The decision of VeChain to offering a THOR bonus for X Nodes with 6k token before 20th of March is causing a migration of coins from the exchanges to the personal wallets to lock up the nodes. I think that we could see an uptrend since such coins won't be sold anymore as they are being locked by the investors in the wallets and removed from the market. Likely the volatility will increase.

I don't do day trading to avoid getting rekt in case of sudden spike of the price; my strategy is rather to accumulate on every dip as much as I can until the launch of the mainnet. Every additional VEN matters considering that I seriously believe in a target price of 100$ on long term.

Based on what?

How much money needs to flow into Vechain for that to happen, and why would it do so?

We already know cryptotoken market caps have no relation to company market caps -- entirely different metrics. So why do you foresee demand for VeChain tokens increasing by an order of magnitude?

It's basic math, it needs ~50B MC for that to happen. That's not going to happen until we get back in healthy overall MC territory, 1-2T MC overall.

But with that, very possible. There's very few coins that aren't entirely driven by speculation. This is one of the few that has actual (yuge) clients that are going to run actual parts of their business using VTHO.

Even if the market continues to suck, I still expect we'll do well this year. $100 would surprise me. $30 wouldn't.

I think that there will be a strong increase in the demand not only from the customer side, but also from the big businesses which will buy VET in order to generate Thor to make the blockchain working for them. The model is very smart since for an increase of the number of clients/partners utilizing the VeChain technology and blockchain, should correspond an increase of the demand for the token.
I strongly believe in the blockchain technology having the most destructive case and utility for the supply chain and storing/management of information, rather than for the crypto-payments. Additionally I suppose that Breyer made his own due diligence on the project and has invested in VeChain with all the interest to make his investment paying.
Then again, this is only my personal opinion and you can make your own evaluations since the technology is still young and the market globally unpredictable.

That's mostly an artifact of the fact that Ven had its big pump a few days later than most of the other coins, but yeah, VeChain's been doing a great job keeping up its price. Its team is really good about watching out for investors and marketing themselves.

I don't see how it does anything but dump after the 20th. The money that's left is back to pre-X node status quo: waiting for mainnet launch.

There also could be some big partnership announcement on Tuesday to prevent the price going down. We will see.

It's a tough one to call, because a lot of people that will be buying in are buying in to secure an X node, but there will also be people with large amounts of cash trading the hype and attention it's getting, who will no doubt take profits tomorrow.

I'm happy either way. I'm prepared for it to dump so that I can buy a few thousand more, or if it goes up, that's great because I'll have made some profits.

The eXodus of VEN from the exchanges to the wallets is irrepressible. Binance had to move around 40 millions tokens from cold to hot wallets to balance the migration of his VEN to the personal wallets.
It means that an additional 10% of the global circulating supply has been locked in the wallets in the last few weeks and I imagine the pace will increase in the last nine hours left.
