I'm prescribing you a heavy dose of good old Bench Press to fill out that chest.
A side of curls to get those T-shirt arms will help too.

Edit: holy shit your traps are beast! Lol what's that from?

Get close with a proper cut. Slim fit/taper shirts.

When meeting a girl, pull her close for a hug. She'll feel your hard body and then start touching your abs.

Move her hands on your body. She'll figure it out.

RE: Ideal Male Body Type. What women actually like.
The body you want to attain should come from your own goals, this goes without saying.

From experience, I have noticed Southern European girls prefer lower bodyfat percentages to actual muscular guys and Northern European girls prefer the muscles over sub-14% bodyfat. I am inclined to believe that this is due to the 'beach-culture' in which people are topless mainly, you will notice a lot of ripped guys in these countries.

Since this has been pretty much agreed upon, I reckon a combination of low bodyfat and an aesthetic physique is the most important nonetheless we must consider the whole picture.

Apart from aesthetics, there is the confidence of being in shape. I noticed just by my higher confidence levels (a mix of the effects of the workout results on my psyche & elevated testosterone levels. As a baseline, this attracts 2-3x as many women as prior.

We must also note that being in good shape is an indicator of good sexual performance in the sense that you can dictate the tempo in bed, be dominant and have the strength to do whatever you want in the bedroom.

The ratio of shoulders to waist is probably the most important factor as well.

Quote:About 80 percent of 105 women queried cited a wide shoulder-to-hip ratio as being attractive, the study found, with the other 20 percent split equally between height and flaccid penis size.

Women choose men by shoulder size first

While genetics play a role in this, playing sports such as rowing and rugby definitely has increased the size of my traps and kept them at that size. Even in off seasons without hitting the gym, this alone keeps my physical attractiveness high, especially during winter if you can layer and accentuate your physique. During summer obviously, cutting is optimal.

I would also like to draw attention to the importance of having a bronze tan. Having a good tan will add 1 point to your attractiveness, no matter what. Same goes for women. Tanned people are by default sexier; in sunny climates it is expected, in colder climates it is desirable.

Lastly, the best thing about being in shape is the fact that you can automatically filter out the girls lower than a 7 as they will feel intimidated by you and not bother. This intimidation I find is crucial in attracting women from the higher end of the spectrum due to the fact that:

1. Women want what other women cannot have. You can easily use their ego and self-esteem in your favour. The hotter women want to feel entitled to being able to 'catch you in their net'. With less 'average' women wanting you, your status increases- the competition is between the hottest. They just want to show you off to their friends.

2. It keeps the women on their toes. They know you are an attractive male. If your game is in check, it becomes their mission to keep you around. Keeping them around is another post in itself. Sidenote however, being in shape is ideal for one-night stands. For relationships, many women will feel jealous and threatened, both good and bad depending on how well you can handle your shit.

You automatically win as you do not need to deal with the average girls, your body will automatically qualify women as it oozes status and you are in beast mode.

The best way to approach this is to have the body and let others notice. People notice no matte what because everyone is insecure and they are analyzing you for any 'faults' to validate their egos. No need to go changing your facebook profile to you being ripped, just hit the beach and clubs and people will notice.

So these are the pics of what % of women chose which body as the "most attractive" in different runs

To test muscle:

[Image: ideal-male-body-gerard-butler-christian-...-ketis.jpg]

To test body fat:

[Image: ideal-male-body-slides-tyler-durden-brad-pitt.jpg]

The thing that stands out to me most is that in the second test, the number 3 guy who is pretty chubby gets way more love than the skinny dudes. You're better off eating McDonald's in a girl's eye than being a rail.

What's funny is that the muscular guy who gets 1% of the love in the second survey looks to be the same as the man who comes out at second with 9.4% in the third survey.

This kind of study is useful for dudes playing beach game. But with clothes on the results would skew more muscular. They should run the same test with guys wearing t-shirts and button-downs. I bet you'll see slightly different results.

I think that 1% really muscular guy has a more exagerrated "V" shape going on. His waist is really tiny compared to his chest and shoulders. The second-place 9.4% guy has a more solid midsection, looks more solid in general.

But the 1% guy is also at a weird angle and shit. I'm sure if that guy were at the beach hitting on chicks it would go fine for him.

Do you notice the jackedest dudes wearing clothes doing well at bars and shit? I find that I never notice that, and honestly the big hulking guys who everyone notices works out like a madman, I don't often see him with the hottest chick. Lots of times in fact juice heads seem to be with like trashy chubby fake tanned chicks. Maybe NYC is different from the rest of the country tho. Not saying jacked players here aren't getting it in with hot chicks, but you see plenty of gameless meatheads with ugly chicks.

Well the thing is, you can be quite jacked and not look like a ridiculous gorilla when fully clothed. So yeah, guys who look like roided up pro wrestlers even when clothed do not get the hottest chicks in general, or at least do not get hotter girls than less massive, but well-built guys.

The only guy who looks ridiculous in these photos is the last man in the third row. He'll do well with chiseled, flat-chested bodybuilding chicks.

And yeah NYC is different than the rest of the country. This was discussed regarding hipster fashion elsewhere.

All this proves is what I already know.

Women don't know what they want. If 72% of the women wanted a Brad Pitt body then 99.99 percent of the players here won't be getting laid.

As long as your not this guy I think you will be alright.

Yet again even he has two hot babes around him.

I was scrawny until I was 22. Rail thin, people were worried. I married, and by 28 I was fat -- 36" chest, 36" waist, and probably 38" at the navel.

Now I'm 38. Last year I got my waist down to 31" (Atkins style) and this year I'm at 29" waist and a 39" chest. I can add another 1-3" on my chest this year (I can bench my weight for the first time repeatedly, 145#).

Close to 100% of my clothes are either bespoke or at least tailor fit. I have Target shirts I had taken in. In the past 2 months, since I started working out Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays (I installed a gym at my space), my dimensions have grown and all of my personally picked out clothes are starting to get too tight in the arms and chest.

The flip side is that women are noticing -- and not just gals who've known me for a decade, but women right off the street.

I was at Nordstrom today looking over the clearance dress shirts for stuff I can have tailored, and when I was walking out, a relatively cute-average (6/7) gal commented on my back physique. I was, though, wearing a cheater T-shirt (think REALLY thin ringspun cotton, tight as can be), which fits fine under dress shirts I try on so I don't need to hit the changing room. She opened me with "Wow, your back...do you work out a lot?"

No, I didn't push her for a number, but the validation was nice. To be honest, I work out MAYBE 15 minutes a day, tops, 3 days a week, and I'm slowly getting cut pretty well.

Diet is easily 70%-80% of defined cut, and exercise is minimal. I don't supplement with anything but magnesium; I was doing Yohimbine HCL 12.5mg for 6 months to try to get rid of the stubborn fat remaining, but I was getting wood whenever the wind blew, so I stopped that.

I'm down to 9-10% body fat, and I would love to get to 8%. That Brad Pitt photo is my intended physique, if I can get there (more protein, added weights), but I am fearful of getting too bulky and needing to work too hard to maintain it. My current program of 15 minutes x 3 days a week is EASY; plus when I travel, I can do body weight exercises and I maintain just fine.

If I get bulky, clothes are going to cost a fortune. If I get bulky, maintaining that will be a major time problem.

I'd rather be cut and fit and not need to worry about custom clothes or time constraints.

Congrats! It may be worth investing in a sewing machine and doing a short needle work course. That way you can learn to do all the basic alterations you need saving $$$$ in the long term. This will also allow you to choose from a bigger range when shopping. It's something I'm looking to do.

I'm am surprised that few have spoken about the benefits of swimming and cycling on physique. Add to these crunches and that's top, middle and bottom covered. Plus it's all low impact for those with joint or hereditary arthritis concerns. As long as you're coming correct with your diet all should be good IME.

I will NEVER forget the experience of swimming in Ibiza years back when I was spinning there. I swam back to land after a good session in the sea and my chest & arms were pumped/ripped (as they do post exertion). As I'm walking up the beach through the sun-bathing masses to where my friends were, I'm typically getting loads of eye fucks when two random girls came running over with a camera and begged to have their picture taken with me in front a pack playa d'en bossa beach. I guess this is one situation where being black helped stand out for all the good reasons...Apparently we don't swim too well.

This guy shows up in the cover of over 100 romance novels. This is what a lot of women masturbate to. Women pay money to buy books with his body on the cover. Don't sell your self short. He didn't.

Mike O'Hearn's a beast. Bear in mind he's in full show ready, muscle magazine cover shape here. Normally he wouldn't look as extreme and would be more aesthetic.

Know what the irony is?

Go to the Arnold Classic in Columbus or the Mr. Olympia.

The guys who look like that can't date normal girls - not because girls don't want to, but because the guys don't want to.

Guys who look like that are so repulsed by body fat that girls with feminine, soft edges are a major turn-off.

So you'll almost always see guys like him with super ripped, lean, muscular women that most of us wouldn't find attractive.

It's a trippy phenomenon. As your body changes, so does your perception of women.

Get that big and ripped, and suddenly you look at women entirely differently and view normal, cute girls as being fat.

Interesting observation, as I would agree as I've become more fit. While my overall fitness has gone up, I've learned the hard way how much diet plays a part. I'd say diet is 70% if not 80% important once you have a good lifting base, and the actual workout is just part of the daily grind.

I'm 6'4" and fluctuate between 245-260 lbs depending on my workout, schedule, time of yea, etc. However, now that I'm older, getting below 16% body fat seems very difficult. I went in the gym 3 years ago on May 5th at 198 Lbs., and left the gym that same year on Halloween weighing 252 Lbs. I packed on some serious muscle and some fat too unfortunately.

I have an ectomorph frame so that was a bitch to eat that much and lift that hard and keep the weight on. I definitely got more looks when I approached the 235 lb.+ range, shoulders got broader, traps bigger, arms somewhat bigger, legs bigger.

My goal was to work on my weaknesses. So my legs got way stronger, as they were pretty thin. Now I'm in a maintenance and scuplting phase. But over all, being a bit of a meat head now, I'd say I genuinely get more looks and interest from a broader range of hot, fit women than before by an increase of apx. 30%-40%.

I need to work on love handles and some belly distension - I have a herniated abdomen birth defect (not obnoxious, but slightly noticeable) - to get my overall waist size down, then I'm pretty well set. But no doubt, I've changed the homeostasis of my body going from 198 lbs. to 250 lbs. average and that has brought me some easier, better choices in women.

Above all though, without game, its all shit. And at this size, you sometimes have to work game that counters the typical assumptions women have about meat heads. I'm sort of on that cusp size-wise.

That is an interesting observation.

I honestly can't remember once in my life when I have seen a weightlifting monster with a super hot girl.

Attractive ones? Yes. Sometimes. Usually it is a buff girl. Super fly? No.

The places I go to it is more cats that range from really good shape to skinny hipster that get all the hot girls.

I also don't no if I by the "romance novel" argument. Fat girls and gay guys like romance novels.

Between Convict Conditioning and 4 packs of v-grey v-necks (try different brands, the sleeve lengths and shirt lengths are all different), I've been getting all sorts of stares, smiles, and compliments.

I've been doing CC for the past six months and gotten great results with using a spreadsheet - easy way to see your progress. up until week 8 it doesn't seem like much with one tab per exercise, but at 26 weeks watching the numbers climb steadily up it's motivating to see all the momentum.

Spreadsheets are really quick and easy to set up, and since it's all at home you can just open your laptop for workout mix and type in rep # between sets. Takes 5-15 minutes per day 5 days/week.

Now I have the "fit without bulky" look and I'm stronger at boxing and capoeira. I quit the gym six months ago when I started. It takes a while to build momentum an see real results (3 months for me) but it's paying off big time, even though I'm only on step 2 of 10 for most of them.

The funny thing to me is that body type 1 and 2 are almost identical, just different poses and one is more pale with shitty tattoos and scraggly chest hair. Also 3 probably scored higher than partly 4 because the pic would cause most people to perceive him as taller(plus the tan). Really this entire "study" is bullshit as the women are also considering the tan and tattoos and various other factors than body type.

Maybe this has been pointed out already, but wouldn't the fact that they used Brad Pitt's famous picture (minus the head), and some other recognizable images be a confounding variable?

Maybe I'm just fed up with poorly done studies or being overly analytical here, but what young woman isn't gonna instantly know that's Brad Pitt with the blood dripping and choose that one?

Maybe it wouldn't have changed the results, but at the very least, it's not hard to get similar photos using the same angle, lighting, clothing, etc. with the only real difference being the body fat and/or muscle amounts

Yeah as you said this is a shit study. I'm actually surprised to see guys in the thread acting like this bears any weigh whatsoever. Not just because it's a shit study, but fucking game 101 is that you can't believe a god damn word women say about what attracts them.

This "study" has as much weight as a Cosmo poll.

RE: Ideal Male Body Type. What women actually like.
This obsession with huge men (fat or muscle, anything but slim) is a thing American women have. I rarely meet European women who are into this shit as much as American women are (maybe insecurity about their own slimness?).

I've also learned non-white American girls are more into slim guys than white American girls.

Interesting observation. I agree though that most women do SAY they prefer slim to 'athletic' men, however their definition of athletic varies. What I will say with certainty is what women SAY they prefer to what they instinctually go for is a chasm - but indeed, the Arnold Schwarzenegger type physiques aren't considered attractive. I'd say something like Hugh Jackman as Wolverine or Henry Cavill in Man of Steel are about as big as they really want. Which is understandable, because it's naturally achievable.

Yeah, but compared to 99% of American men, those guys are extremely muscular, or at least they are in time for film shoots.

Whenever guys worry about training too hard and waking up one day looking like Ronnie Coleman, I laugh. I would bet almost nobody reading this has crossed the line into being unattractively muscular. Rather, the issue is that a lot of guys pack on too much fat on their build, which is a completely separate issue.

Also, I suspect that many of the women who say they want slimmer guys are describing what they're interested in as a long-term mate. But that's not what we care about here. A well built physique can evoke a visceral, instant attraction that's conducive to same night lays.

From training in MMA for a while, I kind of get where the "brad pitt fight club" type physique might be the more favorable one. A lot of guys come into the gym with large intimidating physiques, but when it comes time to spar/roll, it doesn't translate to "fight strength" as much (yes I made that term up). This shock to a lot of these overly bigger guys causes a lot of them to not show up after a few weeks, it kind of throws them in a loop when they can't keep a guy smaller than them pinned down very well. However, for those larger guys who stay, an interesting metamorphosis takes place. Their arms, shoulders start to shrink a bit but this "fight strength" along with their aggression start to sky-rocket. So they don't look as big as before and they lean out, but you can feel the difference in their punches and when they grab a hold of you (granted, grip strength always increases training BJJ). And when they're on top of you, you feel it now far more than when they were bigger.

So in essence, the "brad pitt fight club" look might be more in tune with the look of someone who can win in a fight as opposed to the more body builder look. Take a look at a lot of the UFC guys. They're cut more than big. Even the big guys don't have the really bulbous looking muscles. Just something to think about.

Civilize the mind but make savage the body.

I think you're on to something, man, highly plausible.
Reminds me of reading about myofibril hypertrophy compared to sarcoplasmic hypertrophy... Theoretically if you wanted to most efficiently achieve the skinny yet vascular look lots of MMA guys have, you'd be advised to stay in the low rep ranges at the gym.
