Day 16: Met forum member stefpdt, really nice chill guy. Before that, drank in the park with Serbian friends.

Anyway, it was good to meet another Westerner over here, especially given his immediate liking of Serbia, only after being here for a very short time (we have that in common)... Was great bar-hopping with him and talking with him for several hours. Serbian friends liked him a lot, and a very well-informed guy all around.

Good to meet you stefpdt, and see you soon!

Likewise, I can now vouch that Dragan is a solid dude with a very bright future ahead of himself.

He has a tight crew of some of the realest Balkan dudes you’ll meet.

A few notes on Serbia:

- I thought I would like Budapest more than Belgrade, but the exact opposite is true. Serbs are the most down to earth people I’ve ever met. I immediately loved this place.

- Everything seems to be at a 50% discount if you’re coming from a Western country. Money goes very far here. I’ve been eating these massive chicken sandwiches that cost 250 Serbian dinars ($2.50), and they fill me up for the entire day. Big Mediterranean-style salads are about 100 dinars or so ($1). The non-GMO food is also incredible. You can actually feel the difference in your body after eating truly clean food.

- I’ve only been here for a few days, but the Serbian women seem incredible so far. Haven’t interacted with them too much yet, but I will report back after more approaches and escalation.

Day 17: My allergies are flaring up, and every day it seems like ends up with something crazy happening. Getting approach anxiety again, will have to make massive numbers of spam approaches in a few days when I feel 100% . At work, we had some cake, female coworker persuades me to have some... "Did you like the cream pie..." Man, I love the humor here.

Day 18: Met forum member Bigfoot with stefpdt, great guy, has everything properly sorted. Had some great war stories to share... Brainstorming openers, given that some members suggested some already on this thread. Came-up collectively with, "do you like turbo-folk?" Still in the alpha-testing phase at the moment, but I think it's gonna be gold. Good work guys!

Couple other random things. Car Go (app) is the way for all you foreigners to get around with zero issue/ hassle. Seems to work pretty well given the state of taxis in Belgrade.

Rode the bus today, not really giving a fuck, I hate the bus, but at least it's free (hehe).

Girls have been bumping this at work on repeat. Maybe they've unknowingly chosen the unofficial Project Belgrade theme song.

thanks for the kind words Dragan!

I had some great time with you and stefpdt - he turned out to stay in the same building where I am; such a ridiculous coincidence;
The bar we were was pure gold. I sent some pics to my Croatian pals around the world and they were laughing so hard - the place is such a shrine to Tito, I have never seen anything like that.

regarding the Serbian girls - once thing I noticed straight away in comparison to the Budapest (where I live at the moment) , they tend to be taller and with bigger boobs than Hungarians. As a fairly tall guy, I love it.

RE: Project Belgrade Summer '18
Absolutely hilarious that me and Bigfoot both booked bachelor pads in the same building. It was cool chilling with you and Dragan yesterday, and giving our waitress shit about listening to turbofolk.

I went to a Couchsurfing meet-up last night (taking notes from Digital Nomad's thread) and learned some valuable lessons.

I walked in, gave a girl a high five, and then spilled some chick's beer all over the place. Totally embarrassing, but I said fuck it, and just powered through the disastrous entrance.

So I started working the room, and eventually clicked with this local Serbian chick. This was the first time that I understood why people say you need to have your "backstory" straight when you're in Serbia. This chick absolutely grilled me about why I was staying in Belgrade of all places. I just told her the truth, didn't really feel the need to lie, and explained my situation (I'm a business owner, can travel the world, and stay wherever I want, etc.) Overall, this girl was average-looking, but very smart and curious about my reasons for being in Serbia.

At closing time, I get her phone number as everyone is leaving the venue, and go in for the kiss. She turns her head and forces me to go for the cheek kiss.

We walk to her car, and she offers me a ride back to my place. Then, she says we're going to drive for a bit first before she drops me off. She takes me to some pizza place and goes into a long story about how she likes this particular pizza place because it has really good pizza...and also because she used to hook up with a guy who works there.

Major shit test.

I say, "So you drove me to this pizza place to show me the guy who you hooked up with? Fuck this pizza guy. He's a faggot." Then I turn on the ignition on her car, and tell her to drive me home.

She crossed a boundary with me, and I basically called her on it. I also enjoyed playing into her drama, and spiking her emotions.

This worked, and she became way more attracted after our bit of drama played out.

She drives me home, I go in for the kiss once again, and we start making out in her car like highschoolers.

We also made plans to meet later in the week.

A couple lessons.

Lesson #1: The game is traumatic at times. Sometimes you'll spill beer all over the place (completely sober) and look absolutely retarded in front of large groups people. But you only need to make it work with one girl to have a successful night. It doesn't matter if you burn bridges with 50 chicks throughout the night. 1 closure is all you need for a successful night.

Lesson #2: This particular girl was extremely receptive to aggressive physical game. I was touching her, holding her hand, grabbing her by the head while making out with her, and giving her the caveman treatment. I love that you can actually be a man in Serbia, and girls will give you positive reinforcement for it. This country is very refreshing.

RE: Project Belgrade Summer '18
Day 20 / Part II: I did a few approaches in the park, and they were all blow-outs, almost immediately. Did some bar-hopping with several friends, was disappointed the bar we were at was unable to make a proper mojhito. Later was in in New Belgrade for more bar-hopping. Completely different vibe than regular Belgrade.

Later was with friends and we decided to try the splavs... The funny thing is they were trying to pick up girls on the street outside the splavs. We were all trying to pick up girls for several hours before we even went into a splav, and it didn't even go that well. Too many dudes and too few girls. We finally ended up in a splav, and it was a fucking turb0 folk splav, it was already 6 AM at this point, they handed us 6 ounce beers for 4 US dollars, and everyone in the splav was on drugs, standing on chairs dancing to the music. I could only stand the turbo folk music for 30 minutes--it was painful. Later we headed out of the splav with the girls we were with, and one of my friends tried to escalate with them, but it was already pointless at that time. Later, rode the bus without buying a ticket back to my spot. Got back around 7 or 8 AM.

Outside of Cuba or Florida or fancy craft cocktail bars, these aren't worth ordering. Bar-tenders hate making them because they take time, so in a busy night you're pretty much guaranteed a crappy drink at a standard bar.

Yeah, that's basically true, I think bartenders will sabotage them to discourage re-orders. But sometimes the refreshment of a mohito is needed.

Day 21: Took the day off.

Day 22: This will probably be a food post because I'm hungry right now, but I will try to cover other relevant stuff.

I got some ajvar from macedonia, and this shit is incredible, it is literal Balkan crack. You spread this shit out on bread with some cheese and have a glass of wine, and it is incredible...

Casual drinking with my Serb crew, hit up the bar, have a 4 dollar cocktail (incredible by the way), watch a basketball game (NBA) and it's strangely relaxing. Later hit up some fast food, and the beer store and come to my place and pass out. In America, that would be a shitty night. But here, it's a great night in my opinion. I have all these places on lock, it's like "Cheers", everyone knows your name when you walk in...

It's "ajvar" not "avjar". I wouldn't go so far to call it Balkan crack but I like it, especially hot variants. My friends like to spread it on pizza, but I prefer using them with čevapi and other meat.

Yeah man this is a mistake on my part (corrected), sometimes I have trouble with the spelling... The mistake would be much worse if I tried to spell it in Cyrillic. But yeah, it may be Balkan crack: https://www.slavorum.org/red-is-the-new-...substance/ ...

They have some sort of spread on pizza here, I think it's a mayonnaise-based spread, maybe with a bit of spice, but that stuff is incredible on a pizza or a pizza-based sandwich...

edit: for some reason I'm thinking a lot about english language grammar here. I think my grammar is getting better lol...

The so called '' turkish'' culture is a mix of Persian-Islamic, arabic, and local anatolian-eastern roman cultures.... mixed with balkans/orthodox cultures.

Especially the food and buildings.

How many serbian chicks have you banged till now ? did you have any success?

I couldn't read all your pages and this report is very detailed.

Bravo to that btw.

Yeah very possible, but again, I would call it spicy mayonnaise. It is very popular here to get pizza here with this topping on it.

RE: Project Belgrade Summer '18
It's raining tonight in Belgrade, so I have a chance to provide a little update.

Regarding Couchsurfing girl, I found out that she was most likely crazy, so I'm honestly glad that we had some miscommunication and basically flaked on each other.

I rescheduled our date because she texted me too late, and tried to follow up with her the next day, but she went nuts on me after that. I saw the red flags earlier, but basically ignored them. Always trust your gut guys.

(I feel that she would have been an easy lay, but the insane-girl-drama would NOT have been worth it.)

I had another opportunity to pull at a small event on Saturday night, but for whatever reason I was being way too passive. This girl was giving me massively positive IOIs all night, but I didn't isolate her. We were vibing really well and having a cool conversation, and I basically got complacent. Completely my fault. Next time, I'll be in "kill mode" and prepared to come up with any reason to isolate when I'm getting positive IOIs. (This girl wasn't that hot. But again, I probably would have gotten the lay had I been more aggressive with her.)

Lesson learned: "Do you want to be liked, or do you want to be fucked?" When I go out next weekend, I'll keep in mind that *closing is what matters most*. You can flirt with a girl all night and have amazing chemistry together, but you have to pull the trigger sooner rather than later if you want to get laid.

A quick note on Serbian women: They're probably in the same league (difficulty-wise) as girls from Russia, Hungary, and other FSU states. So I try to approach them with the mindset that I'm the fun, exotic American guy who's going to bang them. They respond extremely well to alpha male behavior and want you to lead all of your interactions with them. While Serbian girls are difficult to hook up with, they're actually pretty friendly and curious for the most part.

22 days in, no bang, no date, no make out, not even getting a number. Dragan, do you realise you're, for all intended purposes, fucking around? If you don't step up for real, you won't have results. Period. By now you should be no less than 200 hard approaches in. Instead, you're regaling us with stories about food and drinks. This is no foodies' Forum, get real for Christ's sake.

The longer you stare into the abyss, the harder it will be to jump, and jump is what you need. You need to look that demon square in the eye and build iron-discipline and will. Write it down on paper, declare a feasible agenda for the day to your friends and act accountably, e.g., "Today I'm rolling a solo session and won't have a dinner until 10 direct approaches in". Thie is the only way, you know it deep down, remove the mental buffers and square off with the damn challenge. Become a man.

I agree with ksbms, - - you and I have been talking a bit over whatsapp and you seem to be spending way too much time with this local social circle you developed there. Which is good to have but it's not getting you any results.

You need to start being proactive about meeting girls and forget about politics, the country, and culture ect...

Focus on your health, job and professional pursuits first and then apply your extra time and energy getting some pussy on rotation.

Dragan, people are telling you the truth in an attempt to help you brother.

I agree with ksbms' action plan of doing 10 approaches per day. That's the basic recipe for success. If you approach 10+ girls per day and focus on *improving every social interaction that you have* then you're eventually going to get good results. But you have to put in the work.

Basically, we all have to accept that learning game is a mentally painful experience. But it's fucking worth it damnit.

I met a guy in Belgrade who has done over 1000 approaches, and I feel that's a good goal for anyone who wants to have incredible game.
