alot of them are hot. I think a lot of these types of girls have the confidence in their appearance, hence confidence to go abroad and interact with foreign ppl. They know how to dress and theyve got that western attitude, but not completely, while still retaining that Japanese obidience which makes them ideal. 帰国子女girls or the ones who studied abroad for a few are what i am most attracted to. I spent over a month in Japan. I was actually disappointed with how few women were actually on the app. I ran out of profiles on the swipe list fairly quick in Tokyo. When I moved to Fukuoka (which is Japan's 5th or 6th largest city?) there were only like 4 profiles to swipe on...

Granted I was doing this in March. I think Japan in summer will at least have a constant flow of tourists or summer hormone locals signing up.

But overall it's a disappointing country for online dating. Sure one can do bar game but you'll probably deplete your bank account fairly quickly just because Japan is an expensive place.

And David Bond on YouTube just produced a video saying he didn't like dating in Japan (because most women only have 1 day off in a week and there's a lot of competition to get them to spend that day with you. Unfortunately that might be true for Taiwan as well but I'll find out when I go).

That's compared to how I don't even live in Taiwan but just GPS passporting to Taipei got me nearly 50 matches on the day I signed up.
