I'm not his fucking alt. Jesus fucking christ. I didn't even agree with hating on online dating do you guys even read my posts. All I gave was my personal reasons for not liking online and I'm obviously not the only who doesn't like LA. Pretty sure there's like several 50+ page threads on LA in the travel section that discuss how shitty this city can be game/lifestyle wise.

Is this how this community conducts itself? Witch hunts like some fucking feminists cuz some users agreed with the points of one guy y'all don't like?

Go back and read my posts and say how anything I said was bad or illogical or over the top. The guy had a meltdown but he made some legit points. I mean there's many arguments to be made for not liking online or not liking LA.

My disagreement with him is why care what works for other guys? I wish I could get laid easily online but it's never worked for me so I focused on what did. Cold approach.

I don't give a fuck if other guys are getting laid on tinder or whatever. I like that other guys are out there winning. I've made several posts on this forum and have always been thankful for any advice and now I'm getting attacked. It's like you guys literally didn't even read any of my posts.

- LA sucks because it's too expensive and spread out. The last time I went there, it was like a $50 Uber ride from my hotel in Beverly Hills to Center City (or whatever the hell you call the downtown area). My siblings live in Hollywood. They pay more than double my mortgage to live in a teeny tiny apartment, compared to my giant house. If the kids want to see me, they can come back to Philly, where things are civilized. I hate driving anywhere. LA is the worst city I have ever been to. I would never go back there. (The Beverly Hills Hilton is a fun place to stay, though. You'll feel like Hugh Hefner). Between the traffic, the expenses, and the sprawl, I'm not sure why anyone lives there. But whatever. To quote Eminem, "It's your life, live it however you wanna..."

- Online dating has become incredibly more challenging for guys who rely on game and not looks. I used to pick up a few lays each month off OkCupid back in 2013. Five years later, my online game has atrophied. Tinder has been a total waste of my time, and resulted in nothing. Bumble is okay. Online dating favors men who are tall and very good looking. My "high value" profession and strong game doesn't give me any advantage over a guy who is 6'3 and has tattoos. Hence, I am at a disadvantage. Further, I do not have time to sit around and swipe all day. I get bored after like 3 minutes looking at pictures and swiping. Then having to respond to messages is awful. I'd rather just go to a bar and talk to random women. It's quicker, easier, and more fun.

- This is a tight knit community. We get a lot of trolls and weirdos. That's why we're suspect of new people. I can't believe I've been here for three years - I still feel like a newbie. And I was at the fucking Battle of Toronto. After the whole "pro-rape" meetup fake news fiasco, it became obvious that this forum definitely needs to be tightly moderated. There has been a lot of unwarranted and unnecessary media drama, compounded by the media's desire to create fake news. ("Mens rights!" "Pro rape!" "Pickup artists!") Hell, me and MikeCF did a Philly Trump Meetup, and antifa tried to find us out. We had to tweet out a bunch of fake meeting locations. It sounds silly, but these people are nuts...

I'll reiterate what PapayaTapper said. Its All Love - don't take it personally. Many new or low-post accounts are trollish so there is sometimes a guilty until proven innocent mentality. It's necessary.

I also agree that he made some legit points. He made an excellent point in another thread about how online game can make your game worse. It can do this in multiple ways such as making you less social or by making you somewhat irritable towards women because you are constantly dealing with attention seekers and flakes.

Online game can also be a trap for a lot of guys including myself. You think you will only use it a little but it becomes addictive (the apps are designed to be addictive) and weeks or months go by before you realize that you are using it far too much and it has screwed up your mindset. All forms of game have their pros and cons and online game certainly has many cons. However, some guys are successful with it and some guys could be successful with it if they were more disciplined with how they use it.

Unfortunately he combined some legitimate points with an onslaught of idiotic behavior - his experiment, his original post was too confrontational, he was disrespectful to valuable members, he was using a fake account to support his comments.

I've used online game for about half of the last two to three years and I've probably relied on it too much for 80% of the time I was using it. Guys relying too much on online game is a legitimate problem but this thread gives us an example of a much bigger problem that we all have to an extent. Insecurity. We all have insecurities but some guys are a lot worse than others.

Hating on another guy's game is one of the most obvious and most common signs of insecurity issues. The guys who make a lot of unnecessary insults are always the guys who are:
- big baller trolls
- making up stories about banging an 8 from daygame when she was really a 5 or possibly didn't exist at all
- giving a lot of unsolicited advice that isn't very good advice
- screwing over friends for the chance to get a girl
- whining about how much easier game is for guys who are taller, have more money, or whatever excuse they can come up with

It's always those guys because the root cause is always the same. Insecurity.

Game is security and anti-game is insecurity. They are the exact same things in an abstract kind of way.
