You took money from idiots who think XRP is a good coin. Now they have less money, and you have more money, and the world is better because of it.

Good job.

I'm still surprised PBC chose XRP as one of their targeted pumps. It's like number 4 on CMC with billions in market cap, why/how in the hell are you supposed to pump this useless shitcoin with no value? These guys traditionally pump low MC coins so it really blindsided me.

What is this targeted pump? They purposefully group together and pump and dump it? Or that's their advice of what is going to pump naturally but they have so much influence that whatever they pick will pump?

Probably it's "yes" on all accounts. It has become a self-fulfilling prophecy. However it seems people are catching on to them now.

Right now, I'm dumping money into ALTs as with investing the idea is to buy low sale high. For the life of me I dont know why anyone would refrain from buying ALTs at the current moment, i also think btc is gong to go down quite a bit after the fork but I just dont know how much as theres a lot of new money in BTC at the moment. Not just people selling ALTs for BTC but NEW MONEY, theres an article in cointelegraph Coinbase just added 100k new customers in 24 hours.... Right now is the time to buy ALTs in my opinion

Sergey giving a talk at Devcon 3 at around 9:50 Central Europe time I believe:

https://ethereumfoundation.org/devcon3/s...mputation/

If it were any other project and at any other time I'd say it might be worth a swing trade. But I would put the odds of a small price pump on this to be very low.

I dont believe there will be any pump fro this, conferenecs rarely have that effect but I wouldnt mind seeing my Link holdings pump though I'm going long on Link.

Anyone have any good recommendations as to alt-coins to dump some money into? I'm invested in BTC/ETH/LTC and looking to dump some play money into an alt coin but have no idea which to go with. Any hot tips? Smile

What's your goal? Get out in the next weeks/months or buy coins, keep them 1-2 years and check them then..

Short-term: none outside of BTC, too much uncertainty and BTC destroying every coin (although their $ stays quite solid)
Mid-term: ZEN (will be shilled to eternity by some 'influential' group), XRP (same), XZC, OMG
Long-term (buy and check back in 1-2 years): REQ, AMB, WTC

HODLing now to sell in q1 is a terrible idea.

I agree, the bear market of Altcoins is just going to get worse and worse throughout the next few months. We don't even know if we will ever see a return to the rise of altcoins, and we definitely won't see such a rise in q1.

If you invest in NEO based off of those stupid PRC rumors you deserve to lose all your money.

No, I rode NEO from 500k to 1000k and sold, it was one of my first big successful altcoin trades. Might've been my first 2x, looking back. (It's at 360k ATM, for what it's worth.)

The PRC rumors are retarded. Nobody in China wants NEO, look at the amount of volume it was doing on Chinese exchanges versus actual projects like QTUM/HShares.

But we've hashed out the NEO thing on this forum enough already. Why AdEx?

Can't say I agree with you in regards to NEO, I got in at $3 when it was calls ANTshares sold some when they were in the $40s bought back some during the china fud and sold during red pulse ICO purchased a back more when they dropped again due to the fork. I'll keep my nice sized NEO bag for sometime, and feel it's going to grow quite a bit. There are going to be quite a few ICOs using NEO in the near future which will raise the price and once China starts licensing ICOs and allowing the exchanges operate you're going to see a huge jump in price in not just a NEO but many other China coins.

ALTs coins I'm dumping money into right now are Metaverse ETP, NEBL, LINK, COSS , LRC, and NEO. ALTs are going to pump after the fork when a lot of people that got BTC specifically for the fork will starting moving money back into ALTs, B) a lot of new money that got into the space specifically for the meteoric rises in BTC last few weeks start learning there's approx 1000 other tokens and more exchanges aside from coinbase. This is a damn good time to be buying ALTs

I feel the same way as El Jefe and like him I got on that train when it was called Antshares. I'm just accumulating NEO through trading and gaining GAS monthly from the NEON wallet. At 360k I think it's a great re-entry point.

I got in on Adex at 5k after reading some information on what they plan to do. They've started using the NEO platform now too and it looks like their BETA release in January is going to turn some heads. One major holding group posted a buy signal at 19k 2 months haha. Guess they didn't expect the alt to get massacred.

When people say "about to moon" - do they mean take off and stay at new heights? Or do you just mean it's going to rally for a bit with an injection of money?

To Moon - To see rapid upwards growth, when giant green dildos appear on the graphs.
