That said, the right need to be careful with regards to how they approach this. Slam Harvey. Great. Slam the hypocrisy of the left, awesome. But don't put these women on a pedestal. Your observation is on point. Three months ago the same thing happened to the Dean of USC Keck School of Medicine, Dr. Carmen Puliafito. This man is a very prominent figure both in academia and medicine. His research and inventions helped to save the vision of thousands of patients and he brought in $1B+ in donations and grants for USC.
Nevertheless, it took one crack whore and one presstitute from LA Times to ruin his stellar career. This was a very big deal in SoCal and I am afraid "sexual harassment" has become a very powerful tool to silence and neuter prominent male figures.
I give zero fucks about Weinstein. But if they treat their own this way, then someone on the right will be sentenced to death in near future for lesser things.

You know fellas, this is not just some ordinary liberal fight. This is not like one of those Progressives vs Democrats or Code Pink vs Democrats type of fights.
This is a huge melee between Democrat Party donors and FEMINISTS!
This is not a spat over a fuckin animal sanctuary zone, immigration, or some other bleeding heart agenda.
They are fucking up their money and taking out 2 of their OWN Paragons! Some of the reason Republicans were essentially worthless against Obama was because they do not really those in the same sense. You can probably argue that Republicans have them but only in factions. Not really for the whole party.
Maybe my post belongs in a politics thread somewhere, but work with me for a bit.
If any new Dem candidate takes money from anyone Weinstein next election, that would be equivalent mistake of sending a dick pic to a minor. They won't even be able to set up a Weinstein PAC or other firm to hide that money easily. People are watching now and the second a candidate takes that money and they get caught, boom. Trump and others can use that in the debates and kill.
I repeat this is not some mere spat like a Global Warming conference fight. This shit looks really bad to moderate voters and more importantly it took off a sizable donation chunk of Dem campaign warchest money.
The Democrat party still has not recovered from Nov and the faction that is in the top 3 of their donorbase is throwing a public bitchfit. Their donations were already trending downward last year.

For all we know, this whole thing has been a Bannon set up behind the scenes already. He's one of the only guys with the ability to pull it off.
