I think this depends on how you play it. From an "amused mastery" stance, showing a woman you don't think she matters enough to know your opinions puts her in a subordinate position where she's more eager for approval. I've been surprised at how girlish and needy some adult women will become once they find out there's something they can't get a man to tell them.

It also opens the door to making her fill in the blanks and convince herself that you believe whatever her imaginary perfect man would believe.

Definitely agree with this. A girl I'm seeing now is anti-Trump and although she doesn't proclaim to be a feminist, she touts that line pretty close.

I don't like to engage in politics with her, so I'll just kind of chuckle when she brings something political up and blow her off. Sometimes though I can't help it and I engage with her. I'll destroy her argument with logic and, like many of us here suspect, she likes being put in her place. It's weird. Her vibe changes and she gets all mushy on me.

I really think most women know what's right and wrong and use feminist ideals as one big shit test. It sounds fucking ridiculous and nonsensical, but when did women ever make sense?

Every single college girl I've dated or banged the last 5 years has been a self-described 'feminist' except for one Trumper. I'm currently dating a "feminist."

My absolute blatant chauvinism turns her on.

I make constant refusals to do stuff because it's for "women and children."
